It feels like the entire community failed this innocent little child. How many seen the signs but failed (chose) to do anything at all to actually help him, smh?

My mother used to stand me in the hallway outside the apartment naked as a punishment and wouldn’t feed me. There was a couple that lived next door and would see me shivering and crying. They’d look at me and crack an uncomfortable smile and go in their apartment. I always wished one night they’d call me to them and save me but they never did. I hate them to this day and any other person who SEES child abuse right before their eyes and says nothing. Stories like this make me sad but also reminds me that many kids have had it worse and I consider myself one of the lucky ones.

There is absolutely no reason in our city for a child to go hungry there are food pantries all over the place, what a tragic life this poor child lived not only being punished all the time from what it sounds like but going hungry. Anna In Ohio

But to get to the food you have to get a ride, stand in a line for 2 hours or more, then try to figure out how to get it back home. Because the person who brung you took off because they couldn't wait any longer.

The family did try to help! They had Mar for a full year, but had to give him back to Lashanda or they would have been charged with kidnapping. And I also called the police a few times on her.

Sorry for posting again I am just so pissed. I take care of three grandbabies OK which suspected autism you’re getting tested some already know that they have ADH or whatever my days be trying but they eat they clean they do things they be involved they have their days, but guess what? It’s not their fault that they’re like the way they are, you reach out you get resources you get in professionals involved and you get help for the Child.

Also, he wasn't a bad child. It's just the parenting, or lack thereof, these days that's to blame. All young people are self-centered people having children that are just in their way. Taking food and money from their self-centered ass's. My Grandfather was part of the greatest generation, and i feel like it's my generation's fault for this country being the way it is. Because we never stood up like they did for our country and let the people that deserve nothing because they wanted to be taken care of by the government getting fat and lazy in the 70's-80's and 90's watching Paulie Shore on MTV and not whipping our kids ass when they were doing wrong, and believing their wasn't any consequences for doing wrong that this is what we end up seeing as the results of us not standing up the way our parents, and grandparents did when people attacked our way of living.

Why is people in the child’s live keep dropping the ball. Y’all be knowing this child needs help don’t care if it’s family or friends protect the child another child gone who could have been someone great through it all. Tyler Perry told his story and is one of out of how many that survived. Don’t have no words to say but so sorry this child suffered from abusive emotional abuse neglect no food locked away and no one could take home away from them no one oh. Shame on not saving this him. He received no love why cause of his suspected disability that’s when someone needs extra love and support.
