Across continents and decades, five brilliant friends make earth-shattering discoveries as the laws of science unravel and an existential threat emerges.
Some great destruction and environment work.
The effects of game are much better than the Tencent's verson.
Yeah well each episode of the Netflix version cost twice as much as the whole season of Tecent's version. So Tencent did pretty well with that money
Tencent version was made with real video game in mind, Netflix version changed it to alien tech.
Tencent version made more sense.
@@iamsheep I still thought Tencent look overall very cheap
Everything in this show looked better than Tencent
@@jeffbachman2949the cinematography of the Netflix show sucks
To be fair, the VFX on this show just wasn't as good as I was expecting - all of it far too artificial for my liking. Not sure whether it is a vendor problem, a budget problem, a timing problem or a combination of all three - but I know Netflix (and the vendors involved) can do a better job than this.
The only Netflix show I can think of at the moment which has good VFX is Black Mirror. VFX is always bad for Netflix shows e.g. The Witcher, One Piece and Avatar.
Most of the fx, they had to make it look faker for this show because most of them are in a Video Virtual Reality Game.
I thought most of it looked
good especially the rehydrate stuff and the ship crew stuff. Like a second or 2 shot looks a little off but overall I liked it. But if you didn't like it one plus is they said their budget will be bigger for VFX since they got a second season
I thought most of it looked good and the creators said the VR was intentionally made that way
maybe it's a you problem
Special Effects on Netflix' stuff is never really good, it's just fine as demonstrated again in this video. You really have to wonder where all the budget goes.
The VR stuff wasn't supposed to look 100% real overall I think it mostly all looked pretty good
The visual effect looks pretty noticable, not sure why it costed more than Fallout, which looks way more impressive than this show.
The VR stuff wasn't supposed to be 100% real the creators said it was an artistic choice. Most of the other stuff I thought looked really good. I was very surprised watching some other videos just how much CGI was used that I didn't even notice was CGI. Like the entire crow during the struggle session was almost all CGI
the visual effect is 2nd tier. not sure how this show costs more to make than GOT.
I thought most of it looked good
The VFX in this series was way too noticeable. It's a shame artists put so many hours of hard word and sweat, only for this to come out of it. All in all, this series was a total letdown.
I loved the show thought it was great and the VR stuff was intentionally meant to look that way
what a troll
@@noizz4 a troll for disagreeing about a TV show grow up and get a life
hardly nice cgi
