I think *some of the hybrids in this pack* are *missed opportunities* . Firstly, *Ankylodocus* is the only sauropod (in this game) that has a club tail, *you could make him the only sauropod that fights back with its tail* . Secondly, *Stegoceratops* is the only ceratopsian that has a thagomizer, it would *make sense if he used it to fight back like his hybrid parent* , the Stegosaurus.
I propose two really cool attack animations for Ankylodocus and Stegoceratops. Firstly, Ankylodocus will use it's clubbed tail to attack carnivores, and if they survive, it will crush them with it's huge legs. It will also do threat displays upon meeting a predator. Secondly, Stegoceratops will hit enemies with it's thagomizer and stab them with it's frill, as well as bellowing while raising it's thagomizer to intimidate predators.

They could add new hibrids or the idominous camouflage, the microceratops other skins idk. Lots of content that people really want. Not hibrids that should be in the base game. Shunosaurus is my favorite sauropod. I personally hurt seeing this as well. Would've been epic to see Shunosaurus as a joke hybrid, then revealing at the end that it was in fact not a hybrid at all. Instead giving us a different sauropod hybrid like a Apatosaurus and psittacosaurus. Lol Or a unique aquatic or flying hybrid instead.
Well, Masrani gave their president a skull made of gold and a whole building so I think they are good friends. I imagine if this was after the 2015 incident never happened and that company decided to work with Ingen to avoid a lawsuit.

the bioluminescency looks great, but if we ever get it as a customizable gene for every species to use, it would be cool if the patterns didn't show up during daylight. In the species we have the actual patterns are there all the time, and just light up during the night. It would give us more variety if the patterns had the option to stay hidden during the day

We need some serious justice for the sauropods. They ain’t just big props, they were some of the most defensive animals to ever exist and were more than capable of protecting themselves from predation. Now you give us one fused with Ankylosaurus; adapted to be a living tank, and it STILL can’t fight back?? What is even happening lmao
The only negatives: only one type of Lux skin, Stegoceratops should have had a face variant with Nasutoceratops, Stegoceratops should have used the thagomizer, Ankylodocus should have been the introduction of sauropod combat and the previous 3 hybrids should have been in an Update with leaving 3 new slots for other animals.
@@loirigudo It may seem that they’ve repurposed assets from the first JWE but nah I can see that they’ve remodelled them. Ankylodicus (If that’s how you spell it) is the more obvious example but spinoraptor and stegoceratops has been to. That means they’ve taken the time to remodel, build UV’s, create the multiple texture variants for each in-game pattern. Somebody’s had to rig them to fit the JWE2 skeletons, someone’s had to craft their unique animations (especially sync kill animations which are difficult to create even simple walk and run cycles can be difficult) someone’s had to script these entities into game, that means the various animations linked to states if they use a finite state machine, creating arguments for behaviour triggers as in how they interact with dinos of the same species, dinos of other species, humans. Their unique diets as seen with the spinoceratops. If they’ve not repurposed sounds from the 1st game then someone would’ve had to create them from scratch. All this can take weeks or months to produce even if they decided to use existing JWE models as a base and edited the meshes. Even creating this trailer that we’re commenting on. So yes phenomenal job.
@@OliverTwist-fc3xc that’s fair enough, I personally like them and it’s quite a nice experience to see them. Would’ve been cool if they implemented with a more modular approach where it had its own menu implemented and not tied to the base skin, where you can pick and choose the lux colours.

Honestly I don’t blame them. Before anybody jumps at me I should clarify I don’t hate this pack. I get a lot of people love hybrids and that’s cool. Me personally though, there is nothing here that really excites me.
Honestly, this DLC is disappointing considering it just adds a new species and 3 that were already a DLC. The new skins are cool, but I still wish there was a bit more.

Everyone only talks about how the Ankylodocus shpuld fight back, but for me the real missed opportunity is that they didn't redesign the Stegoceratops and Spinoceratops. The latter probably wasn't even a consideration, because it's tied to Camp Cretaceous, but after seeing the design glow-up of Ankylodocus, and the fantastic Spinoraptor, I really hoped they would at least change the Stegoceratops a little bit. What I'm actually trying to say, is that the Ankylodocus and Spinoraptor look like ACTUAL HYBRIDS, a somewhat believable 50/50 mix between the two species. The other two, however, just look like Ceratopsians with stuff unconvincingly glued on their backs. I'm surprised how nobody else seems to be talking about this, because that for me is the main reason why i'll probably wait for sale before buying this pack.
While the dinosaurs are cool, like Spinoraptor, Ankylodocus, Stegoceratops and Spinoceratops, this is the only thing this DLC offers. No Hybrid Storyline campaign or anything? Not even a free update comes with it. We could have had fighting sauropods at last, or even walking pterosaurs. But nothing at all. Hopefully the next DLC brings a free update with something good, this is just not it for me despite the amazing quality of the dinosaurs.
Did the announcer say "Mantah Corps"? Not getting my hopes up, but I would be surprised if they did add in a Cenozoic Pack. Unless they save that for a JW3. But I would more likely want an official Little Eatie Skin.

Huge disappointment that you add a sauropod that cant fight or defend itself even though it was stated to do these things and then eventually changed, as a matter of fact and I have stated this multiple times its a disappointment that in some of the sauropods profile it is said that no carnivore will fight it either because its too big or that it has spikes to defend itself with etc. which none of the sauropods can do, not even one that is suppose to be feared by carnivores or that is given the tools to fight them Another let down is that you add 2 ceratoptians one which is basically the same as the one in the previous game (stegoceratops) which acts like a normal triceratops, no impalement or it using its tail at all which counts the same as for spinoceratops, yea it can eat fish which is pretty nice but otherwise these 3 herbivores are basically the same as any other herbivore in the game The only reason why this pack is good is because of spinoraptor which share like one animation with australovanator and the lux skins, otherwise this pack is a disappointment Frontier you missed your opportunity

Yeah you should make unique animations for the hybrids like making the ankyolodicus the only sauropod in the game fight other dinosaurs, and PLEASE ADD THE SMILODON IN THE GAME it’s one of the final species to be added so maybe create a Cenozoic/mammal pack please I will never give up hope on that specific animal 🐅🦣🦏
What I would've done, Ankylodocus, love the makeover but would've made it tough. Therapod trying to get a bite, gets the club before it leaves to prove a point or a chance it misses. Should be able to square up to the carnivores too ready to defend itself and scare them off by displaying its strength. Stegoceratops, 2015 film skin And variants two ways to attack the horns or the thagomizer, Little carnivores trying to pack hunt have a chance to be kebabed on it aswell. Give it a kill, wether it swings its tail into the attacker or rams into them. Spinoraptor, not.much to say other than in a pack will try to take out the smaller saurapods, camara, diplo, etc. Maybe even pack hunting therapods if 2 can. Spinoceratops, give it a kill, ramming into the side of a carnivore with its horn maybe twice.
I wish Stegoceratops had the designer of Stegoceratops from the 2015 film, and the concept arts. Even Ludia from JW The Game used conceptual art to create Stegoceratops from JW The Game in 2015.
Remember dino island, a park builder from like 2001? There you could mix any species with each other and mutate them further with radiation. Good times
JWE2 urgently needs to add more mechanics, add different new attractions in addition to rides, but also include the boat ride, that suspension bridge to walk among the brachiosaurus (an attraction scheduled to debut in Jurassic World before the collapse), the iconic balloons from JURASSIC PARK GENESIS and possibility of accidents and rescuing tourists

In the first game, Stegoceratops also used its tail in combat. Why not now? This bug needs to be fixed. A lot of dinosaur animations are missing that were in the first game.
The base game is fine, it includes flying and marine species, if you want the dinosaurs that were gradually created it is obvious that you have to pay 😑

We need some serious justice for the sauropods. They ain’t just big props, they were some of the most defensive animals to ever exist and were more than capable of protecting themselves from predation. Now you give us one fused with Ankylosaurus; adapted to be a living tank, and it STILL can’t fight back?? What is even happening lmao

Actually it’s 4.5/2.5, you forgot spinoraptor, and Spinoceratops is 50/50
The only negatives: only one type of Lux skin, Stegoceratops should have had a face variant with Nasutoceratops, Stegoceratops should have used the thagomizer, Ankylodocus should have been the introduction of sauropod combat and the previous 3 hybrids should have been in an Update with leaving 3 new slots for other animals.

@@loirigudo It may seem that they’ve repurposed assets from the first JWE but nah I can see that they’ve remodelled them. Ankylodicus (If that’s how you spell it) is the more obvious example but spinoraptor and stegoceratops has been to. That means they’ve taken the time to remodel, build UV’s, create the multiple texture variants for each in-game pattern. Somebody’s had to rig them to fit the JWE2 skeletons, someone’s had to craft their unique animations (especially sync kill animations which are difficult to create even simple walk and run cycles can be difficult) someone’s had to script these entities into game, that means the various animations linked to states if they use a finite state machine, creating arguments for behaviour triggers as in how they interact with dinos of the same species, dinos of other species, humans. Their unique diets as seen with the spinoceratops. If they’ve not repurposed sounds from the 1st game then someone would’ve had to create them from scratch.
All this can take weeks or months to produce even if they decided to use existing JWE models as a base and edited the meshes. Even creating this trailer that we’re commenting on. So yes phenomenal job.
Never liked Lux Skins tbh, i don't find them this interesting or necessary.
@@OliverTwist-fc3xc that’s fair enough, I personally like them and it’s quite a nice experience to see them. Would’ve been cool if they implemented with a more modular approach where it had its own menu implemented and not tied to the base skin, where you can pick and choose the lux colours.

Honestly I don’t blame them. Before anybody jumps at me I should clarify I don’t hate this pack. I get a lot of people love hybrids and that’s cool. Me personally though, there is nothing here that really excites me.

The new skins are cool, but I still wish there was a bit more.

Everyone only talks about how the Ankylodocus shpuld fight back, but for me the real missed opportunity is that they didn't redesign the Stegoceratops and Spinoceratops.
The latter probably wasn't even a consideration, because it's tied to Camp Cretaceous, but after seeing the design glow-up of Ankylodocus, and the fantastic Spinoraptor, I really hoped they would at least change the Stegoceratops a little bit.
What I'm actually trying to say, is that the Ankylodocus and Spinoraptor look like ACTUAL HYBRIDS, a somewhat believable 50/50 mix between the two species.
The other two, however, just look like Ceratopsians with stuff unconvincingly glued on their backs.
I'm surprised how nobody else seems to be talking about this, because that for me is the main reason why i'll probably wait for sale before buying this pack.
While the dinosaurs are cool, like Spinoraptor, Ankylodocus, Stegoceratops and Spinoceratops, this is the only thing this DLC offers. No Hybrid Storyline campaign or anything? Not even a free update comes with it. We could have had fighting sauropods at last, or even walking pterosaurs. But nothing at all. Hopefully the next DLC brings a free update with something good, this is just not it for me despite the amazing quality of the dinosaurs.
Did the announcer say "Mantah Corps"? Not getting my hopes up, but I would be surprised if they did add in a Cenozoic Pack. Unless they save that for a JW3. But I would more likely want an official Little Eatie Skin.

I think you can add things like little eater, cc spinosaurus pattern or I think you can increase the height of the spinosaurus (I don't know if the height is the same), cc smilodon or something else is just a suggestion :V
Huge disappointment that you add a sauropod that cant fight or defend itself even though it was stated to do these things and then eventually changed, as a matter of fact and I have stated this multiple times its a disappointment that in some of the sauropods profile it is said that no carnivore will fight it either because its too big or that it has spikes to defend itself with etc. which none of the sauropods can do, not even one that is suppose to be feared by carnivores or that is given the tools to fight them
Another let down is that you add 2 ceratoptians one which is basically the same as the one in the previous game (stegoceratops) which acts like a normal triceratops, no impalement or it using its tail at all which counts the same as for spinoceratops, yea it can eat fish which is pretty nice but otherwise these 3 herbivores are basically the same as any other herbivore in the game
The only reason why this pack is good is because of spinoraptor which share like one animation with australovanator and the lux skins, otherwise this pack is a disappointment

Yeah you should make unique animations for the hybrids like making the ankyolodicus the only sauropod in the game fight other dinosaurs, and PLEASE ADD THE SMILODON IN THE GAME it’s one of the final species to be added so maybe create a Cenozoic/mammal pack please I will never give up hope on that specific animal 🐅🦣🦏
What I would've done,
Ankylodocus, love the makeover but would've made it tough. Therapod trying to get a bite, gets the club before it leaves to prove a point or a chance it misses.
Should be able to square up to the carnivores too ready to defend itself and scare them off by displaying its strength.

two ways to attack the horns or the thagomizer, Little carnivores trying to pack hunt have a chance to be kebabed on it aswell.
Give it a kill, wether it swings its tail into the attacker or rams into them.
Spinoraptor, not.much to say other than in a pack will try to take out the smaller saurapods, camara, diplo, etc.
Maybe even pack hunting therapods if 2 can.
Spinoceratops, give it a kill, ramming into the side of a carnivore with its horn maybe twice.

JWE2 urgently needs to add more mechanics, add different new attractions in addition to rides, but also include the boat ride, that suspension bridge to walk among the brachiosaurus (an attraction scheduled to debut in Jurassic World before the collapse), the iconic balloons from JURASSIC PARK GENESIS and possibility of accidents and rescuing tourists
Each DLC are four new species. Our wishlist is.
Quaternary pack: Mammoth, Smilodon, Titanis and Megalodon.
Pleistocene pack: megatherium, glyptodon, whooly rhino, Cave lion.
Permian species: inastroncevia, estemmenosuchus, moschops and scuttosaur.
Herbivore: plateosaur, microceratus, protoceratops and einiosaurus.
Flying species: hatzegopteryx, pterodaustro, archeopterix, and pterodactyl.
Prehistoric crocodiles: deinosuchus, sarcosuchus, fasolasuchus, simosuchus.
Pterodactyl is Pteranodon actually..
Pterodactylus is a small pterosaur from jurassic.

In the first game, Stegoceratops also used its tail in combat. Why not now? This bug needs to be fixed. A lot of dinosaur animations are missing that were in the first game.

The base game is fine, it includes flying and marine species, if you want the dinosaurs that were gradually created it is obvious that you have to pay 😑

Despite its problems. I'm very happy to see the original (and 1 new!) Hybrids in the game. But please Frontier. If you're headed towards ending service for this amazing game. Please go out with a bang. Not with this pack. Also, please make it that Ankylodocus can fight back. I know, animations and rigging is very hard work. But you kind of advertised it to the youtubers. And I can say that Evo Square was kinda disappointed as with a handful of others. We know you listen to the community. We know you can pull off one last amazing update/pack. You've got this
