What majestic views of the mountains and glaciers on this gorgeous sunny day! What a ‘“pinch me, pinch me” moment to finally reach this dream destination
After watching tbis, I feel a need to lie down and rest. I am exhausted just thinking about trekking that distance in such a rugged and arduous region!
Hi guys! Spectacular videos! I watch them over and over again. I am doing the three passes in October. A question I have though is, when you get to these very remote areas and hiking for hours and hours and you feel the urgent need for number 2. How do you deal with that? Have you seen people having to have a poo out there in between the rocks? Is it accepted? For example, when I climbed Mt Kilimanjaro, on the way to the summit I was surprised by the amount of frozen human excrement, like a lot! but it is totally accepted, there's a good 8-10hs between Barafu Camp and the Summit
Hi Carlos! You are going to love it out there! No need to worry about pooping in the woods on the Three Passes trek. One of the many joys of trekking in the Himalaya is the teahouse culture. They are abundant and always ready with a hot cup of tea and food or snacks. They all have restrooms that will be available to you. You will also see some random outhouses available to you along the trail. Be sure to bring your own toilet paper as none is provided. If you run out, all teahouses have rolls for sale. I hope this helps!
Wow that has been
