Colorado Circles for Change (CCFC) in Denver addresses food insecurity through its Healthy Hood Initiative, led by Program Manager Paloma Soto. Growing up in the Globeville/North Washington area, Soto experienced the challenges of food apartheid firsthand. The initiative aims to alleviate financial burdens by providing families with access to nutritious and culturally relevant food, ensuring they receive it with dignity.
