i agree with her when she says HURTING animals is wrong but forcing her vegan beliefs onto people for “spreading awareness” isn’t okay. we can be vegan if we want and we can be meat eaters if we want. it’s a lifestyle choice for god sake
yeah and I did try being totally plant based but it didn’t work for me. I had dizzy spells because my iron was low, tried taking supplements but even then, eating as much as I had to eat to compensate for the lack of meat was just not feasible for me. I still eat plant based meals often but I’m just not entirely plant based anymore.

Animals on farms get a good life. They are fed well, rested well, they have good shelter and when they’re killed for meat, they don’t feel pain and they die in 1 second
I mean I totally agree that she can’t compare it to the Holocaust and I eat meat myself, but honestly a lot of farms are really bad and the animals are treated horribly. Which I don’t think is right, they should be treated with respect while they’re alive. I love meat and definitely don’t think there’s anything wrong with eating meat, but I just hate the way that the animals are treated.

I don't think she's every personally looked around a farm, she's only looked at pictures on her vegan platforms she promotes. I live in country/farmland and I see farms regularly and coming from me the sheep, cows and horses are mostly kept in wide open spaces like fields.

Can she PLEASE stop saying we're all part of the "r*pe" of innocent animals? Even "torture" is pushing it in my mind, though I totally understand that lots of industries treat animals horrifically, so I'm not gonna argue about that. But, "r*pe"? Seriously?
I really need her to stop using that word. The escalated breeding timetable in the dairy industry, while not a good thing (I haven't done extensive research, so forgive me for not having a stronger stand on that), is NOT equivalent to the mental and physical anguish of a human going through r*pe.
I'm not even arguing that animals don't have enough feelings or whatever. I know animals have deep running emotions, and I'm sure there are things animals suffer that are equivalent, but the dairy-farm time table is not it, sis. That's a rough lifestyle and not healthy for the cows involved, but the natural breeding process being sped up and heifers not getting to be with their calves as long as they should is NOT r*pe (though, yes, I agree, cows got it rough in the US and wherever else that happens in such a factory/results-oriented environment) .
Keep advocating for the animals all you like. Good for you. But don't make light of the way-too-common, horrific struggle that adults and CHILDREN go through. It's an atrocity, and you are making it into a meme. stfu

A lot of ingredients are unethically sourced, the labour used is either childlabour or otherwise not paid enough and that's what makes them unethical, but there are no animal parts :) you could argue that mining done for the ingredients does damage nature and the habitats of many animals hence making cellphones not vegan, but that's sadly everything nowadays.
