jim is actually a genius. there are many hints for that in the series. that he is good in pranks is also because of his older brothers, who used to prank him all the time (or still do lol).

Best part of that one is that it was supposed to be a slow leak where Dwight's head slowly sinks below the level of the desk, but after asking for "one more take," Jon happened to hit the seam of the ball causing the rapid failure the director used in the final cut.
I love that Dwight either made kevin take off his shirt and pants or he did it on his own while dwight was on the call with nelly lmao

I feel like the Christmas present desk took way more effort than moving his desk into the bathroom... He had to move his desk out for it... AND then use wrapping paper to mimic everything. It would probably take even more time to set up than the Matrix gag.
simplest prank would be lying to Dwight that tomorrow is Saturday. Dwight misinterpreted the current day in the first place, and Jim realised that an opportunity for pranking him further just came by itself

The show is from Eastern, Pennsylvania Scranton, Dwight family and farm is near in Honesdale. Like to know how he became proficient and skinny mule deer when there are no mule deer in Pennsylvania. That would’ve been Whitetail in Penn Pennsylvania. 😂

I would argue the wrapped desk prank requires more effort than moving the desk to the bathroom. Jim had to move the desk and make the wrapped decoy as opposed to just moving it.
Dwight's desk was Jim favorite prank object: Move it to men bathroom, gift wrapped it, the quad desk, and send it overnight to New Mexico 😂

Bruh I literally sit next to a guy that is pretty much Dwight but a little less weird and I constantly pull pranks on him when I get bored, like switching the colors of all of his pens or taking out the metal spiral from two notebooks and randomly switch some pages between them 💀
