That Lethal Thunder game is like the perfect bridge between 80s and 90s shoot em up.
If you want to explain to a stranger of the genre what exactky is a top down shoot em up is that's the game you show.

I'm searching for vertical shooting air/space ship, can transformable into 2 mode, and chargeable when you don't shoot. I forgot what its name.
I remember the first ship is blue color with fire cannon charge, the second ship can transform into white ship color and shoots black missiles. The game has charge attack also bombs, but I forgot the bomb's shape..

I've seen so many shmups compilation videos but this one has several lesser known games like thunder dragon series, task force harrier, air duel etc.
Thunder Dragon 1 and 2 are incredible Air Duel is good ever check out Air Gallet?
@@JohnGavalas-xh5ub after seeing the gameplay, i think i played air gallet once or twice when i was a little kid many decades ago. I still remember when i'm playing it in a hotel's semi outdoor amusement center. Thanks for unlocking a part of my childhood memory.

in which after each stage, you need to connect the shuttle head onto the body, gradually connecting all. Anyone who knows the title please let me know.
find a plane shooting game
Description: vertical screen, dropping bombs is a large circle assembled from many small circles, when Player 2 drops bombs together, they combine to form a large electric circle. Regarding ammo, there is one that when upgrading the last bullet will shoot out like a cloud, but around that cloud there is a blue line that bends around like dragons hugging that pillar and chasing the enemy. The bullets fired are exactly the same as the Dogyuun game, but the graphics are better
If anyone knows, I'm looking for a this game for some time now. It's vertical, you collect 5 planes and become a firebird for a little while, the planes can join together as one or split up into 5. Just can't remember the name of it.
I was hoping to find a ship game where the graphics were very realistic for the time, I remember shooting upwards and where the final bosses were motherships. From time to time some metallic camels would appear in the middle of the screen, you had to shoot them and then a helicopter would appear that would launch a parachute and when you caught it, it would shoot a green laser.
The ship could become invisible to dodge the bullets and in the last final stage, there were some Moais that you had to shoot at their eyes. It was one of the best games I had the luck to play...
If anyone knows the name of this game I would be very grateful.

i was looking for a long time a game where you can play with an A-10 alike plane (there where others, but that one was my favorite) and one of the bosses was a massive train cannon...if somebody could help me with the name, all my good waves will go to him/her!

Hello, i'm looking for the name of a shoot em up arcade game, it was set up in space, the player 1 was kind of look like "Liu Kang", red pant and player 2 was blondie and blue pant (maybe green), they bot fly in the space using a flying disc, and shoot powers at enemies. Please help im looking for finding this game since very long.

I’m looking for this shooter game, it’s set like in space and you can get upgrades for your ship i think. the ending is you go back through time and is like a new game plus. You also play it horizontally like platypus.

I play lots of shooting game but many of them are not great at making you a better player. I would suggest sticking with one developer like CAVE which has flow where you start noticing playing shootem ups. Psykio games are fun and beautiful but very unfair despise looking easy

Don't get me wrong, I love the work but what PC was this played on, there's frame drops everywhere, old MAME, underpowered pc? Compare say 1941 to an Arcade machine and the difference is clear....Its great what was done but the missing frame mar it a little..
Some of that is fair, but here is an explanation. The PC is the same pc I use for all my videos, and can handles high frame rates in videos. (See any ps4 elgato captured videos). Some of these games don't work with newer versions of Mame, despite my efforts to get them to work. Finally, the first 61 games were rendered at different settings (higher) due to an updated video editor. However, this upgrade was clearly not finished so I reverted back to a slightly older version of the editor (which has made the bulk of my videos since mid 2018). I know it's not perfect, but I think the final output is very decent after 4 plus weeks of work making it. Thanks for the comment however.
@@Novabug Please don't take bad feeling from it, its great what you have done and its a mammoth task, also UA-cams encoding won't help but at the end of the day its done a service to see such a mass collection of games of a type people like in one well edited place. For that side I applaud your work and do keep it up, you may just run foul of some of the later games with high demands. I appreciate my initial post (now) looks attacking but its not and to be fair others would see the drops and maybe comment, I just tried (and failed) to do it in a productive way), apologies for that.....Keep up the great work...
