Thank you so much. I was using a German book (translate ld into English) and the written instructions made very little sense.
They were absolutely accurate but I needed to see the shawl effect and the YO and purl were all in one step.

I bought a pattern/yarn combo that was translated from German. The translation was incorrect. This video made me understand HOW it was incorrect. I now am able to knit this pattern properly. Thank YOU!!!
