So the bus-guy who built his life and channel around adventure bus life, finds a bus. Why are we surprised? Better question; why are y'all big mad?
This was Isaac's life; build, flip, write & shoot wedding/other one offs, as a gas money along the way. The goal was to do that til the dream rig came along.
Things changed. Jaylena, Ember, the owners sold the shop property, an they've been on the mountain, less than a year. It's _their_ lives. This isn't the 1980s, C-18+1 changed everything. Deep breath, decide what has lasting value to you, compromise so both of you get there. I'll pick up the legos, if that will help 😉👍

There’s something about restoration that’s really appealing. I think you should go for it…I just took a huge leap in starting a major renovation on the home I grew up in and I know I could have used the money in other ways or for another plan for a house, but there’s something about doing this thing with the house I’ve always known that you can’t put a price on…..as you said, the nostalgia. YOLO 😁

@@loralora4368 crazy, right?! I guess so many people missed how Issac always referred to the future with her as an unknown! She also shows hurt when she talks about the breakup. A promise ring not engagement right, ok people! Jaylena’s only fault (imo) was she never took the time to heal from her previous narcissistic relationship. When we do not take time to heal we will usually find ourselves in the same type of situation later. Strange that it’s supposed to be adults on social media but many of them are unable to read a person’s behavior and facial expressions. 😂

I know you say buying this bus isnt a business discussion, but i think it is. Completely restoring buses isn't something we've seen a lot. My wife and I found a bus that need so much love but we're terrified. Watching you do it would help us and I'm sure others as well. Also you would be making music and using it to live out of while you play shows. Idk I'm sure you'll make the right decision. As somone who's benn around since the skooliana days, I'm just selfishly happy you're thinking about it! Lol

I knew it. Your heart is a 7.3 Powerstroke. 😂 This one has a bunch of work for sure, so they need to give you a realllly good price for letting it sit, having body damage, etc…. Knowing you, it will be a massive undertaking because you’ll want to do it really right, even tho you can take your time. but if not this one, there will be one that you can take on the road and actually use it to make a music career. I realize you’re up to your eyeballs in projects and financial challenges, but you’ve made your best living in bus life stories. ✌️❤️🚌

I hate to say this, but I was laughing so hard my sides hurt when Ember was starting to meltdown and you were still telling us the pros and cons of that bus. Too funny. ~ Seriously though, the same way Jaylena sold her Lexus to buy the van of her dreams, the truck has never seemed to be your heart's desire. That bus just might be *IT*.

There is a lot I could say both for and against it. You know all of those reasons. Yet you are still like a little kid in a candy store. As long as you can afford to fix the roof, start a new business and afford the bus, then go for it. A lot of the comments are right on everyone has good points. Think about it, talk with Jaylena not on camera, just the two of you being honest about what is best for your family. Love you both!

That bus has more than 114,000 miles on it. They swapped the dash cluster out for sure. Funny how they didn't put the damage pics in the ad. Pull that gauage cluster out and see if it has junkyard numbers in it.

Here's my thoughts:
Take your property and carve it out into mini "lots" for parking your vans, buses, etc like a mobile home park or a campground. You can have a few spaces for travelers to stay overnight ($), have spaces for the two of you to use as a homebase for your own van/bus, and have spaces for proiect vans/buses where you can work on & film. Invite other people to bring their van/bus "on set" for you to work on for video content in exchange for doing the work.
Also, use your house as a clubhouse of sorts for family activities. Or as an office for the van/bus/mini home complex.

@@isaacturnerit I'm not sure how zoning works out there in Oregon, so I guess it's not permissable everywhere. With the tiny house boom, this might be a way to incorporate your hobbies, start some creative business ideas, have a home base for Ember, have a place for other travelers to bunk for a night or several, maybe sell your skills for renovating buses & vans to people looking for advice or just someone who has the tools & know how, and you can have little gatherings where you can have concerts.
I've been to a lot of campgrounds who have regular activities for the kids... maybe go with something like that where Ember can unite with friends with parents who also enjoy the lifestyle. I've also been to a lot of music festivals and I know there are always folks who just want to meet up and jam. It seems like something you could coordinate with Jalena so that you can get away while she stays at the homestead and maybe she takes over the activity schedule while you travel or are deep into your projects. All to have some stability & "home" for Ember.

I definitely think its great that you are thinking of ember. And keeping a home base for her in a few short years she will be starting school. You can use your bus building skills for your home. Im looking forward to how you will do the back porch. I envision a outside play area for ember. And if you save one of the fireplaces you could enjoy outdoor time with friends etc. I think a bus would be great eventually. But this one does not seem like the right one. This is just my opinion. Looking forward to the bus tour. I think a fun bus side thing for you would be to help others fix or build their busses you would get videos and tours out of it. Isnt that how you got started on u tube. Teaching Jaylena. Also some videos of local Oregon places to visit that are kid friendly would be fun to watch.

@@loralora4368 Jaylena showed up in Oregon to have Isaac built her bus. She thought the romantic relationship she would have for a while, get the bus built and move on with her life. Getting pregnant was NOT in the plans. She didn't think she could even get pregnant. I think selling the Big Bus and watching her chance of travel and buying the house with all the work that came with it, she could see her future stuck there. All she ever wanted was to be on the road....and her excitement on getting Issac to build that van out for her is papable. She is happy .....she can see her road future now. Yes, she has cleaned and painted the van..but without Isaac doing all the "heavy lifting"" on it, She should never she built out that van. The front they put on for to keep both their You Tube income is paramount to way of living.

She was searching, Isaac made that happen for them. Annnnd she's unhappy still. From experience abuse is hard to overcome but she talked more about the ex than Isaac. Bad vibes.

Love the way you always say we! !!As the bus, yes a lot of work, you could not even drive it to test it, and now you also have to redue what he did. 😂 I’m hoping since they touched the engine, AC , ignition locked, ( he put it for sale and did not think you would test drive it) and sitting there for a year. etc, I guess how much you want to put into it and how long you willing to do the build. You will do a great job but if that enjoys is bad, you got to dump money in it. You had that smile but might be a long build to do. Good luck with whatever you do.
