DENNIS, WHY IS IT I FIND A BIG PHYSICAL SMILE ON MY FACE, EVERY TIME I WATCH YOUR FABULOUS Y T ?? ! WHY ? NEVER EVER LET DOWN, AS ALL OF YOUR RENDERINGS ARE CLEAN, RESPECTABLE AND WHOLESOME ! THANKS DENNIS ! YOU AND YOURS ARE CLASS ACTS !
Dennis, I remember the very vehicle that I learned to drive a 3 on the tree in. My grandfather had a 1968 Jeep Wagoneer with a Vigilante AMC 327 V8 in it with a 3 speed on the column. I was 14 years old and he would let me drive it around the block all I wanted. Man, those were the days. I wished we still had it because it might be worth something these days. Great video.
Totally correct regarding the Howell TBI system. That company’s kit has already been approved by State of CA. I have it on my 85 CJ and it passed smog. The other benefit is that the carburetor just doesn’t work well anymore, and the Howell system makes the engine run like a top…no sputtering etc. But you have to go to a shop that has done lots of conversions, if you don’t do it yourself. Even by an experienced mechanic it’s a 12 hour job to remove old parts and install new parts, including a new ECU.
We ate at the Fords Garage in St Pete, Florida. Their attention to detail in the decor was fantastic! My wife, who is not a car person, even liked it!!
Just got my two bags of the Holy Grail blend, still finishing my bag of Bikini Blend (whole bean), but can't wait to try it!! Keep up the great work Team Collins!!
Thank You for a great coffee walk Dennis! Enjoyed it! My Granddaughter is wanting me to find her a Jeep! I am reluctant! But she is 17 and started driving bikes and cars around 8!
Dennis you and your crew are amazing. Would of loved to work for you back when I could work. Still hope to meet you some day. Need to get one of your shirts autographed.
Man I’d do just about anything for one of those 8 Jeep’s or one like it. My best friend Vance got me into Jeep’s in 9th grade and ever since I’ve just become more and more appreciative of them. One day I’ll have one.
I'm only kidding when I say the video begins at 15.37.I enjoy Dennis' passion for all vehicles.Kelsey and the 2 Fords at the end did steal the show.IMHO.
I also learned to drive three on the tree in a Chevy pickup but a '48. The Collins father and daughter look slimmer and trimmer and I can't understand why when they eat so much high calorie bar food. Another one of life's mysteries.
Cup of joe.. not even Kofi to drink. I was hollyday there and drink cup of Joe..and if you come from Europe you will call that pis water. But I love Dennis episode
The crowning achievement, and what I really enjoy about your videos aside from the incredible vehicles you showcase Mr. Collins, Is the awesome food from the local establishments that you visit! Keep up the good work you do sir! 👍
in 1978 , when I was a 12-year-old kid my brother-in-law had a V8 CJ 4 speed. it was brown black interior black soft top. he put headers on it and slotted mags with fat tires. total 70s vibe. it was really cool!
That chain originated in Ft. Myers where they had to ask the Ford family to use the name. We also have a restaurant named “Firestone’s” and a bar called “Edison’s”. All 3 men were best friends and had homes in Ft. Myers.
Dennis your new nickname is Cal Worthington. You are by far an OG classic. And all your minions are that your dog spot and the striped tiger that he had on the lot. 🇺🇸👍🤣🤣
I like the clear coat to preserve the paint patina and the the Black CJ is a complete eye popper, Fords was amazing love the car theme throughout now, when are we gonna meet MOM?
I had a Golden Eagle model as a kid that took me forever to build and man i loved that thing until bottle rockets took it the great jeep graveyard in the sky ,,,,, Texas Style of course !!!
I normally only buy blue, silver or black vehicles, sometimes red. But for some reason I like all the colors on these jeeps. I want to buy a CJ here in the next couple months and I definitely want that mandarin orange with those decals! That is awesome. I’m curious how some other color interior would look though!
All great looking Jeeps. I’m a fan of the Grand Cherokee Chief. 401 baby. I was about to argue on the 87 Chevy until I googled the 3 on the tree. I had no clue they made them till then. Only came in 1/2 ton and 2wd. Thanks Dennis. Another great episode.
I’m gonna try your HOLY GRAIL COFFEE!!! 👍🤠👍 I had an 89’ YJ Sahara that I bought brand new in Manassas Virginia…..(whole nother story as I’m from Texas) I wish I still had that square eyed beauty!!! She was sooooooo much fun. It didn’t have AC though which was a little rough when I came back to Texas. I traded her in on a brand new 93’ Ford F-150 4x4 😢……Seems like a lifetime ago!!
I had a CJ5 Golden Eagle , green and gold V8 . I can’t remember the year but I would guess around 1980 , not the best daily driver, but loved it on the weekends
Awesome range of Jeeps the three with original paint turned out beautiful.👌👍😎🇦🇺 Kelsey didn’t seem her normal self looked like she had her mind elsewhere 🧐
Thank you for another shop tour. Doggone it Dennis, your show has me looking at CJ's on BaT. Lol Have you eaten at the YO Ranch Steakhouse in Dallas? Absolutely OUTSTANDING food. 👍👍
So I really was digging the windshield sticker yall had on the CJ collection... I have a 09 Wrangler X that sports that sticker now! I sure had a hard time getting it off the paper though!
I was with Jeep for 20 years and never had a boss or shop like that. I’d be in my glory with all those CJs.
