    I wish I had seen this before making the video, and I may need to do a follow up.
    If you wanna see how bad it is, the wife's instagram is here: instagram.com/p/CuxSfbCNRdf/
    It's Honestly gross: "you should've reached out directly to the weird ass woman sexualizing your husband", "you should've complained in a way that I wanted!" You'll need to scroll down, as Insta does a good job of hiding abuse.... but people are insane.
    You'll were milking off Booktok a few months ago.. his team were making all sort of thirst traps and encouraging their followers to do the same BUT now y'll wnna switch up since y'll got the followers and the attention y'll needed... U are putting one individual on blast But not his team who started this whole shenanigans.. gosh I hate u miserable old hags 😵‍💫
    It’s crazy how Kierra reached out to you and you still continued your racist rant against her.
    Girl you might as well apologize right now because what you did was distasteful af. To include a creator such as kierra in your little whiney rant when she has done nothing but make both your man AND you more money and popularity but used her platform and even played along with it. Shame on you
    You targeted a black woman on purpose. And your husband is not that attractive. I discovered how racist hockey was a long time ago! 0/10 don’t recommend!
    You are weaponizing your white woman tears. You could have simply asked her to take the video down and not created all this fake outlash. If you wanted to set a boundary you could have done so without attacking any creators, and done just that set the boundary and expectation without creating drama especially with a black woman. I’m sure you won’t see it that way but you Karen’s never do. If you were truly interested in a greater conversation you would have done this in a different way but you aren’t, your looking for attention hints the comments being left on for continued public opinion and attention to the matter.
    a white woman portraying a black woman in a negative manner and playing victim????? gasp! its never happened before 😧 so shocking!
    Girl didn’t you call your husband the “ panty, dropper of book talk “ just say he most likely cheated and you don’t like it keep it pushing
    We should just go back to when no one cared who you or your husband were. The Kraken (including your husband) fully took advantage of the BookTok hype and now that you got the views and the followers it’s a problem. You could have just never participated. Glad to have you out of my sphere honestly. The Savanna Banana’s would never.
    Not your husband cheating so now you don't want people posting about him 😂
    Everyone in this comment section should recognize this tactic for what it truly is: RACISM BEING WEAPOINZIE BY A WHITE WOMAN. She did not have a problem with Kierra's content because booktok was giving the team a lot of attention. More attention = more fans = more money to support the team and more money for her and her husband. Now that its over, booktok fans are still around and I suspect there is an uptick of Black Women and Women of Color are shooting their shot in the DMS and/or approaching her husband. By attacking Kierra, she's sending a message to everyone to stay away from her man. By attacking Kierra, she's using racist dog whistles that white women have been using since the dawn of time. #realtea
    So your husband and his team profit off a black woman all season long and now you’re sending racist ass hockey fans after her. You should be ashamed.
    This goes on, and on, and on.

      Aside from the obviously bad situation here, it is remarkable to me how many of those commenters believe that a hockey player's popularity and exposure on social media has any bearing at all on the success of their hockey career. Every player out there is uncomfortable because they all know there's a younger, fast, hungry, player, looking over their shoulder 100% of the time. Its one of the reasons NHL players are so reluctant to take time off from injury. The average career is what, 4-5 years, right? Social media doesn't have anything to do with that, unless GM's are sitting around the table saying "Well, I think this guys' social media success will really help us get a few more in the win column and make us a playoff team. Have you seen the number of followers he's got? We could be a contender next year!"

      Being a guy that has had a ton of women friends since I was a kid this is how they think , Double standards don't bother them unfortunately . They see nothing wrong with sexually harassing guys even if it is older women and teen boys or if they have a GF or Wife to try and get with him , I was harassed as a teen boy constantly by older women/chicks moms and such and when I was older in my early 20s would have lots of older married women make it known they wanted it . If guys did any of that they would seriously think he's a massive piece or crap or a criminal , I love women and respect them but its a serious blindness they have to that kind of hypocrisy .

      @SoozBeez Рік тому +8

      Actually, no. It's not a "national headline" because stuff like this happens to women - both famous and not - every day and has for as long as there's been an internet and, when the victim is a woman, lots of people think the solution is for her to just not have social media presence.
      I am not justifying this situation AT ALL. But the notion that this would be taken more seriously if the victim were a woman is demonstrably wrong.

    • @nicorobin5978
      @nicorobin5978 Рік тому +1

      If you're going to tell me with a straight face that if Serena Williams or someone was facing serial sexual harassment online from booktok that it wouldn't make headlines, not really sure what to say.
      I don't disagree at all that women face WAYYYY more of this than men. But whereas people are finally starting to come around to that being wrong when it comes to women, there is no white knighting when it comes to men. I've heard stories where a girl will touch a guy inappropriately without consent and their friends will call them "gay" for being bothered by it.
      Think we're on the same page with it being wrong in any role with any gender and with women getting the lion's share of the unwanted comments by a mile, but I do think people react very differently when genders are reversed. This comment section seems pretty understanding of it, but most of the internet would react in a "not a big deal", "who cares", kind of way.

    • @isthatrubble
      @isthatrubble Рік тому

      in 2010 most online fan communities of this kind (being a fan of an athlete for reasons beyond how good of a player they are) would ostracize anyone who tried to get the attention of the team or the players directly, or who commented on the team or players social media in the same way they talked with their fan friends about the players. we expected fellow fans to keep that kind of stuff away from the players because they shouldn't have to see it. we know it's weird so it's our responsibility to keep it to private parts of the internet.
      sometime between then and now I guess people forgot those rules, because this kind of thing is just wrong.
