I have a question about what to use to get the soap scum out of a bathtub.
Have you ever tried a magic eraser to remove soap scum?
Do you think it might work?
I have tried a lot of cleaning products, but seem to only come away with a headache after using them, since I am very sensitive to strong odors.
I've also heard that a lemon and table salt will remove soap scum.
I've also tried vinegar.... YUCK!
What could I use that won't have a strong odor?

@@susancox9717 YES to the magic eraser!! I have used one plenty of times in my tub when there gets a little ring of build up around it and it really helps. Havent tried the lemon and table salt one in the bathroom yet! I completely agree about the cleaning products giving a headache especially bathroom ones! My husband used lysol on our shower grout the other day and oh my gosh both of us had horrible headaches! If you don't like the smell of vinegar but like the cleaning power you can infuse it with some citrus fruit and let it sit and/or add some essential oils.

I have to ask, does your Mom follow you online? You were open enough to share that when you were growing up your Mom would be frustrated when you would bake and leave the cleanup until the end-kudos to your full disclosure there! Question for bath takers: how do you wash your hair in the tub? I feel like it would be a pain to rinse out shampoo. I’ve always been curious. If I take a bath, I shower after just to wash my hair. There has be a better way than what I’ve been doing. Thanks!
I just still use the faucet! It probably requires a little extra bending haha. Growing up my mom's tub had a shower head attachment and it was the best!!

I always find it interesting how the younger generation doesn't use water to rinse stuff off instead just use spray and a microfiber cloth. Or you didn't even rinse the mop in different areas of your bathroom, I would've rinsed it after mopping the toilet area before going onto the general area. I'm not saying that you're not cleaning, I am just stating an observation...

I second that!!! I always, always rinse with water, otherwise one just moves the dirt around and cross-contaminates. I guess we are just more perfectionistic in that regard. ☺️
@@steph4369 I think because it's a "disinfectant" they are thinking that everything is ok but like you said it's just cross contaminating. Also, if you don't rinse it still leave a film on whatever you clean.
