I seriously hope she wins an Emmy
hey its the terraria guy
yoooo i knew you’d have good taste in tv
both deserved !
Extremely common ChippyGaming W
Yeah, she absolutely killed it again this season and deserves it!
Wexler made the series real. She humanized Jimmy and gave him life, connected him to the world and his own brother. Rhea is amazing.
Show really is a love story and i like that it took me awhile to understand that
True
Kim also made Jimmy's life worse, that was one of the reason she left him, if it wasn't for her a lot of Jimmy's plans would be frustrated and he would just do his thing
Well said! 👌
I would definitely marry her. What’s her IG?
The idea that Rhea is 50 is absolutely astounding to me. Not only does she look young, she has this extremely youthful energy about her.
100%
She eats very plant based mainly I think

Rhea BETTER get an Emmy for that bus scene alone!!! BRAVO 👏🏾
Love u my dude🤞🏼
only for that?
That scene was in the second half of the season, I've heard the Emmy nomination is only for the first half. The second half would be next year.
Which bus scene? Can't remember
@@mysteriousbillionaire7349 the scene in the video, where she is on the bus
Rhea Seehorn was just unbelievable in this show
i thought she was very believable! she is a very amazing and immersive actress.
You’re unbelievable
Ridiculous that she hasn't even gotten an Emmy nomination until this year, let alone a win - and it will be even more ridiculous if this year she doesn't win!
She better win the Emmy.
a star IS born
Rhea explaining the crying scene was really interesting. It's rare that an actor gets asked a question about how they pull off a scene like that and they give a straight answer and not a jokey answer. The way she explained it is so brilliant I can actually understand exactly what she means.
Yes! I also love that Al left room for that authentic answer. So many hosts look for a moment to make a joke, and it was really great to just listen to her.
I'm a big fan of the show.
But for me that crying scene was not her best acting moment.
@@SB-od9sl you're SO wrong
@@SB-od9sl It's always a scene that gets more attention. She straddled the line between real/maudlin deftly.
When she was sitting in court, with her leg 'jumping' like she was back at the dept. store as a child caught shoplifting was just as effective, to me.
@@SB-od9sl it was great, but I thought her saying “I’m glad you’re alive” while barely maintaining her composure during their phone call earlier in the episode was even more effective.
Kim Wexler is one of the best written and performed roles I’ve ever seen on TV. Just phenomenal for six years. Unreal.
She's an exceptional addition to the Breaking Bad universe, a polar opposite of Skyler White lol. She knocked it out of the park.
@@vayce2970 shows just one huge lesson they learned from BB and that was to write women characters better.
@@vayce2970 wouldn't say polar opposite. Skyler kept her and husbands crimes to herself but at the end blurted stuff out when her " conscience" got to her. Kim did something similar in my opinion . Kim and jimmy were both accomplices and after all the havoc was wreaked . She then conveniently gets a conscience and revealed everything to howards wife.
@@AliHamza-sv4ni Sorry I meant that Kim is a great character that everyone loved whereas Skyler everyone hated lol
@@vayce2970 don't know why though. Like she was a karen at the start but later she played along with whatever walt did till the end.
I love the fact that their personalities are opposite from the show. Jimmy is always colorful and joyful, while Kim is relaxed and usually more serious. In real life Bob is the chill type and Rhea is so full of joy and smiles.
This in my opinion shows how good an actress and actor they are, love them.
Yes, it really shows how good they are.
Bob was crazier in his Mr. Show days
@@roddydykes7053 his performance in the hanged man sketch on that show is hilarious
Also Bob survived a heart attack so probably why he is less energetic now
The actor who played Tuco is actually very chill and soft spoke. A HUGE contrast to his character.
The magic of Rhea Seehorn's performance isn't in the big, showy, "actor" moments so much as the understated, natural, silently powerful approach she takes to playing Kim. It doesn't feel like a performance, it feels like watching a real person. She's just masterful at the wordless acting and subtle micro-expressions that elevate the character and material beyond what's in the script. It's time the Emmys recognize that sort of performance rather than just reduce an actor's work to the loudest, flashiest moments. It's one thing to deliver a big, emotional monologue, but it's something else entirely to disappear into a role as completely as she does.
Exactly
Well said. Totally accurate 👏👏
I'm so desperate foor more of her work I'm watching the Whitney Cummings sitcom she was on 10 years ago
Spot on.
and face acting. BCS and BB just seem to have an endless line of brilliant face actors. on one end you have Bryan Cranston and his big animated face acting, on the other you have Rhea and her controlled subtle nuanced face acting. in both cases the characters tell you everything you need to know without saying a word
I miss this show already

Yeah but... what will the creators do next? That's kinda exciting.
At the end Jimmy only cared about how he looked through Kim's eyes...It was poetic as he returned to his humanity. And bittersweet. Perfect ending for a near perfect show. They never disappointed.
Seeing Bob truly makes me realize and appreciate the de-aging makeup and other techniques they've used on the show. Mind-blowing dedication from the costume and makeup department.
Keeping in mind he had a near-fatal heart attack after his second JibJab, I think he looks like a million bucks and I'm super glad he is still with us!
and hair
He died on set though. Him being alive now is enough. Why should we care if he looks old or not? Plus, for a guy in his 60 who came back from death, he looks as healthy as ever.
Plus, Bob has A LOT MORE hair than Gene Takovic. Dude literally wore a bald cap in filming.
@@nont18411 because the character is not 60 years old so he shouldn't look 60.
Who would have thougth that Better Call Saul would end up one of the best love stories ever told.
Ikr people may descibe it as a crime thriller, lawyer drama, cartel politics etc. But to me ultimately it's a love story
Yeah, it has so many layers. Fantastic show altogether.
All jimmy wanted was love
@@umarabdaziz760 a good and tragic one
And without scene sex, languorous kiss or cheesy moments. It's beautiful..
If someone starts sobbing uncontrollably like that on a bus, you know they are at rock bottom. It’s a perfect summary of the tragedy that is Kim’s story.
Yes
Perfect
I felt like that scene was so real as i had someone next to me one day on the bus cry and it was a total stranger it felt so similar to that situation. the woman touching her back to comfort her reminded me of myself offering the stranger a napkin and another person asking her if she needed help
I agree. I saw a grown man do that in a McDonald's one day when I was kid. He was sitting by himself looking off into the distance crying like that bus scene. I was eating my happy meal trying to make it sense of it. Maybe rock bottom
@@wissembellara6411 you must’ve had chills huh
I love how Bob is so supportive of Rhea. She stole the show and he is so happy for her.
Kim's cry, for me, was more than real. Flashed back to March 9, 1983, when I'd pulled my car to an intersection and put it in park, and broke down. Right there. Nearly collapsed, realizing that day would have been my younger brother's 21st birthday, had he not committed suicide three years earlier. Couldn't hear all the horns honking, was white-knuckling the steering wheel, don't remember what I saw, if anything -- just sat there, totally breaking down for the first time since his death.
When I watched her in that episode, my entire being was transformed. I had been there, done that -- EXACTLY THAT. Well done, Rhea.
im so sorry to hear that-hope you are okay
If they both don't get Emmys the Emmys are dead to me.
Rhea should get one for acting - she doesn't have any Emmys to my knowledge. (I think Bob has two so far.)
They both should.
And he gets to be an award, WHAT A SICK JOKE

The Emmys are already dead. The way they ignored shows like Wire , Leftovers & Mr Robot
Still in pain about the finale. Masterpiece of a series.

Yes, I feel like I had a breakup. I had the same feeling when Breaking Bad ended.
Amazing shows, thanks to the teams, I've enjoyed the ride so much!
Honestly I'm glad it didn't end up sappy. Left satisfied. It's ok when things end
Id watch a spin off of Jimmy building his prison empire
The "new" Kim living in Florida absolutely surprised me! She was so different from Kim Wexler the badass lawyer, the fact that now she couldn't make a single decision and lived such a plain life, it was such a stark contrast and Rhea nailed it with her amazing skills!!! She became two different characters.
I also love how detailed she was about explaining the crying scene, you rarely hear that from actors, it was very insightful she should teach acting!
She basically went and got together with someone who is the complete opposite of Saul. To make sure that bad side of her never comes to the surface again.
ngl, that part broke me. She went on such an ordinary life and it was gloomy and bland but somewhat peaceful...but thats not what i wanted from her T_T
She adopted that life as a way to punish herself as well. She subjected herself to boredom as a form of penance.
My most beloved moments of Kim’s character (besides the crying scene that was shown here) are the ones where she burst a little laugh.
Like when she recognized how Jimmys pupils had widen up when testing the drugs in the vets room.
The scene where she goes off on Howard in his office after he told Jimmy that he thought Chuck committed suicide was also incredible acting and a very powerful scene.
I love how Rhea portrayed "future kim" as a woman who will not make any decisions or commit to any action, even so far as she won't recommend a restaurant to a friend for fear of the repercussions.
That wasnt an original observation u pointed out. U know damn well vince giligan said what u said almost word for word, and it was due to the writing, not Rheas performance. Rhea just acted out the portrayl written.
@@josechamu240 And people need to stop keep only citing Vince for this show... Better Call Saul the show is showrun by Peter Gould, so these major arcs would be going through him... Vince has contributed some things and directing but it's still Peter's show... but people keep only thanking Vince.

I said that op was presenting his comment as an analysis and that he was complimenting rhea for all these things, when in reality vince giligan had a recent interview said this guys comment almost verbatim, except that vince said that that was their intention, therefore it was the writers who we have to thank for future kim’s indeciciveness, rhea just brought it to life and sold it. This guy tried to make it seem like this analysis was his original idea, when vince stated everything he said lmao.
Rhea is one of the most realistic actors I've ever seen. Not one moment of the show did I ever think to myself "this is scripted". She's brilliant.
It’s a tv show. Of course, it’s scripted.
@@kneecage3236 yeah but the fact that the show makes you forget that is admirable, that should be one of the main goals of any show that wants to be taken seriously
Well said
She's an incredibly naturalistic actor, and she's helped of course by brilliant writing and great directing and editing, as well
i thought "this is scripted" every time she talked
She should have already won an Emmy for her performance in season 4, that scene when she confronts Howard... Chills
exactly. and then in season 5 when she confronts Lalo.
Rhea hits the nail on the head. The show is a revenger’s tragedy. Saul/Jimmy/Gene , Kim, even Gus, Lalo, Nacho, Hector… they are driven by revenge. As Nacho’s father says, “that’s not justice, that’s revenge.” All of these characters seek revenge for perceived wrongs, however vague, and destroy themselves pursuing it.
Wow, super good perspective. The one "pure" character saying "that's not justice, that's revenge" is a testament to the whole shows message really.
@@eileenumana Yes. And we had some foreshadowing when this one pure character pleaded with his son, Nacho, to turn himself in to the police. But Nacho never did. It turns out Jimmy was the one in the end... the only one of all the MANY players in this whole tragedy of the BB/BCS saga... to actually speak the truth and "purify" himself in an actual court of law. It's the exact opposite of what he had been doing for so many years of his life. It is poetic. If not for Kim, he never would have done it. He fell on the sword for her. But he discovered that it brought him a great deal of peace that he never would have had otherwise.
I heard there are people who actually don't like BCS because it's all too slow. People don't have patience anymore. It's the best show I watched in my life.

She's such a talented actress, and equally adorable.
That scene where she breaks down, really got to me too.
She conveyed actual such grief/remorse in a way that did not seem like acting, it was just so honest. I was glad that her character finally came clean.
Rhea did a beautiful job of articulating her approach to that bus scene. I didn't expect to see such a sophisticated, elegant breakdown of the acting process on Jimmy Kimmel (or any late-night talk show for that matter), but this was fabulous.
Yet another sign she knows what the hell she’s doing! Just incredible talent. I always wondered how they were able to select such great actors, especially when people like Saul started out as just comedic relief
@@lebeccthecomputer6158 it came as a surprise to them too. They had no idea what Kim's role was gonna be at the start, beyond just Jimmy's girlfriend. Rhea's performance was such a revelation that they shifted the vision of the show to focus more on the Kim/Jimmy relationship.

Rhea Seehorn brought me to tears with that one scene. I’ll never forget it. It was amazing and if you’ve ever felt grief and despair like that I don’t know how it couldn’t move you. Hope she wins every award possible
Rhea, Bob, and Giancarlo definitely deserves an emmy! BCS is a masterpiece! What the heck am I supposed to do with my life, now that the show is over?
I wish the writers showed Kim give Howard's widow an answer when asked why she confessed.
I love that Rhea gave a genuinely insightful look into achieving her performance and didn’t just make a joke and push it aside like most would
The finale was actually amazing - the best writing of any finale I know. It literally turned the series into a love story. As it begins to appear that Jimmy doesn’t even care about Kim and it looks like he is cold bloodedly going to betray her, you start forming the opinion that he is a true sociopath and you actually, as the audience, feel betrayed and start to hate Jimmy. I lost all my warm feelings about the character and then when it turns out that he sacrifices himself for her, the emotions you feel are sadness and joy and relief. Truly amazing writing and acting. Bugger the Emmy - you should get Oscars for that episode!
He actually sacrificed himself to Lalo in a previous episode as well........
Huh? It never looked like he didn't care about her or would betray her. Literally never. The audience always knew he never stopped caring about her. Kim was wondering if he would, but deep down I think she knew he wouldn't.
This show is so different from any other show to come along in a very long time.

@@kbm-zw5jd bro how 💀 the entire ending went right over your head
@@kbm-zw5jd That's the whole point of the ending: there is no redemption for you unless you get full responcibility of your action.
@@human199586 I’m aware of that. Full responsibility could have been taken without 86 years in prison. Jesse took full responsibility in BB. The audience cheered when he flew to freedom. Atoning for your sins can be accomplished in other ways. After several years of watching both BB and BCS, I felt cheated with that ending. Finely acted, to be sure, especially from Rhea, but the screen faded to black and I felt unsatisfied, unlike BB.

“Better Call Saul” was magical from start to finish. They created something that lived on its own and would have been a great show even if it didn’t tie into “Breaking Bad”. I can’t say that about many other spin-offs.

Kim's bus scene was one of the best of the whole show, easily. On par with Chuck's courthouse monologue and other fantastic scenes. Man what a show.
The most amazing scene to me was Nacho hiding in the truck with double pistols ready to fight for his life as men pull up to the motel...ridiculously intense...and the scene before that one..where he's peeking out the window, looking at the old shed and notices movement through the crack...that scene is terrifying...my jaw was on the floor from the scary intensity of it....The X-Files,Breaking Bad,and Batter Call Saul..yeah Vince is a genius

I don’t think I’ve ever fallen in love with a TV character as much as I fell in love with Kim Wexler. Rhea Seehorn was a revelation from the beginning and just kept adding more layers and complexity as the seasons progressed. The fantastic Bob Odenkirk/Jimmy/Saul may have been the show’s beating heart but Rhea/Kim was its soul. She was able to express as much with a facial expression, body language, and a quip as Jimmy/Saul did with all the talking the character is famous for. Rhea is the best of us and it goes to show that there’s so much hidden talent out there, being that she was supposed to be a secondary side character and earned her way into being the centerpiece of the final season through pure talent. The same thing happened with Aaron Paul, it’s great.

The last episode (and well, all the show actually) is a masterclass on microexpressions. Take the hearing. Everyone were nailing the little nuances that helped elevate that moment to "best television ever" material.
RHEA IS JUST GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!
I almost cried re-watching that clip! She’s amazing!
Rhea Seehorn is stunning, both as an actor and human being 💕
She wants me
Such an incredible cast. The performances are always impressive. Better Call Saul is a masterpiece.
Should've won the Emmy
This masterclass in television making wouldn't have been possible without these 2 and their exceptional performances
I heart Rhea, soo talented & a classy natural beauty. While watching ep 12 & the scene where Kim breaks down sobbing on the airport shuttle, ( 2:08 )
I thought, Man she better get nominated for an Emmy....well lookee-loo, She did it!
Actually, her Emmy nomination was for the first half of the season. The second half will be eligible for next year’s awards.
@@denisesudell2538 My point was that she finally got the recognition she deserved, for all 6 season of her work. But that scene alone should’ve sealed the deal.
Wow this was great to watch. Well hosted!
That scene brings my own tears every time I re-watch, incredible. The build up, retention of emotion then the burst.....wow.
Gotta love this show! These actors have the magic to pull you in with their characters. Amazing!
If you told be Rhea was 21, I’d believe it. She looks incredible but it’s her personality.
her energy is on another level, that's why i think it was easy to make her character likeable
I remember when it first became apparent, that Jimmy and Kim were "an item" (without a label for a very long time) and I was annoyed that they got a young actress playing along a much older man who is playing a much younger man tham himself. Didn't expect her and Bob being relatively close in age (9 years ain't much once you're 50).
Rhea looks great no doubt, but where do you live where 21 year olds look like her? LOL
Yeah... no. She's still beautiful though.
I was actualy thinking she aged quite a bit since the first season, and it kinda shows, she looks grear but nowhere near 21, more like 41, that dress is also way too tight for her.
