I have not seen this game since I was at the MCG that day. What a game, great commentary. Great days, great times, great memories. Serg was bog by a country mile that day.
If you want, up to you. I couldnt see the 2nd SF already online which was odd - and I had was this version missing the end. But I'm happy to take your 5min end on the back.
Looked up the stats for this match on AFL Tables site and it shows Jezza had 3 kicks, 4 marks and 1 goal so it would appear he played out the match very groggy. Interesting to look at the ladder for the 1968 season and it shows Richmond 14 wins from 20 matches, missing the finals. Brutal season to make the finals if you miss with such a record.
@shaundgb7367 They also missed by half a game in 1966, which made them more determined for 67. And weren't far away in 71 either. Some dynasty that cooda been even better.

Was there a welcome to country ceremony before the game?
I was just in primary school but it would have been a great decade to be following the footy. Nine of the twelve clubs made Grand Finals.
Mike Williamson was so good at calling a game
No. Much more innocent and enjoyable days. I miss the 1960's.
Rhett, I've got the last five minutes if you want it, happy to send it to you.

❤ the cover of the Footy Record at the start - 2 floating heads are better than one 😊

@shaundgb7367 Not sure.
But I have seen Jezza being interviewed after the match with his arm in a sling.
