I was at that game!!! That was an out of body experience. That game changed my life. Got tickets from a sculper for endzone seats really cheap. I remember there was no way i was going to miss this once and a lifetime opportunity.
This team was the closest to being a dynasty team. If they could have had a few less injuries to the key players. If Fantuz had stayed around, I bet you he wished he had. And one star offensive lineman they could have dominated the league for years. rider nation can't get enough of this game. There are a lot more fans than any other team out there that would agree. Even Tom Hanks enjoyed that game. It's too bad that fans from other teams are so fickle and only find the time to cheer for their team when there wining. Rider fans have stuck with their team through thick and thin , not like the john doe's of this world. If they had, the C.F.L. would be a healthier league.
As a color commentator, Suitor is NO La Police. What gives this guy any relevance except is hours of watching CFL film? He was a no body as a player and now as an announcer.
totally fluked out by the Riders. And to this day they still act like they "went all in" they weren't even the best team in the West, nevermind the league. A dark day for the CFL.
@@David-uf1lm you can’t be bothered to check an easily googleable fact… It was second place. Many teams have won the Grey Cup after finishing second in their division. It’s hardly a fluke. Even the handful of teams who’ve won the Grey Cup from third place have earned it. On the 2013 Riders specifically: they were a stacked team that started the season 9-1 making their opponents look like total amateurs along the way. A slump in September, coinciding with an injury to Kory Sheets, cost us first place, but getting back to form by the end of the regular season and winning the Western Final rendered that completely meaningless. Ask any fan in Edmonton what their greatest season was: none of them will say 1989. If you want to know why that’s relevant, google it. Perhaps you’re a Stamps fan rationalizing why your team practically gave us the West Final a week before this game
@@aidanwotherspoon905 I said 2nd or 3rd. You said the team walked through the league like it was on easy mode, this is obviously false, they didnt even finish 1st in their division, nevermind the league.
@David I personally think it was a legendary moment for the riders and rider nation since this was only 6 years after their 2007 grey cup victory. They got to party again in an even bigger way. You just have to accept that this really happened, and that the riders don't always lose.

If 'ifs' and 'buts' was candies and nuts, we'd all have a merry Christmas.

Cry about it
This is one of the stupidest takes uttered about this team. They made the league look like a video game on easy mode all that summer
@@aidanwotherspoon905 they finished 3rd in the west, or 2nd. wtf are you talking about?
