Do you know where I can find a manual for this - I don't see one on Kulp's website ? Can you show how it's setup in xlights and how you assign props to the ports. Also the setup if you are using differential receivers (can they be in smart mode or not)?
Merry Christmas and greetings from Germany. I'm planning to do a light show next year and am now checking out a lot of channels to see what's possible. Do I understand correctly that I can control 266 RGB pixels from each port with this board? So a total of 2128 pixels with the board?
@@gregmacaree The limit is 5A per port. Right? At 12V and 0.5W that would be 125 pixels per port. Do I understand that correctly? Can I connect a second power supply as a boost where V0 is connected to increase the current?
I can't find a solid answer elsewhere; I have 3 Falcon PiCaps today that I would love to swap out for this; but they are all running on older RPi 3B, not 3B+. Is 3B+ the minimum hardware that will work? Seems like the Processing is basically the same.
HELPFUL TIP!!!!!!!!!!! if you turn on your controller with the pi plugged in and the outputs stay on after boot and the pixels wont do anything you have to go to the output setup and check the box that says "enabled" cause for some reason its disabled by default

No, 800 pixels per port at 40fps.
@@gregmacaree So 800 rgb pixels per port? That is a lot😯

Can you get the GPIOs to work? I am not having any luck wanting to trigger a relay
Awesome video so I had to buy it today. Will you do a video about expansions to this and do's and donts please?

Hi, the 3B+ increased the core speed and improved the Ethernet & Wifi. Your 3B will work just fine.
Great Greg thxs 👍

How many A kan the e fuse have
They're rated at 5A, same as the fuses on the earlier boards.
