Very helpful and thorough even for a beginner - thanks for this Mikael
learn in "ONLY" 30 min? are you kidding us ?
I no longer feel overwhelmed. Just knowing how to navigate will get my foot in the door. Thanks for the very clear explanations. Great tutorial.
I think my head exploded when you explained the fx.
What’s confusing it? Or are you referring that it’s mind blowing?
@@ps1hagrid689 mind blowing like its awesome
@@ps1hagrid689 both
I watched most of it on 2x, so I learned Omnisphere in about 17 minutes.
genius!
Give this man a medal
i watched it on 10x speed. i learned omnisphere within 3 minutes.
@@user-wk2gi5cp9y now give this man 5 medals
@@keerthivasanmanu I deserve 10 medals
Just purchased Omnisphere, great tutorial to get me going, thanks!
a great help ty!
Thank you for this, Mikael. Great tutorial.
Brilliantly explained, thank you for sharing
Thank you so much for this tutorial!
Really love the pacing you explain stuff, like every second is filled with useful content. Liked and subed.
This is awesome! Thanks for the quick crash course presentation!!
Great video. Really appreciate it!
Awesome, I bought Omnisphere over a month ago and was totally intimidated. Now I get it. Great presentation!!!!
Very informative video and straight to the point. I ordered omnisphere and should be getting it in the mail soon. Wanted to learn the vst before getting it so I wouldnt be overwhelmed. Again, thank you so much for this.
Very Valuable! 💜Thanks a bunch for taking the time to create this 🙏
Thank you for this great tutorial! I've been using Omnisphere for more than a year and always used the presets. I've never bothered "learning" about it until today! And let me tell you, this was the best 30 mins and the MOST I've learnt about Omnisphere! Definitely beneficial for those who already understand and have used Omnisphere before because Mikael puts everything nice and tight in a little box of information that will be FANTASTIC for all Omnisphere users; whether new or just for revision! Thanks Again!
I just bought this software yesterday
I´m super happy for having this powerful synth instrument now ¡
This is literally the BEST one in the world
It is the single most powerful plug-in I ever ever bought! :)
Sincerely
Mike
@@mikaelbaggstrom totally Worth it ! What do you think about this combo: Omnisphere 2 + BIAS Fx2 + EzDrummer 2?
I'm now learning from you on Skillshare and from Nico Astegiano on YT
@@BluessNRock Depends, EZ drummer is great if you want quick drum parts. I record all mine personally, and nothing beats Superior Drummer 3 from what I've tried for acoustic drum sets. I also love Addictive Drums 2 though. Bias is supposed to be amazing for guitar amps, but I don't have it myself.
@Unique_Dopebeats yes.
@@mikaelbaggstrom is Addictive Drummer good for chopping drum breaks or is it more single hits for a realistic “real” drummer sound? The reason I ask is bc I make Drum & Bass and I chop my drum breaks on the MPC but I’m looking for a good break chopper vst! 🤷🏻🖤🎶🔊
Great Video, thank you so much!
I don't found any tutorial in portuguese, but knowing a little bit of english I can now make my beats, thank you man !!!
Excellent overview. Tyvm! Cheers!
Thank u very much ! 👍
Thank you
THANK YOU!
You are awesome!
This Man Is a Omnisphere Wizard, Thank you!
Great video!
Thank you so much Mikael, this is fantastic. I echo the comments by most of the folks below. I have already making things better for me by taking out layers and simplifying the fantastic sounds inside Omni. I got my new computer recently and have decided to strip right down with Ominsphere and Komplete 13 (and Sylenth for instant 'give me' sounds) This is a huge help to get me what I need out of Omni. Cheers and Thank You again
great video. thank you for the help
Thanks a lot for this man!! Love you!
Thank you. Well explained. Can't wait to follow the series.
Thank you Richard, I know I went fast, but I really wanted to cover the "Complete Overview" in this first video. Then the video series will be more on point, meaning in detail of one aspect. I am sure you will enjoy at least some of those videos! =)
Sincerely
Mike
Thanx a lot man!!!

Great job
thanks
I feel ya bro. Thanks for all you have done. I watch your UA-cam tutorials as much to hear your accent as the clear and concise way you explain things. I have also purchased some of your online courses for the same reasons.
Thank you Lawrence, I truly appreciate it. And while I will probably do more courses in the future, I simply got to a point after all these years when I felt I have to follow my heart and have my youtube channel be my own creative outlet. To enjoy what I do, and don't care about views or anything. Just share my journey with the world, and hopefully some are inspired by it and support me. Who knows, this might be a new spark for my channel growth. =)
Suuuuper helpful and easy to understand. Thank you!!
Great info
Awesome
Thank you very much, Mike!! As always, great tutorial!

Absolutely great tutorial.

Nice introduction to this depth and fabulous synth
Glad it was helpful! =)
This tutorial is fantastic! I just got Omnisphere 2 recently and I have really leveled up by watching and applying these tips and tricks. Thank you!
❤
great content.
Many thanks Mikael! Super helpful ... it's like Omnisphere for Dummies! Very helpful
Thanks for teach me Omnisphere
Very good video Mike! I didn't know this about Omnisphere until now. And I've been using it from time ago, but always as presets that I modulate with external FXs. I am soo getting Omnisphere 3 when it comes out (already have 2.2 I guess, haven't updated to the free 2.5 because of many projects I have to render to publish.... I don't want to risk them until they are finished.
Mindblowing. Thanks for the breakdown.
Glad you liked it, and if you want to dive deeper into tips, and hidden gems of sound design in Omnisphere, check out my UA-cam Playlist: ua-cam.com/play/PLbvz3L5TqIywJKVRfFGcpIj2NDn7kyRl1.html
Mikael Baggström Excellent. Watching now - thanks.
GREAT
Nice. Now I just need Omnisphere
Thank you Mikey, this was great. I just got Omnisphere for my birthday 🥳 and your overview is excellent. I have done your Udemy Hybrid Orchestral course (which is also really good), so when I saw your video in my search results, I knew it would be good. I followed along (pausing and rewinding many times as I messed around) and ended up making an awesome patch (“instrument”) in the process.
omnisphere really easyyy when i watch your videoooo
I need to live to 100 just to scratch the surface of this thing!!! Thank you Mikael.
Hi Mikael. Not the first time I've watched one of your great walkthroughs, but this one.. oh my. A great presentation my friend. Thanks.
I love the way that Omnisphere is so deep, yet logically laid out and relatively easy to navigate; I could never get my head round the patching of the classic synths.
So, thanks again mate 😉
Glad you enjoyed it Matt, and thank you for the kind words! =)
Bra jobbat, stort tack! Härlig genomgång för någon som går från metal till edm.
Tack. Ah, nice, men man kan använda synthar i metal också. Dream Theater är ett bra exempel, även om det är mer progressive metal. ;)
