Loving the content Ben. I've recently started getting into Streambeats as a free music resource. Being a new service it has it's limitations but it's still growing. Very much geared towards Twitch and UA-cam use.
Anyone looking for a free way to get copyright free music into your videos check out our channel! We post copyright free music for content creators daily all free 😁❤️
Just wanted to say thank you for all of the educational film videos. I’m an environmental scientist and mixed media artist. I know nothing about video and am in the process of making my first channel. I’ve learned a lot from your content in the past week. So thank you for being so great! 🌸
I use ( subscribe) both MB and Epidemic, but recently MB has changed it's pricing and it's licensing format/policy that has become a pain in the rear to use. They now require that you create a project in MB for your video to attach the music to, they increased their prices (doubled). When I asked them what will become of my previous licensed tunes in all my other previous videos, I was told "Nothing at this time". WTH nothing at this time? This could be a real issue down the road if you have to go back and inventory every piece if music you used and re license it. You now have to create a "Project" for each video you use MB music in and attach the music you download for that particular video into that project. If you use that song in a different video you will need to create another project for that video and re-license that song. MB has just got more complicated to use. This would seem to be more of a benefit to MB than the end user/subscriber. One last thing. MB never sent and email or any sort of notice about the changes and what is now required to use music from their site. Bad play MB bad play.
Yo! I might be switching from Music Bed to Sound Stripe! The price is right and I love that you can use their music for YT and freelance for the same price. THAT’S A GAME CHANGER!
I completely agree with your analysis. I was on Epidemic Sound before switching to Musicbed because Musicbed has a bigger volume of quality songs that Epidemic sound doesn't. I think one big edge that Epidemic sound has over Musicbed though is that you can download the song stems. I will go check out Soundstripe now, the UI looks clean.
I hate Musicbed they don’t have the type of music I like. Epidemic sound has been my favorite but I’ve used all of the songs there I like which is house music
Thanks a bunch bruv. I was doing research for a while to find some best music websites for my youtube videos and your video helped me a lot. i Strongly appreciate it.
If I have only ONE wish, I'd wish love and happiness for everyone on this planet. No more fighting and racism. Under the heavenly sky we are all human.
After using Artlist for like 6 months I regret it. I feel like they market themselves as high quality only, but they basically only have corny rock, TONS of house music and EDM, and then everything else is kinda meh. It makes it hard to use a lot of these tracks in a variety of content unless I’m doing a promo video with a stereotypical house track in the background. I’m a corporate Director so I’m trying to find the best music for a variety of content, without having to stoop down to using corporate music. Trying to find creative, uplifting music was a massive chore with artlist.
True, you can get free songs but I've seen it happen so many times where people license free music and then that music becomes restricted or removed and they lose the entire audio from their videos (not just the music, literally all of the audio is removed) or clients can no longer use the videos. Not really worth the risk to me
Just sIgned up with Soundstripe, thank you for the epic video, description and advice brother, used your discount too. Can you please help me understand why you have to re license the track every time I want to use it for another video? Much appreciated in advance
It’s licensed per “project” each license you generate is for that specific project, I believe it’s probably partly how the artist of the song gets commission on their end
I have a subscription for synchedin but I’m still getting copyright claims on my UA-cam videos , how do I include music without getting a copyright claim ?
Hello Ben, thank you so much for your videos. I am looking for a licensing site that lists commercial songs like "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran or "Uptown Funk" by Bruno Mars. Could you recommend any? Thanks a lot in advance!
Closest thing would be fur fly for wedding videos only tho If you want those types of songs you need to try and contact directly and be prepared to pay a lot
Does Musicbed's license continue to cover you if your subscription lapses like artlist does? I'm looking for a song or 2 for an independently produced documentary.
Hey! I was just wondering if you have a subscription to one of these sites and then use audio for a a UA-cam video would you have to then take it down if the subscription ends?
@@benjohnsoncreative would like to understand why not use for audio? Is it because of the quality? Quantity? Or does not fit ur style?🤔 Coze i was looking into storyblock for my youtube audio, until i see ur video. So now i am on the fence. Hahaha😁
Have you had any issues with the music from Epidemic? I just signed up and when I load the songs into LumaFusion, there are breaks/little skips in the track. The music sounds fine when I listen to the download on my computer but once it goes into LumaFusion, it gets screwed up. Any ideas?
Have you ever had a problem with any of these being flagged copy rights on UA-cam, even though you have the licensing? I have heard someone who paid for their music and UA-cam still flagged them, by the time they were able to prove they had the rights to it and get UA-cam to allow the video to go back up, they'd last the traction it had on views.
@@benjohnsoncreative Do you know anywhere that has a lot of popular radio songs? Fyrfly had a few, but there was a lot to be desired. I know reaching out to the company directly is an option, so I might consider that.
