Yeah, the noise floor on the ECM W2BT seems high even when I use it directly connected to my camera. I didn’t do any editing to it either. I’m no audio expert, but maybe it’s the VXLR or the cable I used, or maybe it’s the unit itself. I’m not exactly sure. They did just come out the ECM W3 that I’d like to test out.
Via USBC, I can get it to work with my MacBook, but not my iPhone. To get it to work with my iPhone, I had to use the line out of the F3 with a TRS to lightning cable.
I just got the F3 and was wondering about the set up with wireless mics like the DJI mic. I did buy the Rode VXLR+ so thanks for that note about needing to turn off the phantom power on the F3 for mics that don’t need it. If you had another video or short about what the set up looks like with the DJI mic and F3 I’d love to see that. Thanks
