What a gem of a video this is. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Really good insight to what goes on behind the scenes. I personally love the natural style of filming/editing, more charm to it. Look forward to further adventures.
I’m a MASSIVE fan of the channel always but this series is incredible. I appreciate your daily updates but this is again another level with so much dedication. A bit behind but catching up I appreciate you and the channel and the effort put in 👍🍻
Well Simon, I have to say something regarding your reviews and this video, it's causing me a problem, every time a new vid pops up, I watch it and then have a bloody craving to drink beer, I'm supposed to be on a diet😉. Seriously, the reviews are great and I really like the brewery and bar tours you've been doing, a great insight in to what's going on in the beer world. Keep up the good work, won't be that long until the virtual Stoned Crow will be back 🙂, cheers 👍
What an awesome video. Been to Bristol many times, and even visited some of the pubs. Had no clue so many of the brewers were there though! Such a good tour you've given us. I think I'll find Wiper & True and Left Handed Beer when I'm there next. Love your enthusiasm, really comes across!
Bud, only found you by chance as I bought a draft beer machine and needed help, now a subscriber. 😀.. your video of the walk around Bristol pubs brought back so many memories, this was my old stomping ground in the early 1980s, alot of the pubs have changed names and some no longer pubs, in this vid you showed George's brewery, my dad worked there in the 60s when it was a proper brewery, keeps these vids coming bud, brillant.. Cheers.. 👍
We've just spent the weekend visiting Bristol and walking around as many of the breweries and taprooms as we could. Lots of crossover with the places you went so was a fantastic little recap. Great city. Great beers. Great video. Glad you enjoyed it as much as we did!
Great to see so many of Bristol's awesome breweries visited, even a couple I'd not heard of! But, what a bizarre in and out route you took! 🤣 Love the Beer Emporium and Small Bar but there are also many other great and historic pubs beyond King Street, a city worthy of several visits, so hope there'll be a part two, maybe even three, of your exploration of the best beer city in the country! 😉 Also, to tick off your Bristol history list, the Bristol Old Vic is the oldest continuously operating theatre in the English speaking world, it's an awesome building inside and out, most definitely worth visiting. 😎
Please come back to Bristol would love to show you around the brewery's and have a good time! Some fantastic places you haven't been to with some interesting history.
Well I’ve just discovered wiper and true is two streets away from my house and I had no idea it was there. Will def be going there tomorrow for a pint. 👌🏼
Great video. I’m lucky enough to live in BS2, surrounded by breweries. New Bristol is two minutes in one direction, Wiper And True just around the corner.
Trouble with The Hatchet is that it's next to the O2 Academy and is close to Bristol Uni - overpopulated with students who don't appreciate a decent pint
Brilliant video. I did 2 nights in Bristol recently and ticked off everywhere and it was intense! So many places to go.. lost and grounded brewery and Newtown Park brewery were amazing
Great video! Just love your beer adventures! I am trying to find a video like this of London, but just can't find it. If there is one, could you please share the link here? I'd really apreciate it.
James May? Haha. Only been to Bristol once five years ago,so your video will help me with the pubs/breweries i missed, and those that have opened since. Cheers *i would turn google maps narration off next time!
So much more to explore! Good Chemistry is a minute walk from Moor. Newtown Park and Left Handed Giants taproom are neighbours just a few minutes walk from Good Chemistry. This Saturday and Sunday there’s the East Bristol Brewery Trail, you should definitely come back for it
Excellent video Simon as usual. Being from Bristol loved the light you gave to us, also that everyone was so friendly. Next time you are about, see if you can get into King Willy Ale House- Samuel Smith pub with some gorgeous beers.
Love this. Gives me goosebumps as it's where I live. That New Bristol Brewery beerfest, I'm hoping to go and sell my craft beer can candles. The owners are great, all the breweries are great. Missing some out too like Good chemistry, fierce and noble and newtown park...Hard to cover in one day though!
I was literally at the Royal Navy volunteer the same day you were when we beat Germany to get to the semis in the euros, such a small world!!! Great video btw
Great video of central Bristol breweries and bars Simon. There's also plenty more to discovery in terms of breweries, pubs and bars in Easton and along Gloucester Road if you are ever back in Bristol! Hope to see you at new Bristol brewery's beer festival!
Simon: next time you plan to come to Bristol, me and my 2 buddies will look after you. I can even put you put if you like (spare bed!). We are regular viewers of RACB and are, dare I say it decent beer drinking human beings (well, I think we are). Cheers Tony
Way to go Simon, these city beer videos are awesome. Your camera work is excellent because you don’t turn too fast. I felt bad because the first two breweries you couldn’t have a beer hope you get one at this brewery. Keep up the good work and when you get to the states please stop by Lewiston, New York so I can show you around and buy you a beer. Cheers!👍🏻🍻
great video... if you go bristol again, check out the gryphon. always importing unique beers and ales etc... plus its a metal bar and the most welcoming place in the world.
Brilliant video, very informative!! You know that the LHG venue you went to was their brewpub and the actual brewery is about a mile further along though? We love visiting Bristol and you've given us more ideas for different breweries and bars to visit!
Ah welcome to Bristol Si! My stomping ground, if you're around the pubs for a part 2 let me know! Will have a swift half with you mate. :D Bristols oldest pub is always a debatable subject, Hatchet claims they are, Llandogger is pretty old. Blackbeard Ed teach is rumoured to have drank there. Last time i went i had the Rothaus also :D . But in terms of building age, it's The Rummer Bar / Rummer Hotel / Malt 'n Hops. has been called a few things over the years though. Building was originally a pub and has stood since 1241! easily eclipsing the Hatchet. Sadly closed now though during covid.
Simon, it feels that every week you have another another one hundred or so subscribers. Clearly a sign of your effort and quality output. Another quality video 🙌🏽
Great vid, Totally agree The Hatchet is a great disappointment. Kings Steet definatly the best, The Old Dukes great, the Naval Volunteer used to be an amazing pub with beer served from kegs until it was ruined about +10 years ago.

Love the vibe at New Bristol . Cheers from Argentina

You know, I haven’t been able to get out this summer at all. So I truly do appreciate you doing these videos. Cheers!
New Bristol Brewery will definitely get my trade when I'm next in Bristol.
Incredible cameo from the guy at New Bristol Brewery
New Bristol Brewery, seem like good guys. Incredible gesture giving free beer. Top guys
You need to get up to Edinburgh Si. I’ll happily star in the episode 🤣 be great to get a beer with you after watching you for over 10 years!

Bristol lad here, great video
Quality video this. I work around the corner from King's St, love it. The RNV is great for a lunchtime drink.
What a great day you've had there.
Great video, really enjoyed that. I think there's enough of a beer scene in Bristol to warrant a long weekend of filming for a Bristol mini series!
That brewdog looked awesome.
Watching this with friends for the 3rd time. This series is the future. Stone The Crows!
That chinese Cathay Rendezvous is phenomenal place to eat one of my favourite meals in the world in there
oh yeah, it's gorgeous 👍

I went to Cardiff for the 6N rugby in 2019. The Barry Island iPA was the best beer I tasted. Well done to you.
Yes!!!!!!! Get in!!!!!!!! Sorry to swear but I FUCKNG LOVE this series!
That pub @41:00 is amazing.
Please come back to Bristol would love to show you around the brewery's and have a good time! Some fantastic places you haven't been to with some interesting history.
Top bloke at New Bristol!
Well I’ve just discovered wiper and true is two streets away from my house and I had no idea it was there. Will def be going there tomorrow for a pint. 👌🏼
The directions scared the life out of me 😂
Great video. I’m lucky enough to live in BS2, surrounded by breweries. New Bristol is two minutes in one direction, Wiper And True just around the corner.
Oh. My. Gosh. Was starting to think this will never come. I'm PUMPED.
Great, clinical review.. the OJC's have been utterly superb
Loved it , as a late comer to your vids I'm loving catching up loads of hours ahead.
This is great Simon. so many nice people me on the way. Do like Bristol
Great video. Some really lovely pubs in Bristol. Must go back there again soon. Have been to that beer emporium and its brilliant!
Love that. Seeing simon in my home town. 👍🏻 Great place for beer
Bristol is an amazing night out. The beer scene is outta this world, plus Bristol's clubbing culture is globally regarded.
The smile on your face on the boat 😂 ❤ you need to get a boat mate, a bar-ge 😂
Another brilliant vid! I love these tours.
AND - all viewers, don’t skip those ads. Gotta keep this channel going.
Great tour ,never been to Bristol, feeling inspired.....
So much information great video 👍
Simon on a boat! Another great beer-centric tour. The channel is a producer/editor away from hitting the UA-cam big-time.
Yeah thats what I need mate, a small team around me to polish it up a bit.
As far as beer goes - Bristol is like the San Diego of the UK. I think I'll up sticks and move the family one day.
I've heard great things about Bristol in general not just the beer scene. It's a world away from me though!
Brilliant video Simon so good to see all these great breweries. I've drank many of their beers! 👍
Fantastic Si.. thoroughly enjoyed watching.. Bristol has some exciting things happening for sure.
Bravo Sir 🍺🍺👏🏻
Great walking brewery tour!
Definitely up there as one of my fav videos you’ve done I so want to go to Bristol now 👍 top video as always
Thanks
Trouble with The Hatchet is that it's next to the O2 Academy and is close to Bristol Uni - overpopulated with students who don't appreciate a decent pint
This'll be interesting - spent a weekend here a few weeks back just going round the taprooms and craft bars. Was great...
Wow, at Wiper and True and missed all the breweries (including this one) so plenty to check out next time I'm down!
If you are coming back, just up the road from The Hatchet is The Gryphon. Metal pub that serves guest ales only and has some crackers on tap.
What a pub!
Love your ‘out and about’ videos as well as your other content . Great video Si!!
Cracking lads at New Bristol!!! Great vlog mate glad you enjoyed it here in good old Brizzle!!
Going to Bristol for a stag next year Simon so good research for the trip 👍 , as always top viewing
I'm off to Bristol next week Simon and this is brilliant actually, just what I need before the trip.
Awesome video! Keep this series going! 🍻
Fantastic series. Looking forward to the next adventure!

Wow, how nice was the guy from New Bristol - just kept giving you beer 😂
Ollie at On Point seems a nice bloke, in fact they all do. Great video Simon.

Really enjoyed the video bro 👏👏👏👏
What a fantastic video! I thought Tenby was good but really enjoyed this one. Makes me want to re visit Bristol again very soon. 🍻👏

Enjoyed watching.
New Bristol Brewery, my favourite Craft 🍺 when I was in Gloucestershire
Really love this series Simon! Keep it up!
Excellent vid 👍
Simon, you should be on the Tele. I really enjoyed watching this video, I think a trip to Bristol is on the cards. Good work mate 👍🍻
Enjoy watching these, 👍🍻
Brilliant Simon, Great video & good to see new breweries popping up
Great video of central Bristol breweries and bars Simon. There's also plenty more to discovery in terms of breweries, pubs and bars in Easton and along Gloucester Road if you are ever back in Bristol!

My favourite for the seven years we lived in Filton, Bristol, was The Wellington.

great suff
You said you like the sound of Kongs.. there’s one in Cardiff on St Mary street!
You’re making out now Simon with brewers stuffing beer in your nap sack. I’m sure with all that walking you’re building up quite the thirst 😂🍻
Good stuff
Enjoyed this one Simon 🍻
Brother you must also get ultrasound of your liver to check how is it
hi Simon, loved you're video, insightful stuff even for a Bristolian like me.
next time here, try strawberry thief on broad st, great little place👍
Simon, it feels that every week you have another another one hundred or so subscribers. Clearly a sign of your effort and quality output. Another quality video 🙌🏽
Hi Simon, great video. love the way you make videos.
Great vid, Totally agree The Hatchet is a great disappointment. Kings Steet definatly the best, The Old Dukes great, the Naval Volunteer used to be an amazing pub with beer served from kegs until it was ruined about +10 years ago.
I want to go to Bristol.
Fabulous content!
You need to do a part 2 and come up to Gloucester Road Bristol, Sidney & Eden, Bottles & Books and Drapers Arms
I think Bristol needs part 2
Cheers!
That "oldest pub" The Hatchet looked a bit boring inside. Tried to mix the modern with the old and didn't really work.
