    what was that gods name that liked child sacrifices? I think it was canaan god...is canaan in mesopotamia?

      Moloch is the deity’s name according to Britannica. Canaan is not in Mesopotamia

      Catholics practiced child sacrifice for centuries, we just don't call it that, because they and their Protestant offshoots wrote the occidental history books and never would have painted themselves in such a negative light.

      @@HistoryExplained yes thats it ty ....i get confused with old names many encompass whst today we call a few diff countries canaan must be pallestine jordan area and meso must be iran iraq....moloch reminds me of think of baal...did you know in wikileaks hilarys uncovered emails she talks about sacrificing chickens to moloch...i think these religions are alive still and i dont thinkchickens mean what it sounds like

    Is Osnappar another name for Ashurbanipal? If so he is mentioned in the bible once in Ezra 4:10 and the rest of the nations whom the great and famous Osnappar deported and settled in the cities of Samaria and in the rest of the province Beyond the River.
