@Bridget Rose yup, in the Netherlands it's normal to split the bill after a date, I don't really know why it started, but I believe it's just because we love money and cheap stuff, and if you split the bill you'll pay what you ordered and you don't risk that, for example, your date orders a lot of expensive food, since they need to pay for their own dishes.
Dutch people are very tall in general, belgians in general too but still shorter (usually not as short as represented in this drawing tho 😂) not shaming the artist or anything btw cuz i luv the drawing ^^
