My 380 EVO is with 1800mah right. Yes , the EVO version is a little bit heavy than standard one. Two versions flying feeling is a bit different but both are good heli s .
@@Kennystart thanks for the reply man, I’m a big fan of yours since like 2008. Your flying style is one of my favorites. I bought most of my old align helis because I loved watching your flights. I bought the protos 380 standard one year ago and it took me a while to figure out that it needed stiff dampening and lighter batteries to get it to feel locked in and the tail was also a bit tricky to lock in. So when I see this new version with you flying 1800 mah packs I’m feeling confused? I was thinking that with the metal blade grips as opposed to plastic it is possible to get better performance with 1800 mah packs?
@@Kennystart I use to fly my 380 standard with 1800 mah pack with the stock soft dampening and it was not so good.... so I thought about it and decided to try lighter 6s 1500mah quad batteries I had and I upgraded to the “red” harder dampeners and performance was way better. What head dampeners are you using in the video with the plastic blade grips and 1800 mah battery?

@@Gggggghhvvbbb I was using red one . But now XLPOWER has new POM damper that is way better than red one . I suggest you can try POM one.
