Its a real shame that she never got big. The songs sung by her in the series and especially this one are not half-bad, very ABBA or even Laura Branigan-esque, and very 80s that nowadays would garner a lot of nostalgia and renewed popularity

As a child I used to love the Terrahawks. This is easily the best song from the series. I wish they would produce an up to date version of this track. I think it would make an awesome dance hit. ❤❤❤❤❤
Never really got the lyrics on the first run of the series back in the day, but when I rewatched the series on Tubi, it totally hit me what the song was about. Of course I watched the other series, fully, and figured out the song was about the fictional international rescue team from the series Thunderbirds. A lot of reading this probably think I'm pretty thick for not getting it earlier and you'd be totally right. As a kid I didn't really pay attention to the music and tuned in for the action. Now as an adult I totally love it.

I've heard that in the mid 1980s Gerry Anderson was planning to follow up Terrahawks with a remake of Thunderbirds called T-Force but couldn't get the funding for it. I think that the real life purpose of this song was to forshadow T-Force by heavily implying that the Tracy brothers and International Rescue also existed in the Terrahawks universe.
Fun fact: He was actually GOING to make a remake of Thunderbirds, but for some reason he changed his mind or was forced to come up with a new show (I can't remember, which, and if it's the latter, I can't remember why either) and so he made "Terrahawks" instead. Of course the shows themselves don't have anything to do with eachother except for their 'art style' for lack of a better term + that they filmed it with puppets, and how advanced technology is in the two series, but you can clearly see the similarities with the name "Thunder/Terra" "Birds/Hawks" you know what I mean?
@@tracytron7162 IIRC the Gerry Anderson shows are in some loose connected universe but Ive got no idea of how this would fit into the timeline as the song refers to International Rescue and this series is meant to be around 2020 and I think Thunderbirds is set around 2067. Same here! I hope it happens soon. Uncut, full length versions of each song on CD. I wonder though, if she was only meant to create short song clips for the show Terrahawks and not full songs in some instances. What ever happened to Moya Griffiths? I'd like to see an interview.
