- Hi everyone! I know I know, it's been a while, but I've returned with a BANGER video. Today I'm putting you onto my top 5 complimented and favorite perfumes of 2023. Have you guys tried or smelled any of these scents? Let me know your thoughts and what your most complimented perfumes are!

Your fragrance descriptions are top tier -- when you said yum pistachio gelato smells like the color white, I immediately got it
Same, thought of soap smells back in the day . I used to love cashmere bouquet soap and ivory fresh out the pack. Ohhhh original dove. It doesn’t smell like that anymore 😢.
I really hope that people realize that just because a certain perfume smells one way on one person it won’t smell like that on them. Our natural scent mixes differently and uniquely with each perfume. I had a co-worker love the Chanel mademoiselle on me. She went out and spent all that money on a perfume that 90% of people think smell like an old lady 😅 please ya’ll test these fragrances before spending all this money, cause Jackie is lavish and you know these some expensive scents ❤

@@LavishlyJackie I know sis. I was referring to those just starting a perfume collection or just wanting to try one of your recommendations. Common sense ain’t so common these days and there still are some people that don’t take into account how different perfume smells on different people
yup people ask me all the time what I'm wearing, go out and get it and tell me I lied to them about what I had on or that their perfume was probably expired/bad batch. Like no honey I layer my fragrances, oils, butters, lotions and underneath it all my own body chemistry will change the smell on me vs you...and these are people who buy and collect hella fragrances... but still forget that even what you wash your clothes with will mix with your perfume and come across hella different sometimes
Bvlgari fragrances are soo slept on, imo. They make some ✨divine✨ scents, definitely several that I’ve repurchased multiple times.

If you love tuberose you might like Nishane’s Tuberoza. The tuberose gives off a tropical banana scent but it’s not too sweet. It’s really unique in my collection 😊

- Gucci Flora Gardenia (makes a good base parfum)
- Fenty parfum (because I’ve been wearing it a lot with the VS one)
I agree that the Sol de Janeiro body spray should be a perfume. I had to go smell the Kayali pistachio fragrance again lol.
The Kayali vanilla perfume and the newest one (forgot the name) are on my list. I do have kayali’s Deja vu white flower hair & body mist and it smells amazing

My 100 silent ways purchase was 💯 % influenced by you- I legit blind bought a bottle after you said you bought it in Dubai, the way you described it SOLD me. I absolutely love it, it is more a fruity on me. Commodity milk is on my list ( loved my sample) , and cheirosa 71 smells so good. I love it in my hair. I’m going to just start ordering samples of anything you recommend because we are ALIGNEDDDD. 😂😂😂

@@jazzyw82 fragrance net, twisted lily, micro perfumes, scent split, fragrances line are a few. Commodity milk was bought on the retailer's website, they have a sampler of all their fragrances.

Top 5 had to be: Skylar Coconut Cove, Ellis Brooklyn Sun Fruit, Moroccan Oils Hair Fragrance, Kilian Love Don't Be Shy (my ride or die for years) and Myth by Ellis Brooklyn (my FAVE clean scent)

When you explained on IG why you don’t like Black Opium, it literally clicked for me. I have been gifted that perfume twice now and I just keep it in the packaging and gave it away. I hate that smell. But I traveled Istanbul and went to Nishane after you posted about it. I am kicking myself that I didn’t get the bigger size. I LOVE IT! My daily scent. It’s not too much but that tangerine comes through on me. Can’t wait to try the others!

Clean Reserve Skin is a great scent too that smells like skin after a bubble bath

pistachio gelato EATS GWORL. i didn’t like it at first but it’s SO INTERESTING. i’ve never smelled anything like it before and it made me like pistachio. it’s so lovely.
the way i’ve ran through 3 bottles going on to the 4th bottle of bubble bath 😭!!!

I still remember having Kayali doing a whole promotion for the Pistachio Gelato perfume at my workplace and I didn't like it that much but I also only smelled it from the bottle. i might give it a try if they have some sort of "discovery sets".
I do love you're showing us perfumes that are more for your perfume/fragrance enthusiasts and giving descriptions + notes because there are so many videos that talk about the same perfumes and they say how nice it smells and then you go to the department store and it smells nothing like others have described.
Perfum de Marly's Delina has me in a trance for the past couple months but if I had to pick a fragrance, it would have to be Sol de Janeiro's body sprays. It has changed my life completely in terms of learning to layer and I've never had so many complements in my life. They clearly are more focused in the body category since they are releasing more body sprays (the After Hours should be permanent IMO).
Sephora has a discovery set with kayali pistachio in it! I saw it online this morning :)

I do not know what happened in 2020, but a switch was flipped. I went from having a few fragrances ... And now ... I don't count 😂! But I try to keep it under 150-175.
Nishane is one of my favorite lines Period. Oolong Cha is solid for the warm weather, along with Ani, A hundred silent ways, and of course Hachivat ❤

Bvlgari perfumes are extremely underrated! I love goldea in the gold bottle (sadly discontinued and I cherish what I have left as finding a back up bottle is hard)

Hundred Silent Ways can be purchased from Bloomingdale’s if you want to get it from a department store. I purchased mine from Jomashop. It’s a beautiful scent but reminds me of a sweeter, fluffier Magnolia Blossom from Bath & Bodyworks. Unfortunately MB was discontinued years ago. HSW is a very safe blind buy for those who enjoy white florals. So much so that I was a tad disappointed. The packaging was fabulous though.

I am not a musky gourmand girl but…..Commodity Milk smells so good! My new fav scent. If you have sensitive skin it might be too strong for you but it eats down!

Hi Jackie. Do your scents ever go "bad"? You have so many gorgeous scents how do you rotate them all? Love you❤
Perfumes can last anywhere from 3-4 years, sometimes longer and if you keep it out of heat and direct sunlight you’re good to go! If a perfume were to go bad it will end up smelling more like alcohol, not necessarily bad, just not good lol.

Baciami is pretty, honestly I’ll wear it to the beach too 😅 warm lush gardenia and vanilla. And Cheirosa 71 is a winter staple for me and my favorite from the line. Second is Cheirosa 62 which I used to not like. I’ve demoted 40 into further notice lol.

OHHH girllll when you said Milk plus I am sitting here in bed after a fulllll day of work and still smell that amazing fragrance on my skin and in my hair! OHHH I love it! Lots of folks like the middle one but i love love love the extreme and so glad I blind bought it. ( very hard to get me to do so!) yet how it ends with a sophisticated woody note while still being gourmand is perfection!!! For me a winter all the way scent and perfect for this exact time of year! I too love a tobacco or woody note! I also adore the mens Bulvgari fragrances and I was thinking while you were talking about the fragrance that your man must love their watches being a watch guy! xx

Tuberose, patchouli and neroli are my notes…like I know if I automatically fall in love with a scent, it’s because it has one of the three of those. Like your candle Burr. OMG THAT IS THE ONE…and I bought it without reading the notes, I just liked the blue hue of the candle…😂then bam…I went searching your site for the notes and saw one was patchouli..tho I knew it lol. Loved this roundup. Perfume and scents in general are so personal and finding new ones to try is so fun! ❤

Yum Pistachio is one of my top perfumes of 2023 as well. I couldn't stop spraying it when I first got it.
Love your perfume content!! My top two are Blackbird Pipe Bomb and Prada Paradoxe. Two opposites haha - Paradoxe gives me 90s Betsey Johnson NYC boutique in SoHo, so i think its the nostalgia for me 😊

I smelled the Kayali Lychee perfume at Sephora and unfortunately it smelled like medicine on me😢 But I checked out her other scents, fully expecting the Pistachio one to be all hype. I was shocked by how much I love it as I don’t really do gourmand at all but that is a WINNER!

Funny enough I never heard a thing about the Pistachio Gelato but it definitely surprised me when I tried it at Sephora, I wasn’t going to purchase fragrance that day but it’s in my cart as a buy for sure. You described it perfectly.

My top five of 2023 are: Bianco Latte by Giardini di Toscana, Hundred Silent Ways by Nishane, Shooting Stars Apollonia by Xerjoff, Oudgasm: Vanilla Oud by Kayali, and Tears from the Moon by The Alchemist’s Garden.
