Krishna never advised to kill unbelievers,(kafirs) idolators( Mushrikeen)
Krishna's statement were never on basis of religion but on truth, Falsehood etc.
Quranic statements seems to be on basis of religion as it calls for fighting Polytheists,Idolaters,
Unbelievers of Islam.
Here lies the difference
At that time Mohammed S.W & his followers were going through war with mushriks (unbelievers) so it has said only for the particular time of war in the battle field and in the next sentence of quran it also says forgive & let them go if they want peace, so what's wrong in that.
And brother for ur another point it is not the war between kings or brothers, probably it's the war on the basis of religion itself it's d war between two communities believers & non believers so it quoted about mushriks (kafirs) who were attacking them already

Two Questions.
1.When you say that vesre was applicable only for that incident and period Many Islamic scholars say Quran is for eternity and all its statements are valid all the time.
There is no question of Time bar or Time limitation on any verse.Here lies the problems for Non muslims.
2.When you say next verse says leave them if they accept the fault and repent Quran does not define what is this repentance?
Hence Many interpret it as Repent by accepting Islam which is root cause for forceful conversions.
Just saying sorry is not accepted.
In History who was attacking whom there are different versions.
Even going by the Islamic version there is also the verse which defines How the defeated property to be divided among Muslims, their women beciming sex slaves,Men killed ir taken in as slaves.
Things are not that simple as one can believe.Is'nt it ??
@@bachhus yes quran is for eternity but it talks about some specific incidents which is only applicable at that thiem. And also if similar incicent happens it can be applicable.
Like in a war, the commander will tell his soldiers to kill the enemies in the battlefield but will never tell to take them to a safe place if they want peace. But the Quran says this
2nd repentence doesnt mean accept Islam only. It also means that they realized their mistake and so now they want peace.

1) their husbands, fathers are killed and they have noone to help them
But that doesnt means that you will rape them, no. Prophet Muhammad (Sm) didnt teach this. The women will stay a slave by name only but according to Islam, they will get proper food, shelter, clothing etc just like him. So naturally they cant be called slave rather they almost become a family member. Again in Islamic Terminology, slaves are not imprisoned. They can move freely. Have you ever seen a prisoner of war moving freely in thsi modern era and getting this type of treatment? Also if the slave gives birth to a child of his master, she is automatically free then. No money is nor needed at that time. But again if the slave only wants to have relationship, then it is possible

Whenever he won a battle and if muslim women were found by his troops with respect he used to free them and send them back to their custodians or relatives with respect and used to tell his soldiers that they are our sisters.

Yoh have interpreted that verses of Shreemad bhagvad geeta wrong. The situations were totally different. Bhagwan krishna asked the Arjuna to do so because Kauravas tried to threat the security and respect of women. And the second thing is that before the Mahabharata he(Bhagwan krishna) went to kauravas himself and said them that "according to justice Pandavas should have half of the state but you give them only 5 villages they would be satisfied with it". But Duryodhana(leader of Kauravas) insulted the Supreme lord Krishna and said that "I am not going to give even a land as equal as size of needle. Let the war decide the fate". But still lord krishna was not interested in participating the war for the sake of piece of land but for the insult of Draupadi(representing the entire women society). And when the Arjuna said that he would get himself killed unarmed, Lord krishna was happy and proud inside that Arjuna have moral values and have "Sanskar of Lord krishna". But it was the matter of protecting Dharma and dharma is all above anything in the world.
Please don't misinterpret the things...if you don't understand any verse or any part go and ask some Hindu scholars. Just don't make it up on your own.
You say that lord Krishna had a lots of reason behind saying that. Well that's what Dr. Zakir said. The Muslims had a lot of reason to fight against the mushrikhs of Mecca as well. They (mushrikhs of Mecca) broke the peace treaty and did many other things after that.
Ultimately both of these incidents had their own reasons. That's what Dr. Zakir is trying to say. He never said lord krishna did wrong. Nor did he say the war was unreasonable. He gave references of Bhagavad-Gita and compared it with the verses of the Quran. I don't see misinterpreting even after reading your whole comment

And i have a simple question, What is the need of taking instance of other religion's book? Doesn't quran itself have enough potential? That's what he did. He didn't degrade the religion. You really don't have a reason to get offended and i guess you didn't get the point.

Instruction of Mohammad is during His time only … (Excerpt from message of Shri Datta Swami)
The Quran says that a Muslim should protect even an enemy belonging to another religion. It says that a Muslim can tell about the teaching of Allah to the enemy and then leave the enemy in a protected place. It never says that religion should be spread by violence. It speaks about the war for justice, which is not the war for the propagation of religion. For that matter, the Gita was preached on a battlefield of a war that was fought for establishing justice. Even Bible says that the rigid fools who do not realize should be thrown to liquid fire, which is violence. Therefore, violence is not wrong. But the cause of violence should be perfectly justified.
When Mohammad came, there were three hundred religions, which were quarrelling among themselves with a lot of violence. He tried His best by preaching the concept of one God. There was no alternative way to subside the violence between them. Actually after Jesus, the concept of human incarnation was fully realized, but this concept was exploited by cheaters. Every fellow became a prophet and declared himself as the human incarnation. Their followers started preaching that their particular leader alone was the one God. You can easily imagine the situation at that time.
When violence is justified, it is called as the punishment given by God. If the violence is not justified, it leads to chaos due to egoism of a demon, which can be subsided only by divine punishment.
When Muslims followed Mohammad in His war for unifying the religions, it was justified because there was a clear divine instruction. Since Mohammad was the last divine preacher, now the war for justice need not be carried on because in the absence of the divine preacher there is every possibility of misunderstanding every situation thinking that it requires a war for justice. Therefore, the instruction of Mohammad was limited to that time because He was capable of deciding the correct requirement for war for justice.
Mohammad removed the concept of human incarnation because the effects of exploitation were severe in that time. Muslims should realize that human incarnation means that God enters the human body and not that God is modified into the human body. Mohammad objected only to a modification of God in to a human body. This is not condemning the concept of human incarnation. God only enters the human body and Mohammad himself was a human incarnation because God entered in to Mohammad and gave Quran. The Gita clearly says that God entered the human body (Manusheem Tanum Asritam…) and that God is not modified in to human body (Avyaktam Vyakti Mapannam…). The Bible also says that God is in flesh and does not say that God has become flesh. Thus, there is no difference between the three religions.

Krishna asked to fight to uplift dharma. And dharma is not religion , it is just rightfulness. The concept is religion is relatively new and it did not exist at the time of Krishna. Religion is a very new term.
Every great soul said things that is appropriate for that time and age, if we apply it directly without applying brain, we will be messed up.

I do not think that Zakir Naik's interpretation of Chapter 9 Verse 5 (or initial verses of Chapter 9 for that matter) is correct. In my view, what this verse (or these verses) discuss is something in general and not something specific to a certain event. What Zakir Naik has forgotten here (or does not know) is that unlike other religions Islam is not a religion sent for a particular group of people living in a particular period of time. The message in Quran is universal. If we accept Zakir Naik's interpretation then we will have to conclude that Allah will have to send (or is going to send) another messenger to remove this verse (or these verses) from Quran and Mohamed is not the last messenger.

But in mahabharat war fought for truth.
