Excellent upgrade on your original design. Love the fact that the slope for extra strength enables you to have the LED strip at an angle for what I assume would give you even better lighting. If I could ask you to modify the side panels to contain the vents as not needing to open the door of the X1C whilst printing PLA and PETG is a huge bonus. Thanks again for all your efforts.
I just ordered one of the BL LED Controllers for my X1. I like how it turns off the lights during lidar activity so that doesn't get messed with. However, I also want one for my P1S. I found the channel Indian Benchy has made a project with the ESP8266 based on the DutchDevelopers work. Indian Benchy's version is based on 12V leds which is really what I want to use anyway. I was going to reverse engineer the DutchDeveloper's board when I received it, but as usual the internet has saved me the trouble. Thanks again for yet another great design. As others have stated you should add vent options to the new design.
I am brand new to 3-D printing. I guess that makes me a newbie! I ordered a X1 carbon. I don't think I'm proficient enough with studio yet to be able to make ventilation holes in the sides. Are you going to be adding that anytime soon? I really appreciate watching your video. I've learned an awful lot and I don't even have my printer yet. Thank you very much. Hopefully you can reply and let me know about the vents.
Good news! I have been working on a version with vents. The parts are printing for final verification. Should be just a couple more days so stay tuned.👍👍
Those are very nice updates. I printed off 2 of the first version and they are working great with the AMS on top of both. I really like the part that allow you to cable tie wires. I did that for the 5V USB LED light strips. Im still learning CAD modeling, but can you make the connectors slides that work similar to the BLV AMS Riser by Ben Levi? It should remove the small gap in the seam or at least hide it better. Again, not sure how difficult that would be. The only other suggestion would be to add a vertical piece thats maybe 4mm wide and on the inside edge so when using LED strips, youd run the strip between it and the front-inner side. That way when the adhesive does fail, its still restricted to stay inside the piece. Anyway, just some ideas. Im printing a remix of the BLV AMS Riser now but really prefer yours for how minimalistic it is. It does exactly what i wanted, a small riser to keep the ptfe tube from scraping the top and led strip integration. Thanks so much for creating it!

I will definitely be adding some vents on the side panels.👍👍
Nice!! Thanks For Your Hard Work Making This Available 😊🍻
My pleasure 😊
Nice update. The vents are a great addition that you should consider adding back to this design.
Definitely will. That is probably next on the list.👍👍
Excellent presentation. I learned something.
👍👍
Man I wish I had one of these printers so bad. Great design by the way!
Thanks!, 👍👍
Excellent work , well done thanks

I think I would rather work with 12V or USB also. I will definitely add the vents as an option.👍👍
Do you even know that Bambu kept the lighting low as extra light affects the accuracy of the LIDAR ?

Thanks for the input. I'll check out the other riser. I have some additional updates that I will be publishing in a couple of days, so stay tuned! 👍👍
