I'm wondering if you could have just used adhesive to adhere the turf to the back of the bookshelf instead of adding additional backing. Of course adhesive could get messy but might have been worth a try.
I really think the dog was a little confused about what was going on with the artificial grass. "Wait a minute. Why is the grass not going under my paws? Hmmmmm.... What's next? Trees on tables?" This is a cool project. Nice work!
That is smart, thrifty, and imaginative. Thinking of all the color combinations that can be used for home decor. Would be perfect for mom's lighthouse collection. Could use sky blue background and perhaps fluff to sit the lighthouses on. Thank you for the wonderful idea.
