On a PC with 64 core threadripper CPU, 256 GB Ram and a 11GB GEFORCE RTX 2080 Ti graphic card, using MD 9.5 (5.1.445), I can not reach the simulation performance that I see in this video. Even with a particle distance of 10, instead of 5, I can not actually move any wrinkles because the animation is too slow. What is going on? It is so frustrating
This video was sped up in some places during the editing process only for the purpose of a more efficient lesson with less wait time on UA-cam. We apologize for it being confusing and causing you frustration.
@@Marvelousdesigner no that is not my concern. My problem is that the simulation is so slow on my computer (64 core threadripper CPU, 256 GB Ram and a 11GB GEFORCE RTX 2080 Ti graphic card) that I can not manipulate the cloth during the simulation at all, as it is shown in the video.
With your specs it should work if everything is being allocated properly and not being eaten by something else, maybe do a memory test to check. If a simple shirt is not simulating and interacting with your mouse in Marvelous Designer, feel free to contact us through support at www.marvelousdesigner.com/support/contact with as much information as you can so we can better assist you.
@@Marvelousdesigner it happens when creating bedding and 17% of my RAM is used, marvelous designer only uses a fraction of my CPU. I will gather information and contact customer support. thanks.
