Sorry Michelle, but I have to correct you. Although many popular operas are sung in Italian, not all operas are in this language. There are famous operas in German ("Die Zauberflöte" from Mozart, "Fidelio" from Beethoven, "Der fliegende Holländer", "Die Walküre" from Richard Wagner ), in French ("Carmen" from Bizet, "Iphigénie en Tauride" from Gluck, "Faust" from Gounod) and so on.
I used to sing with Arizona Opera Co, and while many operas we performed were Italian, some were in German or French. Thankfully, when we did a Russian opera, we got to sing it in English! Whew!
This is a LOVE song for a WOMAN ... sung by a MAN in love. The Great Maestro named LUCIANO PAVAROTTI had this incredible ability to touched your SOUL.... using his exceptional VOICE. He usually touched and vibrate the souls of the HUMANS who heard his arias...... and even the ANGELS stopped in fascination just to listen to this miracle voice of a MAN.
