It's not funny, and you are not circus freaks to be gawked at. Offer help when you see this. Just do it. Don't laugh, don't stare, just be kind. Please.

Actually... yeah. Tourette's can be like this. Mine is, anyway. The more you think about a tic (for example, thinking about trying to stop it, or worrying that it might happen) the more likely it is to happen. When I was a kid my mom tried making up code words to say instead of "tics" and "Tourette's" because whenever someone mentioned it around me my tics would act up. (This didn't work. Since I obviously knew what she was talking about, the code words had the exact same effect.)
It’s interesting that you tic a lot less when you’re singing. My friend when I was young had a lot of ADHD but when she was reciting lines for the school play she was so calm and focused.
my friend has tourettes but when she is reading from a script and there is one of her trigger words in it, she doesn't tic at all because she is focused on the acting

We have yet to understand the advanced methods that our animal colleagues understand our (human) emotions. Our animals deserve our respect, just as we should respect each other ❤️🙏🏼
I have Tourette's syndrome and life is 10 times harder than it is for everyone else. Simple tasks become difficult, I am so grateful that you feel comfortable enough to video your tics and then post them. Whenever mine happens I get beyond embarrassed but I love the way you're comfortable enough to be yourself, even on camera. You're such an inspiration to me.
If you don't mind me asking, what kind of things do your tics get excited over because I've seen them get excited over many different things haha? Love the intro too btw. I also want to mention how amazing you are. You have had many bad moments with your tourettes and even other issues but you still manage to stay positive which I find fantastic. We love you Evie. I'm glad my kid never got into biting. But he does like to kick my ribs while were sitting down together. Or tackle me or surprise choke me. I'm like woah you gotta chill I'm a girl. So he's learning to be gentle.

So crazy how singing suppresses your tourettes. I have a stammer and have since I was 4, and singing is one of the only ways to truly allow myself to speak in full flow. Apparently it's because signing uses our right side hemisphere, and most motor skills like talking are using the left side.
