For that level where you had to use the viewer, you should put a comment showing where the hidden Yoshi is. Panga does that frequently in order to prevent those levels from ruining people's Endless runs.

I feel like I'm in a minority here, I think the second level was really creative. It just suffered from a lack of quality of life features that made it unnecessarily difficult and tedious when you made a mistake. Iwata once opined that the reason NES games were all so hard was because the developers spent all their time playing their own games, getting good at them, and then tweaking the difficulty so they would feel challenged. I think this level suffered the same lack of foresight, but otherwise had a lot of great ideas.

There was nothing wrong with the level. Super creative and challenging. DGR just gets really frustrated when faced with a level he’s not good enough to complete and instead of being frustrated with himself he calls the level garbage. Easily the biggest annoyance watching his videos. The vast majority of his deaths were stupid, preventable deaths and instead of trying to improve skill wise he just tries to go faster and faster and dying in even worse spots.
12:30 to answer the "where's the Fire Flower?" question, you were too good at the level the second time around. You got there before the P-Switch fully ended, and the Fire Flower either fell through the floor or your timing was so precise it vanished into the blocks as they turned back.

I admit I have an uncleared (or I think its uncleared still, I haven't played MM2 in months) that I dislike. I keep it up because it was such an accomplishment to beat. took me three straight days and I keep it for the memories and like a reminder to not do things that I did in the level. Anyways, for those whose wondering about the level... it was made around the time MM2 came out, its a ghost house level (forgot the style I think New Sup or the other one that's not the older style games). The clear condition (so no checkpoints) is to kill all ghost and have to collect a lot red/pink coins along the way (you can cheese though the locked door, but there's kinda no point as the key coins are on the path with the boos). Even with 500 seconds, it was very close running out of time, so not a lot of room to mess up. If you run into it I'm sorry, but thank you for going and giving a clear on unclear levels
You could've cheesed any power up out of the "i hate this level" blue pipe section to go back to the beginning with the bullet, or leaf flying with the star. Edit: The more I think about it, I think it's by design, my guess is that there's a door, key, and or pipe hidden in the sky at the beginning.

Yo this level viewer gonna be way too much fun. Like for instance, the person hated their level so much, they put in a convoluted as hell dev skip that basically lets you get right to that final bowser room with many powerups. All it took was going right for the first locked door, grabbing the leaf, going back up the pipe, flying up top from the beginning, and falling into a room with 4 powerups and 2 hidden bomb blocks near the beginning that blow through a wall to the pipe that exits where the fire flowers came out for the bottom part of the bowser fight. Simple.

the difficulty on uncleared levels is all ai guessing based on what the level looks like because the main factor when levels are grouped easy/normal/expert/super expert is clear rate and of course all the clear rates on an uncleared level are going to be 0. as a level gets cleared, now the game has more factors to determine like how many plays it actually took to clear it. thats how you get uncleared super expert levels in the expert filter. i dont have your confidence and stick to normal levels when im doing uncleared and play levels that were super easy and levels I never had a shot at it

DGR saying "it's nice not seeing as many #DGR levels" is basically saying "It's nice not seeing people make as many levels for me as they used to" which is kind of weird that he would say that. Kind of a slap in the face to his fans that have taken time to create levels dedicated to him.
I would guess he feels inclined to play them and he’s saying it’s nice to not have so many levels that he HAS to play and has more choice, but it also is a weirdly worded statement.
I think that might have to do with how notorious #DGR levels are for being hot garbage BY INTENT, where people made him a level that's intentionally bad. They were pretty notorious pitfalls in Super Expert.

Even the bad level creators are viewers which also help DGR provide for his family by being part of the reason he can do this gig full time. So he should appreciate all the levels, not crap on them or say he's glad he doesn't see them a lot anymore. It sounds like he is starting to take for granted the fact he gets to play video games as a job.
The reason Mario Makers lost popularity is because of all the bull crap people been making.. if people actually gave two ChapSticks about making a halfway decent level and levels that are actually worth playing were easier to come by then it would be a lot more popular; but alas, not everyone cares enough to be a game developer

Another reason was that video games weren't 60+ hours long. So they had to be hard to make up for the fact that they could be beaten in one sitting.

I used to do that but for when people went to see the thumbnail in the "More info" tab. In one of my levels I wrote "Hello from the More Info tab!"

I think Panga, in one DGR level said that DGR levels are either very good or very bad, and I can guess which of those are more likely to be uncleared.
