    I have my Nimbus with the next setup: 4025 X-Nova 1080kv, 150 HW, 3x KST 915, KST 905X, 560mm RT, 95mm RT, Brain2, 4651T. I like this heli very much

    I’m just rocking the Beta egodrift 1050kv, Hw 120a, full size gdw servos 992,995. And it’s been rock solid. Zero problem and flys much more lighter than the raw

      It’s an awesome model! I’ve got a few flights in it so far. Very light feeling! Great power to weight!

    Very nice build. Murdered out electronics will look sick and that's one of the strongest motors I've ever flown in its class. That thing will smackdown 🚁💨💯💪🖤

      Thank you, I really like the murdered out look! It’s a great motor so far! Can’t wait to get more flights on it!

    Great build. I was on the fence beteen getting a nimbus 550 or raw 580. Got the 580 eventually because it can swing bigger blades. But looks like a great machine!

      I love my RAW 580, hands down my favorite heli ever made. The Nimbus is a great heli and fly’s great but I like the size of the RAW 580 more.

      It’s a great heli, the RAW 580 and Nimbus are about the same price to build.

    Very nice, I feel like this is more involved with more pieces that a sab. What the heck do I know, just enjoy watching these builds. I'll shut up now and just go back to my POS 120s. Hoping to get a Goosky or an OMP down the road. Are you going to do a review on the new OMP M4?

    • @westhobbiesrc8051
      @westhobbiesrc8051  Рік тому +1

      Thank you, it’s definitely more involved than SAB but a great kit! The Goosky S2 is my choice between the M2 and S2. I should be getting the M4 from a buddy to build.

    Hey Jeff I ordered those same servos for my new tron 700. I think they should be fine in a 700 size machine eh?

    • @westhobbiesrc8051
      @westhobbiesrc8051  Рік тому +1

      Oh yeah! The Torq servos will be perfect on a 700. I run them on a few 700s.

    Hey, I'm looking to build a Heli and need some advice. I'm going to get a Kraken 580 or a Raw 580 and I'm going to run them of 12s. Would TORQ CL1208 Mini servos be ok, or should I upgrade to something like a TORQ BLS2208 that you used in this build. Thanks!

    Hey man....quick question. I've had my swashplate lock up on my main shaft twice in roughly 150 flights. I use a fairly runny oil on my main shaft. Possibly my problem, and should be using micro lube? And, how often do you find yourself needing to reapply the microlube. And it's not too thick for the swash to slide up and down? And yes, it's a Nimbus 550.
    Always appreciate your help!
    Merry Christmas!
    Chris

      Hey Chris, Merry Christmas to you as well! Wow! Lock solid on the shaft? It could be the oil but that doesn’t happen to often, at least not that I’ve seen or heard. I use microlube on every heli! It’s great stuff. I normally redcoat every 70-80 flights or so. Really just depends on the heli. It stays better on some and less on others. Never had a problem of it being to thick, it coats the shafts nicely.

    that microlube stuff is pricey. It looks to be good stuff, not too thick or thin

      It’s not cheap but not expensive. I get it off Amazon for around $30 a tube. Last a while and best grease I’ve used this far. I recommend it.
