The Chrissy cam was fantastic. Love how you guys work together. And I have all faith in you guys that you can build your own house. You did a fantastic job on the barn. So go for it. I will be watching every video.
Good morning Jason and Danielle. It's cold in Florida, too! I think the Chrissy Cam was amazing! Thank you, Chrissy and Jeremy, for helping out Jason and Danielle! ❤
Hey Crockers!! I love all your content and now watch Paragon as well! It’s awesome seeing you guys on each other’s videos! It sucks that you have to explain yourselves and justify what you are doing. There are always different ways to get from point A to point B. Just because someone does something one way doesn’t mean you can’t get the same results doing it differently. Keep up the great work and I’m looking forward to watching the progress on all your builds!!
Good morning Jason and Danielle!!! I uave no doubt that ya'll can build your own house., you two have the knowledge and also know how to research before you do something you're not sure of. I have faith in you two!!! The 4 of you did an amazing job together and worked like a well oiled machine, friend machine!! Gooooo Chrissy Cam filming it raw!! Ya'll have a great day and keep on keepin on ✌️ ❤❤❤
I think I have a pretty good idea on how the house is going to be built brother, don't worry about what people think and im pretty confident that you will do a good job on the build
But what are the huge posts for? If you put the grain bin in the middle of the posts, what will you use the posts for? And what are those black trusses for? My 2 cents: I would put down flooring over the concrete and add heating to have warm and toasty floors. The concrete will be cold and absorb any spillage causing stains.
Good morning, kids. I have my HEB Cafe Old Texas Pecan coffee. I'm just curious as to how the Bin King is going to move your bin to the slab. P.S. IF my beloved father-in-law, Ramon Cook, were still alive, he would approve of the build so far. Dad was a professional engineer with almost 60 years of concrete and steel experience. He helped engineer the second half of our house build in the 90s. We used similar steel trusses in Gary's workshop and the Great Room. Dad would approve of the way you put in the posts with the protective sleeves as well. Dad worked on various international projects as well as designing the interlocking concrete structures for the D.C. Metro line. Dad also co-authored and edited engineering textbooks that are probably still in use. (For all of you Couch Coaches and Sofa Supervisors, look up Ramon J. Cook, P.E.) So, while I can't figure out how the hell you're going to do this, but I am interested in the process. Also, I LOVED the Chrissy Cam! ❤
Good morning Jason and Danielle. Thank you for the premiere last night, I loved it. The Chrissy Cam was very special. Danielle, you are a real UA-camr now. You forgot about your gift, you have to make something on there and show us. Hope everything went well at the dentist. Have an awesome day. Love you both💕💕
Current foundation is going to be your main living space/bedroom/bathroom. Grain bin will be moved/connected to main foundation but made shorter for your kitchen/dining area and possibly a small bedroom/bathroom for guests. The additional ring removed from grain bin can be used for animals. Well that’s my thoughts 💭 I’m excited either way! Can’t wait for your reveal ❤
Yep; the man who owns the house the apartment building I live in was a Retired Electrician when he and a few others formed a group that went to check out properties and they each pitched in an amount to help each other buy the property that each was interested in. After the purchase , each new owner had work done to their property to renovate it. The owner of the property I live in had the back building torn down to the existing foundation and and a few walls. They started with the plumbing setup and electrical wiring for each apartment and added an extension to the concrete floor. I found a set of blueprints and discussed a few points that I noticed in each apartment that were “ Off” or “ missing “ . In my apartment, in my sons room and closet they angled , instead of boxed over the plumbing pipes that run across the floor of the closet and a couple of them connect to the hot water heater. Also, there is No Linen closet, No Pantry, No washer and dryer connections, No Garbage disposal and they didn’t put any OSB or plywood on the floors before they laid the padding and carpet which is not so bad in the Summer but in the Winter the concrete floors are “ colder than a witches tits” and my feet freeze way up to my thighs, even through the carpet. Two of my downstairs windows were broken, one by the man who owns the construction company that was hired to do the work on the building. The other window was broken by a hooligan who knew my older son. I told him that they could have solved their problem with him in a way that did not involve my home . In my bedroom closet, I had to obtain a wide piece of wood and nail it up under a long piece that was already there just to be able to attach the “ Custom hangers add shelving unit ; I also had the smaller areas measured and cut pieces of wood for both ends of the closet for shelves. The studio next door to me has No pantry and No closet. The apartment next to it is odd in shape like a “ Y” . Now that I recall none of them have pantries, no Garbage disposals and No washer / dryer connections. The apartment next to that and the others had their “ custom closet shelves with hangers “ fall from the walls and in a couple of them the the doors came off their tracks and were thrown away because the tenants and or Managers didn’t know how to affix them to the walls or back on their tracks. The very end opposite my apartment had some of the same issues and also IF one noticed it you would see that the corner in the upper right hand of the ceiling forms the strangest angle I have ever seen. The apartments in the front building are in just as bad shape if not worse than the upgraded building in the back. ( All of these errors are from the owner and the construction company “ cutting corners”. At one point in time the Electrician dropped his handfuls first wire during the middle of an argument with the owner and quit. After a few weeks , they had made amends and he was back at work again. It’s a wonder that these buildings were completed. Even though they still have issues. ( Best to do it yourself and save when and where you can and when you have to rely on someone/ company to do the job, do what I told my first ex husband, Go out there and Be the Supervisor. 👍👍🙏💜🦁✨🌈✝️
Paragon Ranch! Chrissy cam!!! You guys do a great channel! Crockers rock! Thanks! I Enjoy your thoughts and approach to your projects! Keep it up You two!
So obviously folks that watch you don’t listen to what you say when you speak….. all those questions you mentioned you answered during the video!!! Holy cow people… shut up and listen!!! Sheesh…..😊
i am totally confident that you can build a great house. I am sixty-five year old and I laid all my floors, painted, made cabinets and much more in our pole barn house. What is you say, “if you want something bad enough…”.
What I like it about you guys is you all make it real? Oh man, it's not scriptive. It's not thatose kind of weird s*** It is real. I'm not sure I love about you. Guys hell, I'll be 17 February and I still love everything you're done. I've done it I've actually done what you're doing. And it makes me feel younger again.
No way 😂 you don't even know the most generic names for things but sure keep pretending. Mistakes will definitely be made with you at the helm. But----- We know where you really live and where you'll continue to live. None of this is real.
Years ago, we hired a crew to frame a house for us and ended up firing them after a couple of days. It took us about a week and a lot of wasted material to fix all his mistakes! You’re right, when we build it ourselves we know exactly what we’re getting…mess ups and all, but at least they’re our own mistakes! 😂☕️🇨🇦
Christy you guy are awesome and awesome friends too❤ thank for being helped Jason and Danielle they are awesome good people's you got good friends with them ❤
I would say the reason you had a little movement in your form was from driving your stacks in fill dirt. 🤔 From where I’m setting lol that looks like the high side. More chance for the stacks to shift. The fact the concrete was so wet. It has a lot more weight/force to it.
Jason why you keep correcting your wife ? To the point that she asked you “tell me what to do or say “…., you always make her look like she has not brain , and Daniele always given you a kind smile , please Jason be kind to your wife . You like to talk for her. And I believe Daniele is a professional educated woman.
Jason - I can't imagine what you're going to do with those trusses, it seems overkill for the roof of a wrap-around porch? The house I grew up in had those in the basement ceiling holding up a concrete first floor above and you're obviously not doing that. As for the chopping down of your tooth - it's the root that counts, it's like a good footer, if that's still strong, you can build whatever kind of tooth you want on top of it. Hold on to those roots, an implant is an ordeal, I'm now the owner of a $6000 bionic moler root - it's an actual metal screw in my jaw, and then the crown was more $$$. Happy it exists but geezz.....
Most professional builders are trying to finish as fast as possible and go on to the next job. You will never get the quality unless you built it your self.
I never understand why youtubers have to think everything has to be secret. If you want it a secret never mention anything about it and it would be better.
I believe you are going to make the grain bin be the upstairs of your home, that’s why you have the heavy duty still beams to support the bin, that’s my opinion, what ever way you used it I know it will be one Awesome Looking home one of a kind,no one will ever have one the same, you guys are awesome.you can build a deck around the grain bin on top so that it will be square also, great ideal, am I right.
❤❤YA VEO QUE TODO VA MUY BIEN SIGAN ASI YA SE EMPIEZA A VER MAS ADELANTOS EN SUS CONSTRUCCIONES ME ENCANTA COMO DANIE.LE SE RIE SE VE MUY BONITA Y TU JASON TAMBIEN ME HACES REIR CON TUS EXTRENCIDADES ME GUSTA VERLOS FELICES❤❤
Long time viewer, first comment. Chrissy Cam was great! No matter what you believe, that inner voice, is the Holy Spirit guiding you. Listen to Him. He helps you in life, gives you strength, and gives you great friends who know just what to say and do to help you through. Keep doing what you are doing. You are both growing. Love your channel.
Your first cut into the cement was with a brand new blade compared to cuts after so probably cement same all around. Just trying to give you peace of mind. Keep up doing what you do best, bull shit and hard work. Have fun;
I BELIEVE DANIELLE IS THE TYPE OF PERSON THE DESERVES TO LIVE COMFORTABLY. IF SHE WERE MY SPOUSE I WOULD MAKE SURE SHE HAD EVERY COMFORT POSSIBLE. WHY DON'T YOU BUY A MOBILE HOME AND RESELL IT WHEN YOUR HOUSE IS BUILT. AT LEAST SHE WOULD NOT HAVE TO LIVE LIKE A VAGABOND IN THE MEAN TIME. JUST A THOUGHT.
UA-cam isn’t a movie, FYI. I don’t believe, and have never seen where big UA-camrs ever try to hide things or not explain what they’re doing. Most literally talk about their entire plans way ahead of time and people still watch their videos throughout the entire process. Now, sometimes they will have surprises - like oh BTW we bought a new piece of property or we have a change in plans, but normally it’s just them working through the building process that everyone already knows about what they’re doing and what it will look like. Sorry, but I have been watching UA-cam longer than your channel began Jason. :-)

Huge love ❤ from Canada.
There you go teasing us again. 🤣🤣
The size of your new home is going to be humongous! Love how yah do it yourself!
It's going to be beautiful, large living area, bathroom laundry on the slab then more concrete for grainbin/bedrooms etc. It's gunna be Wow.
I have a question.... How will you seal the top of those sleeves so water doesn't get in and rot the wood posts?
I think I have a pretty good idea on how the house is going to be built brother, don't worry about what people think and im pretty confident that you will do a good job on the build

Sometimes telling the people what you're going to do makes them want to watch to see your vision take place one step at a time

Hey Danielle and Jason- Good chilly morning. I’m just going to stay with the process, your words…Lol 👍
You're doing a great job try to put a spoon of sugar on your fire so the smoke will go away let us know if it works

You are not the UA-cam King. Seriously Jason. How about a little humility?
Maybe the queen of drama
Please…….long winded, starts to get boring.
You are so so patient Danielle.
Really? You obviously are a troll who doesn’t know a joke… you must be one of those sensitive types that is always offended. Get a life
Hey moron! Its a joke! Nobody has a sense of humor anymore!
❤️🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸
Jason, I was just wondering if you should tape the top of the sleeve so it won't fill with water??
I loved the Chrissy Cam. She was able to catch material that wouldve been normally lost because of the activities going on. And honestly, if you were going to set the posts on the concrete, you wouldve wanted to dig a deeper, wider footer. Good call. Love ya'll ❤️
