I think this man is right in a sense. I am a follower of Christ Jesus and I struggle daily with sin. I consider myself to be the lowest in the kingdom and if I am counted worthy to be a blade of grass in the kingdom I would be lucky. I believe in the Bible cuz it is the word who is God and was with God and all things came to be through him because he is the way the truth in the life the vine and all of us are the branches and if we follow his instruction since he is the Good Shepherd then we bear fruit. But we also have to be pruned as branches dead pieces of the branch or the overgrowth has to be pruned off so that a flower might bloom and fruit might be born. This is when we step ahead of ourselves and of Christ and try to go on our own and we slip and fall. But we have this amazing God who will leave the 99 in the kingdom and seek you and when he finds you though you're muddy and filthy in the pigs field he lifts you up on his shoulders and rejoice with all of heaven because he found his lost sheep. If you stick with Christ Jesus he will perfect you slowly in my case he chose one to two things at a time and he really worked on those with me and some of the things he radically changed overnight. And the more my faith grew the less I started sinning habitually. I still sin on occasion and sometimes I seek it out. If your eye is full of darkness then your whole body will be full of darkness and if your whole body is full of darkness how great then is that darkness. So instead of seeking sin I seek God daily through his son our Lord and Savior and my personal redeemer Jesus Christ love in the flesh. And I'm a better husband, father and servant because of it. People much love stay in the struggle for the way to life is hard pressed and narrow lonely. Through long suffering builds endurance and obedience. So you might sin but get up Don't stay down be blessed brothers and sisters encourage one another lift each other up. From one sinner to another much love in Jesus name Amen.

I have finally been freed of my lifelong addiction of nicotine, alcohol, weed, sex, and pornography. I still have desires of lust, but I have been winning that battle with Christ alone. Ive been struggling with swearing and eyes that look for women even though I am fighting it mentally I am aware of it. Anytime that I do I ask our lord for forgiveness, and to help me overcome these sins, yet I keep on doing it. I genuinely want to live my life for the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Everyday is kind of like a lesson that I get to learn something new everyday through him alone. I still struggle with being unhappy from my past life. l get mad at little things like the other day I had to clean off dog poop that my neighbor left by my door, and I said “I f-ing hate my neighbors and their dogs” over and over, but I was asking for forgiveness every other sentence. I haven’t even met them, but my mouth is uttering those words that I shouldn’t say, and I don’t even truly feel. I don’t want to let things like that get in my way of being Christ like any longer. I’m sick of the sinful lifestyle. I just want a real relationship with our Heavenly Father more than anything.
Make sure you repent for ALL your sins. Look over your life and identify them. You will find thousands of sins you have committed against God and man. You should feel remorse in your heart for having committed them. Then ask Jesus to forgive them all and to help you to never do them again, but to live righteously, in his will in all thoughts, words and deeds. Ask him to send you the Holy Spirit to give you the strength to concor sins as you will NOT be able to do it on your own. Study God's Word daily, pray daily. He will lead you in all things. Like with anything, the more you practice this the easier and more natural it will become.

Providence and happenstance put me figuratively and literally at the doorstep of the orthodox church after leaving catholicism, turning to drug then getting clean. I felt called but inexplicably reluctant, i realize now it's because i had an expectation the apostate church would "help". Oh how i would have felt hurt when seeming authorities on Earth would have inevitably cast me out for my true belief. I don't think i wouldve handled it well at all, as the devil would hope. Youve sent me to ask Jesus instead and it's clear it wasnt him calling. I was told not to ask broadly for help for you dont know who'll answer but i needed this reminder. A few years ago I had a problem, since my childhood I was serving in church, I was studying the word of God, God gently pushed me towards Jesus Christ, but I told Him in prayer, God, you tell me not to worship anyone but You, how can I respect Your word? Then God showed me a big mountain, I didn't understand at the time but with perseverance and the great help of the Holy Spirit, I finally understood the vision, the mountain represented God and this mountain had 3 faces, Father, Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, the mountain is not 3 but one, but when you turn around it you see different aspects of the same mountain. May God bless you all and with the help of the Holy Spirit, we will all come back to Him.

1 John 1 (written to believers) 8If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. There IS victory over much sin. I have been granted victory over gripping sin! PRAISE HIM! I also get discouraged when told that I will never be free from sin until glory, but he is faithful and righteous to grant victory through crying out in faithfulness. The word CLEARLY states the truth: We still sin and I suspect it is to keep us humble. Pray for this man!! He faces a greater condemnation for teaching this.
Paul also taught the church at Corinth how to avoid hardening their hearts. The Corinthians were saved people so it would have been pointless for Paul to teach them how to not harden their hearts if being saved meant you become sinless. This is why Paul hated his flesh and it's why he left a thorn in his own side. It was to keep him humble from pride and being puffed up. Paul knew his nature, and so should we.

You are forgiven once by the atonement of Jesus, the perfect sacrifice (a sacrifice similar to the Old Testament sacrifice), and after You are forgiven, You receive by faith the gift of the Holy Spirit, Jesus's Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues, this is essential. He enables you to walk holy and it is easy. That is why He is called the "comforter". This is the grace, this power. Jesus said "I did not find your works PERFECT, REPENT AND OVERCOME, OTHERWISE, I WILL TAKE YOUR CANDLESTICK AWAY".. Jesus also said "Be ye perfect, as your Father who is in Heaven is perfect". This is possible, and not only possible, it is a requirement. Walk in the light.. repent.. LIVE!

Are bad thoughts sin or only if acted upon do they become sin? When I work on my truck trying to get a 3" bolt out of a 1"" space.... Sometimes I become a not so happy camper. Just for an example.

The only way to a holier life is through surrendering to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Its a daily process of picking up our cross, denying ourselves and following Christ. If we backslide then he chastens us back to His will life any father will do. If you ignore His guidance then you harden your heart and Paul taught saved people at Corinth how to avoid having a hard heart. If he was talking to saved people then saved people still sin. God will turn you over to a reprobate mind if you harden your hearts. In Matthew 5 Jesus says if your right hand causes you to sin then cut it off. He was speaking to his disciples when he said it. Its an exaggeration but it makes a clear point about saved people sinning.
Bad thoughts isn’t you sinning, it’s trying to tempt you to sin. It’s if you act it out yourself in mouth or action. Take every bad thought captive. Rebuke it in Jesus. Go I don’t agree with that thought in the name of Jesus.

Not all will receive the same gift it says in the new testament. One may be given the gift of speaking in tongues while another is given the gift to prophesy. Paul also says pray for the gift to prophesy.

I think this man is right in a sense. I am a follower of Christ Jesus and I struggle daily with sin. I consider myself to be the lowest in the kingdom and if I am counted worthy to be a blade of grass in the kingdom I would be lucky. I believe in the Bible cuz it is the word who is God and was with God and all things came to be through him because he is the way the truth in the life the vine and all of us are the branches and if we follow his instruction since he is the Good Shepherd then we bear fruit. But we also have to be pruned as branches dead pieces of the branch or the overgrowth has to be pruned off so that a flower might bloom and fruit might be born. This is when we step ahead of ourselves and of Christ and try to go on our own and we slip and fall. But we have this amazing God who will leave the 99 in the kingdom and seek you and when he finds you though you're muddy and filthy in the pigs field he lifts you up on his shoulders and rejoice with all of heaven because he found his lost sheep. If you stick with Christ Jesus he will perfect you slowly in my case he chose one to two things at a time and he really worked on those with me and some of the things he radically changed overnight. And the more my faith grew the less I started sinning habitually. I still sin on occasion and sometimes I seek it out. If your eye is full of darkness then your whole body will be full of darkness and if your whole body is full of darkness how great then is that darkness. I have finally been freed of my lifelong addiction of nicotine, alcohol, weed, sex, and pornography. I still have desires of lust, but I have been winning that battle with Christ alone. Ive been struggling with swearing and eyes that look for women even though I am fighting it mentally I am aware of it. Anytime that I do I ask our lord for forgiveness, and to help me overcome these sins, yet I keep on doing it. I genuinely want to live my life for the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Everyday is kind of like a lesson that I get to learn something new everyday through him alone. I still struggle with being unhappy from my past life. l get mad at little things like the other day I had to clean off dog poop that my neighbor left by my door, and I said “I f-ing hate my neighbors and their dogs” over and over, but I was asking for forgiveness every other sentence. I haven’t even met them, but my mouth is uttering those words that I shouldn’t say, and I don’t even truly feel. I don’t want to let things like that get in my way of being Christ like any longer. I’m sick of the sinful lifestyle. I just want a real relationship with our Heavenly Father more than anything.

Make sure you repent for ALL your sins. Look over your life and identify them. You will find thousands of sins you have committed against God and man. You should feel remorse in your heart for having committed them. Then ask Jesus to forgive them all and to help you to never do them again, but to live righteously, in his will in all thoughts, words and deeds. Ask him to send you the Holy Spirit to give you the strength to concor sins as you will NOT be able to do it on your own. Study God's Word daily, pray daily. He will lead you in all things. Like with anything, the more you practice this the easier and more natural it will become.

Providence and happenstance put me figuratively and literally at the doorstep of the orthodox church after leaving catholicism, turning to drug then getting clean. I felt called but inexplicably reluctant, i realize now it's because i had an expectation the apostate church would "help". Oh how i would have felt hurt when seeming authorities on Earth would have inevitably cast me out for my true belief. I don't think i wouldve handled it well at all, as the devil would hope. Youve sent me to ask Jesus instead and it's clear it wasnt him calling. I was told not to ask broadly for help for you dont know who'll answer but i needed this reminder. A few years ago I had a problem, since my childhood I was serving in church, I was studying the word of God, God gently pushed me towards Jesus Christ, but I told Him in prayer, God, you tell me not to worship anyone but You, how can I respect Your word?
Then God showed me a big mountain, I didn't understand at the time but with perseverance and the great help of the Holy Spirit, I finally understood the vision, the mountain represented God and this mountain had 3 faces, Father, Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, the mountain is not 3 but one, but when you turn around it you see different aspects of the same mountain.

There IS victory over much sin. I have been granted victory over gripping sin! PRAISE HIM! I also get discouraged when told that I will never be free from sin until glory, but he is faithful and righteous to grant victory through crying out in faithfulness. The word CLEARLY states the truth: We still sin and I suspect it is to keep us humble.

Paul also taught the church at Corinth how to avoid hardening their hearts. The Corinthians were saved people so it would have been pointless for Paul to teach them how to not harden their hearts if being saved meant you become sinless. This is why Paul hated his flesh and it's why he left a thorn in his own side. It was to keep him humble from pride and being puffed up. Paul knew his nature, and so should we.

The only way to a holier life is through surrendering to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Its a daily process of picking up our cross, denying ourselves and following Christ. If we backslide then he chastens us back to His will life any father will do. If you ignore His guidance then you harden your heart and Paul taught saved people at Corinth how to avoid having a hard heart. If he was talking to saved people then saved people still sin. God will turn you over to a reprobate mind if you harden your hearts. In Matthew 5 Jesus says if your right hand causes you to sin then cut it off. He was speaking to his disciples when he said it. Its an exaggeration but it makes a clear point about saved people sinning.
Bad thoughts isn’t you sinning, it’s trying to tempt you to sin. It’s if you act it out yourself in mouth or action. Take every bad thought captive. Rebuke it in Jesus. Go I don’t agree with that thought in the name of Jesus.

We don't need to speak in tongues in order to be received by the Father in heaven but we do need to have the Holy Spirit
Not everyone gets each gift. Most people fake this one with random mumbles & that's clearly not what the scriptures say it is. ❤
Not all will receive the same gift it says in the new testament. One may be given the gift of speaking in tongues while another is given the gift to prophesy.

Even if a sinful thought enters your mind, you sin "dying to self" means putting to death the sinful ways and lifestyles of the past, and living in obedience to God.
