what makes you think it’s The Light at the end? genuinely interested as i have no clue, but it doesn’t remind me so much of The Light on the Black Classical Music album
I often think about the difference between "wants" and "needs"... but I can honestly say that I feel I NEED to see Yussef live at least once in my life. He's so energetic, authentic, and unique... so in the moment... and puts his whole heart and soul into every sound he makes and every space in between. I've never heard anyone quite like him and it makes me beyond happy and grateful to know he's out there sharing his gift with the world when it needs his light the most. Hoping I can witness this magic in person someday!!! 🙏🎶💙🎶🙏
Do it!!! Just had the pleasure of seeing him LIVE at the Cape Town International Jazz Festival. WOW!!! What an experience. His energy. His total commitment to the EXPERIENCE! The music lineup builds, his skill, his band members unique style, the lighting story, great sound.... Every bit of magic that u imagine it to be.
I agree with you in every word you wrote, man! But one should also note the brilliant musicians around him, such as Elijah Fox, Rocco Palladino, Venna, Charlie Stacey, Alexander Bourt and many others.
The sound quality of this recording is amazing! Thanks for sharing this one of a kind performance of these legends. What kind of device did you use to record this?
@@Igor_Podolsky I wish I could have broken free from work to see him, hopefully I will get a chance in the future again. I’m sure he put on a great show. A very talented drummer and I love his energy!:). Pure vibes!

It was shot in 4k on an iPhone 15pro and a usb mic attachment, the Zoom Am7- Thanks!
Thanks for posting, do awesome! I wish Yussef would come to Chicago, Ill. Until he & his band does, I’m enjoying this.
He's at the top of my list of people I so badly want to come play at least somewhere NEAR me. Hopefully one day... 🙏

Wow, Dallas is this hip, or was this a fluke performance?
I live here and I don't recall a time where an artist shortchanged the audience. To answer your question, definitely hip
