She's such a talented actress, and equally adorable. That scene where she breaks down, really got to me too. She conveyed actual such grief/remorse in a way that did not seem like acting, it was just so honest. I was glad that her character finally came clean.
My most beloved moments of Kim’s character (besides the crying scene that was shown here) are the ones where she burst a little laugh. Like when she recognized how Jimmys pupils had widen up when testing the drugs in the vets room.
The scene where she goes off on Howard in his office after he told Jimmy that he thought Chuck committed suicide was also incredible acting and a very powerful scene.
The way she spits out the word "fun" in "Because I was having too much FUN!" and the response to the only exchange of I love yous of, "I love you, too, but so what?" were absolutely devastating.
I was disappointed. Great acting, but terrible ending for both of them. Saul could have found redemption without being locked up for the rest of his life.
@@human199586 I’m aware of that. Full responsibility could have been taken without 86 years in prison. Jesse took full responsibility in BB. The audience cheered when he flew to freedom. Atoning for your sins can be accomplished in other ways. After several years of watching both BB and BCS, I felt cheated with that ending. Finely acted, to be sure, especially from Rhea, but the screen faded to black and I felt unsatisfied, unlike BB. It is what it is. I understood it. I just didn’t approve of how it was delivered.
I wanted him to get away with it but wow what an ending. The final shot did it for me.. saul saying bye at the gate in his own unique way. Heartbreaking. The whole time machine subject was brilliantly written. Good to see some old faces too.
You don’t often see actors make their big breakout when they’re 50. Before BCS the only thing I’d ever seen Rhea on was a short-lived Whitney Cummings sitcom from the early 2010s. It’s good seeing her get some recognition.
@@grahamstrouse1165 I'm with her, when she played the sister of an actress who dated a teacher. She's stunningly beautiful for a 50 year old. "She's a looker aayyy"
Rhea hits the nail on the head. The show is a revenger’s tragedy. Saul/Jimmy/Gene , Kim, even Gus, Lalo, Nacho, Hector… they are driven by revenge. As Nacho’s father says, “that’s not justice, that’s revenge.” All of these characters seek revenge for perceived wrongs, however vague, and destroy themselves pursuing it.
@@eileenumana Yes. And we had some foreshadowing when this one pure character pleaded with his son, Nacho, to turn himself in to the police. But Nacho never did. It turns out Jimmy was the one in the end... the only one of all the MANY players in this whole tragedy of the BB/BCS saga... to actually speak the truth and "purify" himself in an actual court of law. It's the exact opposite of what he had been doing for so many years of his life. It is poetic. If not for Kim, he never would have done it. He fell on the sword for her. But he discovered that it brought him a great deal of peace that he never would have had otherwise.
It reminded me of the scene in Unfaithful when Diane Lane's character Connie Sumner reflects on her dalliance with Paul Martel earlier in the day. She was riding a train. Both amazing reactions.
I know people love the bus scene and it's great, but Rhea holding the phone and listening to Gene/Saul and then blurting out "I'm glad you're alive" is master class and she deserves an Emmy for those four words.
The finale was actually amazing - the best writing of any finale I know. It literally turned the series into a love story. As it begins to appear that Jimmy doesn’t even care about Kim and it looks like he is cold bloodedly going to betray her, you start forming the opinion that he is a true sociopath and you actually, as the audience, feel betrayed and start to hate Jimmy. I lost all my warm feelings about the character and then when it turns out that he sacrifices himself for her, the emotions you feel are sadness and joy and relief. Truly amazing writing and acting. Bugger the Emmy - you should get Oscars for that episode!
Huh? It never looked like he didn't care about her or would betray her. Literally never. The audience always knew he never stopped caring about her. Kim was wondering if he would, but deep down I think she knew he wouldn't.
I finally watched and finished the series the other day. Wow! Seehorn absolutely killed it! Kim Wexler is one of the most interesting and complex characters I've ever seen on a show and she played her perfectly.
I've gone very far to care about characters in television shows but never this far with these two. In my opinion Better Call Saul is one of the most profound stories ever to be put on television and I'm grateful to have been along for the ride.
I don’t think I’ve ever fallen in love with a TV character as much as I fell in love with Kim Wexler. Rhea Seehorn was a revelation from the beginning and just kept adding more layers and complexity as the seasons progressed. The fantastic Bob Odenkirk/Jimmy/Saul may have been the show’s beating heart but Rhea/Kim was its soul. She was able to express as much with a facial expression, body language, and a quip as Jimmy/Saul did with all the talking the character is famous for. Best of luck to Rhea and Bob at the Emmys and thanks for the 6 seasons of incredible entertainment.
We are so lucky for being alive and had the chance to watch one of the greatest series of all times. A lot of people were expecting an explosive finale like in BB, but that's cause they never really paid attention to the show. The finale was exquisite, a true masterpiece.
I just realized that it's so hard to not see them as Jimmy and Kim, because they did play their role so goddamn authentic. Chapeau to both of you und all you're co actors and Vince. You did an excellent job.
Best cinematography ever, and so overlooked. On a par with the acting and the script. BCS is also a masterclass in team building, in order to achieve beyond what has gone before.
Rhea is the best of us and it goes to show that there’s so much hidden talent out there, being that she was supposed to be a secondary side character and earned her way into being the centerpiece of the final season through pure talent. The same thing happened with Aaron Paul, it’s great.
They both deserve Emmys considering they have been snubbed for the last 5 seasons and considering Bryan constantly having won. The whole show deserves one
The bus scene with Kim and when Lalo shows back up to their apartment is such great acting. Bob and Rhea made it feel like the characters are actual people
Watching Bob and Rhea on a talk show together is like watching Viktor and Giselle on a talk show together. Bob just sits back and allows Rhea to charm the pants off the host, while kicking in a quip every now and then.
The entire cast was fantastic. Rhea, Bob, Michael McKean as Chuck, Michael Manda as Nacho, Giancarlo Esposito as Fring, Tony Dalton as Lalo, Jonathan Banks as Mike, Mark Margolis as Hector. It goes very deep. Great show. The Emmys are another garbage award show. The true award/reward was watching them act in a terrifically told story.

“Better Call Saul” was magical from start to finish. They created something that lived on its own and would have been a great show even if it didn’t tie into “Breaking Bad”. I can’t say that about many other spin-offs.
Correct. Did not necessarily need B B to be interesting . The whole story from the beginning was stellar . Do not forget “ Mike and his skullduggery as the other major storyline . @@MedalionDS9 Even after seven years, Peter can’t get out from under Vince’s shadow…and it’s the “fans’” fault for being plain ignorant. 🤷🏾♂️

@@BigMek667 i didnt say that. I said that op was presenting his comment as an analysis and that he was complimenting rhea for all these things, when in reality vince giligan had a recent interview said this guys comment almost verbatim, except that vince said that that was their intention, therefore it was the writers who we have to thank for future kim’s indeciciveness, rhea just brought it to life and sold it. This guy tried to make it seem like this analysis was his original idea, when vince stated everything he said lmao.
This show is so different from any other show to come along in a very long time.
Yes ever since the likes of Lost and BB this show is a rare gem! I will definitely miss it and very touched by it.

They NEED to get showered with awards - the finale was grandiose
I was disappointed. Great acting, but terrible ending for both of them. Saul could have found redemption without being locked up for the rest of his life.
@@kbm-zw5jd bro how 💀 the entire ending went right over your head
@@kbm-zw5jd That's the whole point of the ending: there is no redemption for you unless you get full responcibility of your action.
I love that Rhea gave a genuinely insightful look into achieving her performance and didn’t just make a joke and push it aside like most would
I hope Rhea's career gets a Bryan Cranstonesque boost!!! Also those Emmy noms are so long overdue and hopefully a win is imminent.
You don’t often see actors make their big breakout when they’re 50. Before BCS the only thing I’d ever seen Rhea on was a short-lived Whitney Cummings sitcom from the early 2010s. It’s good seeing her get some recognition.

@@Sneakyrat_Gaming a man of culture, are we?
Rhea hits the nail on the head. The show is a revenger’s tragedy. Saul/Jimmy/Gene , Kim, even Gus, Lalo, Nacho, Hector… they are driven by revenge. As Nacho’s father says, “that’s not justice, that’s revenge.” All of these characters seek revenge for perceived wrongs, however vague, and destroy themselves pursuing it.
Wow, super good perspective. The one "pure" character saying "that's not justice, that's revenge" is a testament to the whole shows message really.
She should have already won an Emmy for her performance in season 4, that scene when she confronts Howard... Chills
exactly. and then in season 5 when she confronts Lalo.
Both of them should win Emmys.
Kim's bus scene was one of the best of the whole show, easily. On par with Chuck's courthouse monologue and other fantastic scenes. Man what a show.
Ya, it gave u whole episode flashback when she cried .dayuuum whole thing
@TETCOM.X files? Really put that show in the same sentence as BB and BCS🤨
@@josiahgonzalez942um yeah, since Vince Gilligan and Thomas Schnauz wrote for all three of them. Why would you even comment such an asinine question?
It reminded me of the scene in Unfaithful when Diane Lane's character Connie Sumner reflects on her dalliance with Paul Martel earlier in the day. She was riding a train. Both amazing reactions.
I know people love the bus scene and it's great, but Rhea holding the phone and listening to Gene/Saul and then blurting out "I'm glad you're alive" is master class and she deserves an Emmy for those four words.
Yes her tonation is so good in that phrase
The tension!
Yeah
I could have not said it better.
I got goosebumps when I heard her say those words.
He actually sacrificed himself to Lalo in a previous episode as well........
Absolutely love seeing these two. Especially when Al Franken finally stops to let them talk.
I love Al Franken - but ask them a question and then let them answer!!
*sees an actor act* HOW DID YOU DO THAT
Both were phenomenal and deserve every ounce of recognition.
Where has this actress been, damn she kept me glued to the TV through this series.
Rhea is a) insanely talented, b) unbelievably gorgeous, and c) extremely sweet. All I can say is wow, her fiancé is lucky.

A lot of people were expecting an explosive finale like in BB, but that's cause they never really paid attention to the show. The finale was exquisite, a true masterpiece.
What a heartwarming show, what talented actors and what elegant creators.
I just realized that it's so hard to not see them as Jimmy and Kim, because they did play their role so goddamn authentic. Chapeau to both of you und all you're co actors and Vince. You did an excellent job.
Rhea is hands down the best actress I’ve ever watched. I love her so much. She’s so talented is ridiculous.
An absolutely brilliant show. Most satisfying ending, from the cinematography to the acting just a masterpiece
The carrot and stick episode blew me away. Fell in love with her. I'm glad they ended the way they did.
Walt had a scene with Saul, while Kim bumped a cigarette to Jesse. I thought it was a very nice touch.
They both deserve Emmys considering they have been snubbed for the last 5 seasons and considering Bryan constantly having won.
The whole show deserves one
What a beautiful talented human Rhea is...she deserves an Emmy ❤
Seriously, Rhea Seehorn performed the greatest crying scene in the history of cinema or television ever
everything has to be most, greatest, ever, top whatever nowadays. Just... no. Appreciate it, move on, no need to constantly rank performances for the gods
Ozark is the one show holding them back; hopefully BCS conquers it!

“Better Call Saul” was magical from start to finish. They created something that lived on its own and would have been a great show even if it didn’t tie into “Breaking Bad”. I can’t say that about many other spin-offs.
True
Yes, that was its biggest strength. It was a great show on its own merits.
Correct. Did not necessarily need B B to be interesting . The whole story from the beginning was stellar .
Do not forget “ Mike and his skullduggery as the other major storyline . All his scenes together with the “ Cartel gang were worthy of a one hour show themselves .
He could certainly have a shot of a series of his own .
She should win something, her performance this season especially gave me goosebumps.
Rhea is amazing.
They are both gonna keep going on do amazing things in the future. Such an amazing series and just brings a greater appreciation for each of the series.
Rhea's acting performance Better call Saul is amazing!
I think everyone who have experienced significant loss and tragedy can related to her in the bus scene, the explosion of uncontrollable feelings, but how often do you feel that way? Maybe a handful of occasions in your entire life? To be able to do that on demand is phenomenal, and be able to dissect it like she did in this interview, what a great actress!

Brilliant, Rhea and Bob blew my mind. One of the very best shows ever.
Best show I've ever seen, they should get Emmys
Her scene on the tram is one of the best I have seen on TV all year. That alone is Emmy worthy. Seeing her do that in a long, uncut scene was amazing.
The last episode (and well, all the show actually) is a masterclass on microexpressions. Take the hearing. Everyone were nailing the little nuances that helped elevate that moment to "best television ever" material.
Btw some of my favourite moments are of Kim and Jimmie brushing teeth together and bonding over classic movies.
It was a roller coaster of a series and I loved every minute, thank you Rhea and Bob and Mr G.
She's amazing. I never hated any move or decision she made in the whole series.
She and Bob are amazing.
That scene is probably one of the top masterclasses in acting ever. She was just impeccable in the show.
That scene is brilliant! That scene must be in the first page of a book called Introduction to acting. What an actress she is!!!!!

A Masterpiece, the last seen between them has got to be the best heart-touching expression ever of both jimmy and kim.
Better Call Saul for me is the best show out there in many ways, from the script, the acting, the cinematography, to the complexity of the story and the characters, etc.
I heart Rhea, soo talented & a classy natural beauty. While watching ep 12 & the scene where Kim breaks down sobbing on the airport shuttle, ( 2:08 )

Hah .. I also wept .. and I'm a man born in 1962 who does not cry.
Honestly if I had read even a correct guess at the ending I would have already processed it .. to come up with an unexpected ending that does not seem contrived is such a testament to the quality of writing. The tears weirdly came as Saul handed over the cigarette.
