Thanks for the instructions. You're the only one I found who actually took their time and explained everything. I took your advice and marked mine with washi tape as well.
Your directions were perfect! I couldn't even get the machine open till I watched you! Thank you so much. We R Memory Keepers should hire you! Their directions were pathetic!
Finally, someone that knows how to explain how to use it. Thanks for taking your time to do that. It's very simple but the instructions given were hard to understand
I just bought one & unfolded the instructions & said out loud, well THAT’s going back to the Store! And then Ta Da, I stumbled across YOUR great video. TY so much! ❤
Thank you so much Joshua. I was having trouble finding help on UA-cam until I found your video. Your instructions and comments were very helpful to me!
I just bought the same model you have, and almost pulled my hair out trying to figure out how to just unlock this thing! THANK YOU so much for this video! Your instructions are brilliant!
You saved the day!! I'm sitting here thinking what the hell, why doesn't this make sense to me. Thank you for your perfect explanation of how to use this tool.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO. It's true there's no videos anywhere explaining how to use it and Thank God I found your video. I got it on my first try.
Thank you so much for doing this video! So right re: instructions! You really saved me a lot of frustration! Additionally, I'm feeling better now for purchasing it.
Thank you Joshua. You're 100% correct in your description of the instructions. Even AFTER watching your video they still didn't make sense. Anyway, you've saved the day, I can now operate the tool properly. I was doing so many things wrong that it's hard to believe given it's such a simple tool. A couple of the major ones - not realising that there was a locking mechanism and fighting with it to open up; and not realising that there is a hole to look through when punching. Oh, and I also had the cubes set incorrectly. Doh! So, thanks again.
Thank you for this video, it was short, sweet, but informative,. I have a question, does the crop-a- dile set metal snaps? I have a tool for the plastic snaps or can it also do metal snaps?
I just received my crop a dile yesterday and so your video is perfect because I will get my first eyelets tomorrow! I like the way you were “real” and you made mistakes because I learned what to do and what not to do! Thank you so very much! ❤Sue
EXCELLENT Video!!! Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video, it's exactly what is needed and you do such a great job explaining and demonstrating every step!!!!
So, exactly 1 minute into your video it all became clear to me how to use this tool. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! 😂I agree, the instructions were not helpful AT ALL. God bless you for taking the time to make this video! 🥰
Thank you so much. I need an eyelet setter but this contraption is intimidating! You simplified it for me and now I feel better investing about $70 Canadian dollars! TFS
Thank you Joshua, this is a brilliant video to demonstrate how the crop-a-dile works. The original instructions are hopeless and you have shown a very informative way of using it. Thanks a million.
@@InkTheEdges aww. Thank you. You really "have what it takes" to give instructions, and I wish you great success! Feel free to reach out any time with questions! My email is in my "about" section.
Thanks Joshua, I just got mine today and had no idea how to use it. Loved your video and especially your mishaps as this was a great way of showing what can happen and how to correct it. Cheers hun. Lynne (Northeast England) 💕
Thank you so much for this video!!!! I could not figure out how to use it. I had no idea it was locked in place. Again thanks because I was about ready to throw it, lol
Great job! Thank you for this video. I wanted to purchase this model . However, wasn’t sure how well it would work. Great job explaining how to use it. Just ordered it today.😊👍
Thanks Joshua for this very informative video. I thought I was the only who couldn't understand the instructions! You have enabled me to use mine properly. 😊
Oh wow, that is really great to hear! One of the reasons I started my channel was my growing frustration at the lack of certain types of videos that us crafters are looking for on youtube! This makes me happy to read! I'm so glad!!!!
Thank you, I was able to work it correctly but watched your video to make sure, as I seriously thought their instructions were terrible! You made it very easy to understand all the moving parts, and what really shocked me with their instructions was the warning disclaimer, stating: failure to follow our “terrible instructions” will damage the tool and void warranty!!!! Maybe you should contact them and have them add your UA-cam address as a “how to” link, so their tool does get used correctly by people who don’t understand substandard instructions and then they can avoid damaging their tool…. You would think given all their products they do have videos on, this would be one of them.
I have had my breast cancer edition for over a year. Ive only used the hole punch bc I didn’t understand the directions either! I’ve been watching YT paper crafting tutorials and they use it all of the time for eyelets. I thought I needed a different kind so I’ve ordered 3 different packs from Amazon and couldn’t achieve the bear claw bc I was putting the small tube where the front of the eyelet is supposed to go which I learned from your video from a year ago. Thank you for releasing me from the frustration I’ve experienced from not knowing how to use it correctly. ❤️Amanda
Thank you so much for this video, I just couldn't understand which settings to have both parts of the 'squisher' bit on but I have it now I've watched this video x
Thank you so much. I just got this today and saw how horrible the directions were. I had no idea what to do with it. Your video is wonderful and helped so much. now to go set some eyelets in my tags I just made to try this thing out. I appreciate you!!!
Excellent tutorial! Thanks so much. What about setting snaps? What snaps does the tool set, and how does it work? I can’t find We R Memory Keepers snaps.
Those "technical difficulties"..that great excuse for all the things that go wrong🙄 ...Thank you for your very detailed review of the Crop-A-Dile...I think I want one very badly...for making those Traveller's notebook style books with the three rows of elastics inside to hold FOLDED PAPERS or small booklets x 3 maybe. I just can't seem to find THE ORIGINAL CROP-A-DILES that deliver to my P.O. Box here in The Yukon Canada
Thank you so much, Joshua, for a very informative video. I've got both the handheld Crop-a-dile and also the Big Bite one as well. I wasn't sure that I was doing it correctly as sometimes the eyelet was squashed at the back rather than a clean circle - do you have any idea why this happens? Also, I assumed that the eyelet at the back would be smooth but it looks like it's jagged. Can you cut your finger on it (as I can when I do it) ? Your advice would be much appreciated as like others I found that the written instructions are dreadful! Thank you.
Thanks Joshua… I’m glad I watched you, to see what to do and watch out for the tool sticking. I’m not real happy about the wrong side with the grommet. It’s sharp and not a clean edge after setting or crimping. Am I doing something wrong? Squeezing too tight maybe?
I was reading instructions on SplitCoastStampers group, and their discussion said to squeeze very slowly, not fast. Beats me. I will just do tests and use up the eyelet colors I don't use that much and try different thicknesses of cardstock and chipboard and see what happens. It is obviously not a perfect tool, and for most projects, that is just fine.
Thanks for the instructions. You're the only one I found who actually took their time and explained everything. I took your advice and marked mine with washi tape as well.
Joshua, thank you so much for your straightforward instructions. I couldn't figure out how to open it, and you made it so simple.
Your directions were perfect! I couldn't even get the machine open till I watched you! Thank you so much. We R Memory Keepers should hire you! Their directions were pathetic!

I hear you! It was insane!
Thank you sooo much that was way easier than I thought!

❤your sharp images and camera angles. Those made a world of difference in understanding this tool. Thank you!

Thank you so much for doing this. I get it now! Off to play with my new cropadile :)
Thank you for your help, I couldn’t even open mine until I found your video. Looks like it has a learning curve?! Thank you Joshua!
Great instructions! Thank you for covering the very basics, like unlocking this thing.
Thank you Joshua! This video is officially the best How-To Use Crop-a-Diles on You Tube Period!
Thank you so much for saying that! I did try to fill in the gap! I couldn't find a good/new guide!!
Thank you for this video, it was short, sweet, but informative,. I have a question, does the crop-a- dile set metal snaps? I have a tool for the plastic snaps or can it also do metal snaps?
Dah! Thank you for explaining this simple/complicated tool! Not sure I would have ever figured it out from the directions or other videos!
I just received my crop a dile yesterday and so your video is perfect because I will get my first eyelets tomorrow! I like the way you were “real” and you made mistakes because I learned what to do and what not to do! Thank you so very much! ❤Sue

Oh my goodness!!! Thank you so much for the tutorial!!! I was so frustrated and your video was stellar
Thank you! I found your instructions very helpful & am saving the video to rewatch the next times I use my crop-a-dile 🙂.

Thank you for this helpful video! I’ve watched people use them on UA-cam before, but they went so fast that I had no idea how to use the tool.
Just found you and this information.. thank you so much... I couldn't work this darn thing out for love nor money... appreciate you sharing...
Thank you Joshua, this is a brilliant video to demonstrate how the crop-a-dile works. The original instructions are hopeless and you have shown a very informative way of using it. Thanks a million.
Thank you Josh, I just received my Crop-a-dile today and I was like, help me UA-cam!
Your video was perfect 👍 it’s so easy when you know how 😃
Just received my first crop a dile and was bewildered, thank you for showing how to use it. 👍
well done, Joshua. You're talented at giving instructions
Thank you Lolly! You are one of my crafting idols so this is the highest compliment and feels great!!!!!

Excellent instructions. I had no idea it can lock. I've had many for years but not the kit just the tool. Thanks
Thank you so much! I couldn’t even figure out how to unlock the devise!!
Thank you very much Joshua! I can now buy one of these, and not worry how to use it! This is what was stopping me from getting one! Sara x
Oh my gosh! This was so helpful!!! I just got my crop-a-dile today and was completely baffled.
Great job! Thank you for this video. I wanted to purchase this model . However, wasn’t sure how well it would work. Great job explaining how to use it. Just ordered it today.😊👍

Great instructions so much clearer than the paper version😊. Thanks for a video together to help the rest of us strugglers.
Thank you so much for saying that! It's the reason I wanted to do a video, so others would get some clarification! Yay!!!
I second that emotion, I was ready to return mine back to the store, thank you for the save
Thanks for showing how to use this nifty tool.
Thank you for a great explanation, now I need the grommet part. T4s
Thank you so much for this great video it helps a lot!
Thank you so much! So helpful! 🤩
Great Video Joshua!! On my way to buy one of these great tools. Thanks for explaining it.
Great video! Not editing the bloopers is good because it shows us how to troubleshoot or resolve an unexpected issue. Thanks!
That was really helpful, thanks 🙂
Oh thanks so much for doing this video!!!

Thanks, Joshua. Exactly what I needed to see. Still not certain which base cube position to use with my 3/16 eyelets. The backs get crushed so ugly.
