Great variety in your collection, and nice too see you’re upfront and honest about the homage watches. I’m a bit of a Seikopath myself and i find that SLA023 so beautiful and one of the most charming dive watches out there.
Thank you very much for your kind feedback! Much appreciated. Yeah, the Sla023 is an awesome piece and definitely THE Seiko diver to get. The blue is one of the best if not the best on a watch I’ve seen so far.
Fantastic to see a UA-cam creator not being a gatekeeper of watch collecting. Someone who appreciates watches across the spectrum of prices and brands. It’s refreshing. Also - I believe that the Wolbrook is not a homage of the GO. Plenty of skin divers from the 50s and 60s had this design language - including the original Wolbrook brand. SeaQ has simply been the one brand to bring it back successfully and popularised it again. Don’t quote me on that though!!!
Hi! I just bought my first automatic, a Seiko SRPE57, and I noticed that the rotor makes a subtle sound when it spins. Is it normal? Is like a subtle bearing sound
Yes, in this case the rotor seems to wind the watch only in one way and not bidirectionally. Other movements provide bidirectional winding without this „noise“
Everyone has different ways of pursuing happiness. Collecting items is a strange thing that all men do at some point. I just happen to enjoy collecting watches and firearms. For you it may be Pokémon cards. Who knows and who cares? Do what makes you happy.
that is a killer collection! love the fact that you completely own up to the homages! not a lot of channels doing that!
Thank your very much for your feedback!
Awesome video and an amazing collection. The diversity in your collection is refreshing to see.

Really good collection sir. Any collection with a Pagani and a Rolex is a true watch lovers collection! As for adding I'd love to see a Sinn556

Thank you so much for your feedback! Really appreciate it. Totally agree regarding the Wolbrook. It’s really a silly discussion who „copied“ whom.
Beautiful collection

Have you watched the new TV show "Kaos" - a lot of the story is around the watch that Zeus wears - the Casio A159WGEA :)
I haven’t yet but thank you very much for the suggestion!
@@watchyouwant1617 It's not bad. Jeff Goldblum plays the watch-passionate Zeus

@@watchyouwant1617 thanks! But my watch has the 4r36 movement and it's bidirectional
@@Mat-sz9hs Then a little bit of sound is ok. It shouldn’t be too loud (like a valjoux Chrono movement).
You are not Watch colector you re Watch buyer
@@christianherrmann9615 does a watch collector buy watches?
You should sell at least half of your collection. What is the point of having so many watches?
Because it’s fun, get over it
I ask myself the same question🤣 Maybe it’s just the hunt. Right now I‘m in selling mode again
