    This piece gives me chills every time I watch it. It's such a beautiful message and story being told. This is art at its finest. Any dancer would understand that they aren't just dancing. They are speaking from the heart and letting out there feelings. Dance without feeling is just plain movement. Long live the arts

    You are EXCELLENT DANCERS. Incredibly beautiful choreography. I heard the first notes of the song and it makes my eyes blurry. And the way you dance even more. Always dance, please.

    While the movements are fast and sharp, they are so controlled and made to look effortless and elegant! And if you listen carefully they are performed at such a speed that the moves hit every syllable of every lyric, every vocal riff, and the piano instrumentals perfectly.

    the song might be slow but you don't always have to dance slowly to a slow song... there are parts where the music allows you to be faster or slower it all depends on the way you ear the song... and that's what gives dynamism to the choreo.
    Absolutely dope! I still can't get over how good this piece is!

    sometimes hip hop can be a platform for people to express their feelings and thoughts, different songs bring different emotion...we don't categorize music with calming or not calming .. it's all about emotion, feeling expressing...a "fast song" can be very sad, a "slow song" can be very lifely, even a jazz song also can be choreographed by hip hop...if you really can understand Keone's voice and then you say don't enjoy it, um.. I'm not sure whether you know how great is this piece or not...

    The performance is called "Lois Lane" because of the poem, song, and dance all together. He's not just titling the song, but his art and how he wanted to show the story

    If you were to sing along to this song, you would find that the rhythm of the lyrics are pretty quick. Likewise the movement was quick and sharp to match that rhythm of the lyrics not necessarily the background music. He does occasionally add in a move that emphasizes a piano or a vocal hiccup in the middle of the verses which makes it look even faster. Hope that clears up some confusion :)

    the tempo of the song is actually quite fast =) , just with less instruments . you need to take some time to understand this kind of dancing . when i started dancing I keep asking the same question like you , but after some time , i realized how amazing it is !! it's just like how artists appreciate those abstract art . trust me , this choreography and Keone is amazing !

    I took the time to state that the choreo was very impressive. I've been a long time follower of Keone as well, but I personally just don't enjoy seeing hip hop elements to such a calming song. Just a personal preference.

  • @heckyes
    @heckyes 11 років тому

    I get that a lot of people enjoy this piece. I don't though and I'm pretty sure that's perfectly ok for people to have differing tastes. I'm not insulting anyone who was a part of it, I've even taken the time to state that I thought the Choreography was great, I just don't like it. I like seeing the movements of hip hop to the music of hip hop, that's just my preference. Rock on to anyone who enjoys the movements to anything else.

  • @heckyes
    @heckyes 11 років тому

    I did say I thought the choreo was excellent. Just as a personal preference I prefer the movements of hip hop to the music of hip hop. Just like how I would prefer to see Ballet done with ballet music. It's just a preference, surely you can respect diversity among opinions.

  • @heckyes
    @heckyes 11 років тому

    I can understand that, but it still don't enjoy it. I guess it's just a personal preference. I prefer to see the movements of hip hop to an upbeat song.

  • @heckyes
    @heckyes 11 років тому

    I don't see them singing, I see them more like "rapping" as they are doing the movements of hip hop which doesn't fit the song, but like I've said to many people now, it's just a personal preference. The choreo is very good, all the dancers are very talented, I just don't enjoy it.
