I think she grew older and learned. From 1990-1998, she was on the road all the time and did whatever she was told to do to release an album. I think that, after the way Columbia treated her in 1999 and after the breakdown in 2001, she decided to become more assertive and not drain the life from herself.
Well of course she was more humble. If you are 20 years old and your music career is starting OBVIOUSLY you have to be humble. She hasn't change, she was like that because she was shy and insecure; she get confidence with the years, and then she started to show her REAL personality. 'Cause the "diva Mariah" you're talking about, is the real Mariah, and she isn't even a diva. That's just the way people call her just because she's femenine and glamorous. Mariah was and is still humble, she's a great human being, and also is a funny woman, so stop judging her if you don't know her well. There's more beyond the lights and the fame, guys, there's so much more.

My goodness, you'd barely recognise her today! Here she looks very mixed race with her natural hair and skin and not much make up on. You can see what her facial strcuture actually looks like! Now she wears so much slap she looks more like a barbie doll than a real, natural girl!
Yes of course people's appearances change naturally over 20 years, but if you really think she looks "the same" I suggest you book an appointment with an optician! She looks far nicer here IMO.

Her music decline? Darling, my favorite song is in her album Rainbow "Cant Take That Away",and that inspired me a lot. Through the Rain in Charmbracelet is so inspiring too, whatcha talking about, only 1990-1998 are perfect. We Belong Together is a great rnb song. You're obviously bitter because of how changed she looks. Idc about she looks, I admire her talent in singing and writing, and not how she looks. I didnt stan a model. I stan a singer and a songwriter.
