SCUM is an open world survival with a twist, yep - ZOMBIES! Now, to make things interesting... I've put MORE Zombies than normal in here!

You had a better time with the Hoarde then I did. I was looting in a small kitchen, when a fat puppet came to the window and made a sound I had never heard before. I knew instantly what its purpose was. I pulled out my cleaver (I knew the bow would be useless at this point) and rushed the window, hoping to keep them at bay. I took out four or five of them as they bum rushed me in return, until they started flying over my head like a witch on a broomstick... Needless to say, I respawned in a whole new neighborhood. Hopefully the natives will be more amenable to my company than my previous neighbors...

When you jump through a window stand about 2 steps back facing the window and the puppets can't jump thru.
stab vest will save you a bit in melee
The new puppet server settings are unified now. There's no distinction between exterior or interior. Since puppets can enter and exit buildings on their own, it makes sense. Thanks for the video!

Funny how now that we can craft our own nails they seem to be everywhere now when before they were one of the rarest items. At least for me anyway.
Horde system made the single player challenging, a good update though 👌

You should get into the habit of cutting up rags and then creating bundles of rags, and always use the scissors to cut up rags and make yourself the bow silencers

@@chrisw.6060 Not necessarly better rags, but when you use scissors to cut up items of clothing or bags you get a lot more rags as opposed to using any other item, same thing for using a chainsaw to cut logs you will get more planks per log with chainsaw as opposed to using an axe
@@Pirate_tat87 I can see using better equipment for rags but as far as wood goes I don't think it is necessary due to having an endless anount of wood in the map. Plus a chainsaw is got to be loud AF.
So basically the spawns have changed from being in all buildings/houses to them just wandering outside and once they are alerted, you get all of them at once. Great.
So now even if youre using a bow and being stealth and taking out puppets one by one (even max puppet settings the towns are empty so that doesnt really apply anymore) it only takes one to scream even if the puppet doesnt have line of sight on you.. and now youve triggered a horde... I searched a bin down the road from the police station atleast 50 metres away and the puppets upstairs aggro'd screamed and jumped out the top windows triggering a horde....???? I always have advanced stealth skill.. I use advanced camo... I only use bows.. and Suppressed pistol is my back up if i get rushed...How am I supposed to be stealthy if I cant even search and loot quietly.. theres no option to search more stealthily at a slower rate or it being tied to the stealth skill....I can hear players searching buildings from halfway across the town ffs.. so dumb ...but Now I open a drawer and find pink underwear i dont want and a puppet hears from the other side of a building and it triggers a horde.. amazing!!!!...

I'm having an issue with the jack mechanics. Got my car but could only lift one side not the other. Is this a known big or just me. Rage quit after losing my 3 wheeled car to a ditch after a day's worth of sourcing parts
