Hopefully he watches this he’s getting double the value for his coaching session
was thinking this about 3/4 the way through - homie paid Neace for a coaching session and got a free one from Chase...
If this Shaco doesn't climb after seeing this then he needs to change champion/role.
I am the Shaco in the video and I am in-fact watching this now.
@@Olixer109 I already dropped Shaco and swapped to J4 after this. I been hardstuck plat for like 6 seasons as Shaco. Trying to change it up.
Tbh he paid 30x the price of a regular coaching
The amount of value in this video is insane. Should be a pre-req before being allowed to ask questions in Chase's chat.
ayo nice to see you here posty!
Dude, this guy never utilizing his backstab is killing me. It's so ingrained into me that I constantly find myself trying to backstab camps and opponents when I'm forced to play other champions LOL!
I really thought I was utilizing backstab as much as I could. It would appear I was not.
Even on your friends irl 😬🌝
@@eXpas04 xD
@@eXpas04
I just like to imagine that these two know each other and he knows that his friend watches neace. Like "You even like backstabbing your friends don't you colton"
@@mlgmcdonaldsland7063ur super cringe
"Remember if you go a build like this you're not really a bruiser, you're not really an assassin, you're not really a tank" ... and you're also not really a champion.
There's another reason to go krugs into red. If you krugs first you can leave your box to finish off medium and small krugs and start red and your box would be coming off cd when you get to chickens, preventing a lot of damage and speeding up the clear in general.
“The hypotenuse of diving into the midlane…” i’m dying right now HAHA! I LOVE this video man! Never seen this channel before but I learned so much in this video! Love your personal feel
as someone new to shaco, honestly this was really informative thank you
I think the issue with coaching shaco is that it automatically becomes reactive play. You have to wait for the coach to make a call to follow so you are on the backfoot
Yeah I’ll always find vod reviewing to be more valuable to be able to explain why I’m saying what I’m saying
Live coaching is a meme. His clients are getting scammed but it’s a good life lesson
post more vids like this this was the most informative league vid i watched(entertaining as well)
Loved this video tbh. You def said alot of things that affirm that im doing the right thing while im jungling and ignoring people pinging me for help when its not worth. Sidenote: the way you have your camera angle I lowkey was expecting to see a head popping out/crawling into your room from the stairs XD.
Love videos like this because it reminds me on what I'm doing wrong while autopiloting
I really enjoyed your perspective from this angle and hearing how you'd approach these situations. I hope you do more of them!
I love your informative shaco videos. I hope you can do more of these. I also wondered if I should prioritize Farming as I do it in my games. Would you prioritize Farming over objectives any case? Also considering game time? I Orten dont donas much dmg early but i am Farming pretty decent I think. Also going chemtank nearly every Game.
14:22 That caught me off gaurd. I laughed probably more than I should have
Brilliantly funny man and excellent advice i will watch u and get coached matey :)
Here because you recommended it to me in stream, can’t believe the amount of value inside of this video. This should seriously be a pay-per-view kind of video. Thank you for the knowledge! VOD reviewing myself and it’s crazy how much time I waste trying to force a gank or wait for a dive when I can be doing enemy Kruggs while I wait for the wave to be shoved.
This got increasingly more enjoyable as the video progressed. Love u Chase
thank you so much chase for this wonderful video.
As a hard stuck platinum player (although not a jungle main) I love hearing your takes man, and how simple the game really is fundamentally speaking.
I don't even play Shaco in jungle but I learned allot from your take of this coaching session love how you break it all down keep up the grind man
Nice video, need more! To many coaching videos out there that say to do this or that but are lacking explanation as to why you're doing said task... Coach just says go here without giving insight as to why, such as 3 enemy are top including enemy jungler, you have an opportunity do to xyz because of the map situation.
great video Chase! Super informative, more content like this please!
" you have triumph on shaco, im reporting you" LMAO subbing from that
like he mentioned in the video guys, literally if ur low elo just farm ur camps in a line and then look around in the direction ur clearing to see if theres any plays while ur farming. once ur done then you can make a play if there is one. never go for the possibility of a play rather than the guaranteed gold from clearing. that's how u break the bad habits and form CONSISTENT play rather than some one off type of thing that works only cus the opponents are bad or low elo.
this vid really makes me want you to make another tutorial video like you did for iwilldominate all that time ago.
Honestly better than neaces coaching. You did a great job. Hope that shaco watches this.
There are other reasons you hold the e other than the ones you gave. Shaco's e passively gives you a slow, but only if the e isn't on cooldown. The champion is designed to engage with q and w then chase and execute with e. Alternatively there are times you don't use the q auto and it's for safe executes. Both shaco builds do it, but with ad shaco it isn't reliable until you get collectors. Shaco's clone is an exact copy of your abilities and all of your items. This means if you use it before using the e it gets a slow.
I'm sure you know all of these things but they are good things to throw around to get noob shacos to learn the character better.
Chase : "I'm the captain now."
Shaco mains : BUT NEACE?
I know this is a lot of comments, but here's one more: 51:44 awesome advice for new players. Speaking from personal experience, I think one of my biggest issues is fear of failure and reticence to limit test for fear of "inting".
Edit: If you clipped that TL;DR and uploaded it as a Short on youtube I think it would be a good little video to link to people. Basically, the timestamp above onwards is an incredibly important fundamental truth for any pvp game.
"im not gonna talk" cool reaction bro lol.
E also has the on-auto slow. You hold E for execute and for countering kite potential. It's free autos with the E passive slow.
This triggered me when I saw Neaces video.
As someone who used to regularly watch your streams and main Shaco. This session triggered me too lol. I hope they both watch this video.
I am the Shaco and I am watching the video.
feels like they both don't know how shaco works xD
@@ROB-cj4kq he just isn't good at league period. that baron fail was the worst thing I've seen this year I had to bleach my fkin eyes xD he just seems that he isn't good at shaco or jg at all but its fine tho roblox exists
I haven't played in over a year, but in silver/gold where I was, clearing jungle first was still the priority. I don't think I have prioritized planned ganks since the old school jungle items were out, before Shaco was reworked.
Chase yelling at them to clear camps and every time I do it in game all I get is flame from my team for farming my jungle when they die solo to their laner... Lol. The way I see it, its like telling a laner to go gank a lane without pushing to tower or telling him to gank a lane while his tower currently being taken by his laner.
mute all... i do what i want and then gank
People are braindead anywhere and everywhere just mute them.
Yeah man, here in goldlow/platlow if I mute all --> full clear twice, my lanes are all 0-3 by the time I come out of the jungle. I'm not even that far ahead in XP because takedown & catch-up XP are outrageous. Sure, I 3-sided my jungle opponent, but their lanes have mythics built and 2 plates off of outers.
Solid way to STAY high elo, not been successful climbing for me. YMMV.
Mute and clear baby
My method for increasing my camp clear priority in my mind is by considering camps sitting there alive in the same way laners view waves dying to their tower. Purely a waste of gold that should be remedied at the earliest possible moment.
First fight: "ok he traded with gp- WHY DO YOU HAVE TRIUMPH"
You can set up preset items for the champs you play so when you return to buy all items you would purchase with that champ is on the front page. Saves a ton of time.
Love the coaching videos Chase, do more!
pink ward: wtf are you guys doing here???
"Make a decisive play and then go in, otherwise there's no point in playing Shaco. You have to play proactively." This applies to a lot of champions, a lot of players are so scared of inting that they basically do nothing and just stagnate by playing incredibly safe that they end up having no impact on the game. I mostly play toplane, and this really applies to a lot of toplaners like Riven, Fiora, Darius.
gonna add more. It applies to life as well. I bet the same people have trouble saying what they think and what they want with their lifes.
@@poisonvolkswagon9431 we dont talk about irl here ;)
I am not even a jungler but learned a lot from this
This will help with the dreaded auto fill
Now that league has changed, I've been playing Shaco for about 2 years now. I play both AD/AP. Anyway, with jungle changes now, in comparison to how other people clear... I triple box red, and by the time I kill it I have a box prepped for krugs. This is usually right about 1.45-1.48 anywhere in there. I normally clear my jungle with approx 1.00-1.05 seconds left to scuttle spawn. Is this good clear? If I have leash, plus my 3 boxes, I arrive at krugs approx 1.40 and usually will be at raptors approx 2.00 minutes into game.
I always do 3 camps and gank. Now I learned that it's nit that worth sometimes. But my plan is to tilt the enemy and feed my team so much, that these fucks will win at any time, even though they make a dumbest decision in the game. Good elo
Would love to be coached by the GOAT shaco! maybe one day :D
Learn a lot in this video 😊
i wish there were vids like this for the champs i play
In other words:
- BACKSTABS, SAVE Q for as last resort, always Auto when possible and E last.
- Camps (enemy too) > ganks
(shaco can't solo champs early and is better of scaling while look for opportunities)
- Pan cam/look around
-Assassins make first move, seek vulnerable champs (BACKLINE)
(Shaco is an assassin, needs to set urself up)
KEEP WAVES SHOVED, if not u can do anything with kills
- BE EFFICIENT BY:
Prioritise clearing camps on CD (liner pathing), krugs > red > raptors > wolves > group > blu... etc (to spawn together)
ALWAYS doing something and not loitering
Practice using shop w/o wast of time
NOTES: Blade of the ruin king good, replace strikebreaker with BOTRK, good for bruiser
Hope this helps y'all :))
"I'm backseat coaching..." That made me laugh so hard I don't know why.
Do all of your engagement tips also work for AP Shaco? I feel like you would die too quickly when you go in aggressively. Sorry I’m kinda new to Shaco
nahhh im dying this vid was great man
the problem in low elo when you play jungle, everyone expect you to gank all the time and they start pining and flaming so you get used to this mindset. You get scared to get flamed
People in low elo are low elo for a reason. Would you follow a homeless man's advice on how to get money?
19:29 is a surprisingly a rare take to hear from a high elo player on youtube. Good on ya, Chase.
PinkWard has been doing this bruiser build with Blade of the Ruined King + Sunfire + Wits End + Lich Bane.
I think Neace kinda let him go astray this game. Randuins + Frozen Heart is bad. Doubling up Wardens is real real bad.
Good video, I don’t know if the music is totally necessary though. If you do include it keep it even a little lower.
Like you said Chase him using E at the beginning of initiating fights was excruciatingly painful to watch.
34:09 Thats just sick, Ive learned alot from this video, but I just cant wrap how I would know twitch would be there for me to Q over to him, Chase's experience just blew my mind there. Im just as bad if not worse than this shaco guy here.
u saw on map twitch on mid and in twitches mind he knows fight goes on top and thinks mayb camps are up or i can sneak up to someone isolated in the jung
I didn’t know it was a guess. Educated guesses are huge on assassins especially in a low risk situation like that
I'm learning here more than in the neace one
This was hilarious to watch
Hey man, is there anyway you can make a perfect shaco jungle clear? Like tips on rotations , when to recall, the best farms to start the game and to farm coming back from base… there are guides out there but they aren’t super detailed or it’s them playing the game but not actually explaining their thought process and actions while doing it, like I know to start on raptors red and krugs, then gank bot or go back up to wolves and blue into frog? Idk I’m pretty newb just coming back, or there is the go blue first and hop over wall into red then krugs and gank top, just would be good to know when to go for what camps and when to go for scuddle crab, just to know the constant jungle farm game plan and maybe the most important core items to get when recalling, thanks I really liked how you were coaching this vid
Also when to go for objectives like times or what levels you should go for them
Oh and is there any way if you do the video to start from bottom side? Easier for us newbs that practice our clear from bot matches lol 😂
How do you have like every skin and 900 chromas on them but not the time to read what your champ's abilities do
21:26 another very good take. I don't, personally, like how Neace characterizes low elo players as stupid. They're not, they just lack fundamentals.
i enjoyed it alot. much lovee
I went into a game as shaco for the first time in a while, ignored my teamates, cleared first, then looked for a gank, like u said, went 11/0/4 and they ff’ed….
I don't get very well the part that Shaco isn't an early game champion.
I saw a video of I Will Dominate saying something similar. IWD defined it as a late game Hypercarry
I have been playing Shaco for a while, but, I feel like is a champion that capitalizes on errors. I'm only gold, and i think I just divide champions in the black and white dicotomy, either you ate early game and permafight or you are late game hug your turret and we carry at lv 16.
Assassin's have to be 1 level or more than adcs to oneshot them. That's the reason why Chase emphasizes over farming.
Idk, I have to feel more the champion.
I'd expect someone with a sum name like that to backstab his camps, but your point about being nervous might be impacting that stuff.
@@ROB-cj4kq I did lose a lot of games, but I have not went back to Shaco.
if I learned anything from this video as an unranked shaco player in training... 👩🏾🌾
Do you have any video guides?
Do you realize the optics of this are the equivalent to: The average professional basketball player watching a video of a random dude playing basketball and screaming things like: "Why are you not dunking on that dude?! Why don't you know how to do a 360 behind the back layup in traffic?!"
League players scream and complain, and in game they ping constantly, when they are smurfing in bronze, silver, and gold queue... wondering "WHY IS EVERYONE PLAYING LIKE THEY ARE IN BRONZE, SILVER, AND GOLD QUEUE???!"
Not even a Shaco player but I really appreciate the informative videos 👍
This INTRO 💥
gj on dragon.
it's insane how many junglers I see waiting in a tri bush for something to happen while their whole jungle is up, or clearing camps randomly/skipping camps for no reason. What you said about clearing your camps in a line seems so obvious. These junglers make it so much more complicated for no reason especially in low elo where there's no reason to.
Anyone know the song or playlist? Shits hella chill.
Huh so TIL that the reason I gap enemy junglers all the time is because I clear my camps before I go to int somewhere
Yo im So Glad you did this review lol
Imagine if you could buy outside the shop and it'd only get activated once you hit the fountain. Kinda like in Dota 2. I think it'd be a billion times better.
i love his perspective as, i hate shaco, thx for the tips :D
aww chase is so nice
I think most of the problems with Neace coaching is that in low elo he always coach like if the team mates and the enemy team are all braindead which in some coachings isn't the case and the guy paying is destroyed for following his strat without thinking a second. It's like "well he's my coach i should do as he say" and sometimes, the enemy is not so braindead as he think.
Edit: it's really hard to recognize the beat macro plays while live coaching. He has to pay attention for the student's goofie mechanics and mistakes, correct them, while also proceasing the game and making the right decisions. This is why Chase called plays before him, because he has so many things to look at and actually communicate to the student while also not overwhelm him. He is a good coach, he just doesn't overdoes his job. Nobody can learn from instuctions only and they have to also dogest and process information and logic behind plays. (Aince the session, this Shaco player climbed to platinum I believe)
He is actually a pretty good teacher imo. Sure, he is not maining every champ he coaches, but his macro overall is very good.
Ofc he doesn't necessary know every champion specific strategies and niches.
He has champs he recommends for low elo, he knows them pretty well. Shaco is not one of them, yet he knew his shit around macro, quite well. He didn't correct every mistake mechanics wise, but macro wise it was nice.
He always said he is teaching macro the best and some specific champions. Shaco is an odd champion.
really well said friend
I agree live coaching is very difficult and can be very overwhelming. I was trying to add value knowing that I can pause the vod at any point
@@ChaseShaco1v9 I get it. Nice vid. Some people are just mental about Neace in the comment section. Had to speak up for the guy.
I learned what Neace repeats on every video about macro from a Reddit post almost 10 years ago. He charges 300 and does not even go into detail about what the person does wrong. He just goes on about the macro. You can read a macro guide and it applies to everyone. Paying for one on one coaching and getting general info is just a waste of money. Yell at him to backstab. Yell at him to farm more. Yell at him to get his full clear timing. To make decisions . To not go for drake steals when they put you behind...
@@georgesarreas5509 to be fair, its their fault for paying 350$ for coaching ON A STREAM, and I dont agree with his practices, he seems to only sell them what they mostly need
nice one
like this , it can help the shaco player a lot .
love the vid
This is how you get free shaco coaching sessions
Damn I'm early
i do all these things i should be diamond but i cannot get past plat 3... idk why
Do you do coaching?
Super late to this but I'm really surprised that a shaco main in any rank uses e to start their fights every time.
I'm just disgusted that a Darius jg was that decent above Bronze
"I would have 287 right now, not that it's a contest"
but it IS a contest isn't it?
He doesn't aspire to be gold forever, otherwise he wouldn't have gotten the coaching. It's a bit steep to compare yourself to a challenger player, but it IS a contest. He should be challenging himself to reach your farm numbers, your KDA numbers, your objective score, your vision score. The best way to improve is to hold yourself to the standards of better players
Bro where'd your body hair go?
I have never been on this channel or seen this shaco main but the fact that 3 minutes in he says "as a jungler you need to adapt to the situations as they arise" speaks volumes. Even high elo junglers have issues with this. Take a look at Tilterella's videos cheesing the enemy. His own junglers go brain dead and don't know how to cope.
I was the shaco being coached. After I paid neace the $350 he took my cheeks I’m 17btw
u got scammed bro neace is not a good coacher hes giving bronze silver base informations only that its free on internet and ppl pay 350 omg u guys are dumb
most of you dont realize, neaces coaching isnt particularly how to play a specific champ in most cases.. his main coaching is on the macroing. Not how to be the best on a champ
This coaching totally seems worth 350 dollars... We are talking about how bad the shaco player is, but the $350 dollar coach isn't telling him anything. Low elo = hit minions and win because they dont hit minions... That'll be 350 dollars now. Thanks.
Wtf is that build too?? AHHH! 😭
You are a funny guy :D
Are there really dudes paying 300$ for a dude watching you play telling you what to do in each moment? He doesn't give any tips or tricks, just looking at the minimap and giving info for 300 bucks xD
Love this content. I play a mean suicide bomber Shaco. Always go in and try to explode someone and get out. Sometimes I get away sometimes not. But the main thing is taking out the Squishies!
If it makes you feel any better I was in neaces chat watching this game spamming stop leading with your e
Backstabbing your camps
And use your wall flash points with q.
This guy was clearly an ap only player based on the way he conducted himself in general.
