  • Clint Smith is a 2014 National Poetry Slam champion, an Individual World Poetry Slam Finalist, a Callaloo Fellow, and has served as a cultural ambassador for the U.S. Department of State. He is a teacher, writer, and doctoral candidate in Education at Harvard University. His two TED Talks, The Danger of Silence and How to Raise a Black Son in America, collectively have been viewed more than 4 millions times.

    As a person of color it is my contention that the misery has gotten enough of our attention. Let us now repress the ideas of being impotent to effectuating the change that is inevitable !
