Holy fucking fuck music is the best thing we have ever created
Wow. This made me cry and realize how much I love this band. Bless whomever arranged this.
lol, thanks for this post! I started watching this and became totally emotional! The male and female dialogue within the choir! The joy on the conductors face and singing the lyrics! I was thinking...."what the hell is wrong with me!!?" lol....fun video!!
8 years later and I still engaged with this... the best cover of this Hymn, a waltz perfectly played ...
Amazing..one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite bands...I didn't know this existed.
absolute chills. this is perfection.
The kids did a great job singing, but the band fucking killed it too.
I’m not crying, yer crying
I love when they sing ‘Pond Champlain’
(The Champlain Bridge)
Takes me back to Montreal

I am sooo impressed with the woman conducting these arrangements. She possesses an amazing musical library!! way to go on bringing indie / great songs for us to hear!!!
i teared up from the epicness
So wonderful to see these young people enjoying their passion, and giving others joy! Go Robbie!
Wow I just watched this and moved me, one of my favorite songs with such a wonderful chorus.
A true tribute, executed to the perfection. Thank you so much for sharing. ❤
Shoegaze all day.
Masterful choral arrangement and presentation and tight accompanying ensemble!
Stunning. Waving back in tears.
At the time, one of my best friends showed me the original. But it didn't work. I was depressed, and she hated me for it. I couldn't do anything but back away from our friendship. I do miss her, she was a fantastic writer. But my depression wasn't something I could control. I do hope she is well.
This is fantastic-- It deserves more LIKES, that's for sure
:) brought a smile to my face. Thank you!
This is one of my favourite songs, this is an amazing performance,
Gorgeous. Beautiful work.

1/11/19
cracks me up....the guys are so pathetic with the delivery
The ladies bring it... ....c'mon dudes.....let's go!!!
Lovely how weird this is. The song itself, of course, but this choir of kids that live there. Thanks to them for their generosity. Can't tell if they're good singers. I suppose they are. But their lack of heart in it all works so well it's hard to wish that they planned it that way.
To me this song is Bout getting to meet a girl you saw at school but never could meet. Then years later in the big bad world you meet again. And you gain some nerve because you went to the same school. Or church or camp.. so the brain fires away and you rise into love and then some time later you just want some one else.. aww human behavior
Maybe. It says more to me that 2 people have it a go for a short time, but it didn't work out. Then there is the bitter-sweetness of running into each other much later, thinking what could have been, but ultimately deciding it worked out for the best. Two people who reached out and made a brief intense connection within the vast sea of humanity. It is a beautiful, melancholy thought.
Maybe because I am nearly 40 and have had a fair number of those sorts of encounters, whereas you sound younger. Your world becomes so much broader and somewhat more lonely as you age. I have a wife I love dearly but that doesn't mean I don't think about the past late at night (it is 4:41am where I am).
@@ashleysmith1276 You are 100% correct, this is one of the most beautiful songs about a past relationship that has ever been written. They repeat the line "I'm not sorry there's nothing to say" because it's extremely impactful and important.
Good shit, but getting some serious ye olde mega-church vibes
The first two lines should've been a male-soprano/female baritone, then the choir. Then the chorus should be less male heavy. The song is a female-centric song, no?
Band is
good choir sucks
Could only do so much vocally with this song. Keep in mind they need to stay in key
