I completely agree with this! It's a game, don't let it become a chore. I usually recommend that people try hard not to miss the free 4★ Servants (Like Chloe in the Prisma Codes event ending today), but it's totally safe to chill out during the other events :)
All valentine events have almost the same structure with the goal always being getting valentine scenes with ur servants, so if u decide to skip it or not grind too hard that's completely fine since you can do it with other valentine events, the only thing that's limited is ofc the new servants that come with them, events with welfares tho are more important since u get a whole free unit
Kind of a stroke of genius on their part, giving everyone voiced scenes so older players would actually use up the chocolates instead of putting them in a museum. But after this, it's back to admiring the chocolates. 5:13 Ya forgot our universal genius! Naturally, I will once again be melting everything in sight. Double Skadi is one heck of a drug. Here's hoping people will get to see and taste the rainbow.
On the one hand Murasaki is not a game changer, and I have lots of gold casters so she'll hardly ever get used till like LB 5.5 where 90% of the enemies are demonic and her anti-demonic schtick becomes super relevant (and she'll have Castoria's to back her up). On the other hand, it's another Raita girl, and I love Raita girls. Though I suppose I should just try to get her swimsuit variant next year though, since the only Raita girl I got anyway is Raikou Lancer (and will get Magical Girl Shuten later this year) and Murasaki's swimsuit variant is a rider which I don't have nearly as many of as I do casters.
Me who pretty much only has female servants levelled and wants to do the challenge quest 😐 How was I supposed to know there would be Consequences for my choices.
I'm mostly excited for the voiced valentine scenes, the fact that I got 2 of my husbandos last year (Dantes and Sigurd) means I'll have fun with the voiced scenes, and excited to see emiya alters scene again too now fully voiced, also all the new servants too (also my bday is pretty close to valentines day so I get an extra treat this event too)
Oh hey, just noticed the 5 star ce has Ishtar’s new arcade exclusive outfit. Guess that’s where it came from. Edit: same for Jackie and the 3 star ce. I love the suit on Janta too!
I love the art on so many of the CEs in FGO in general. I wish they had more Spiritron Dress outfits based on stuff like that. Jack needs an FGO outfit that isn't so revealing.
This might be one event where I mostly forget about the event shop. This is all about farming chocolate for the voiced scenes. Finally I don't have to do what I did last year (watching youtube videos of the Valentine scenes instead of watching the ones in my game). Will definitely get the event CE and whatever I can from the shop. But yeah, I know where the focus will be here. Years of summoned servants got to be farmed through this event. It will be a gauntlet!
Arash, Kintoki and double Skadi will probably finish the CQ in 2T. But man, having to get all the chocolate scenes again for the voiced lines is unfair.

I'm hoping my luck with Offensive Casters can change with Murasaki specially since it seems to be holding strong since not a single Illya showed up but Miyu loved me both CE(2 MLB) & unit wise(NP5).
Well for the Challenge quest my strategy is to utilize a Waver, Okita Alter (got a lvl 100 version) and Support Merlin on the frontline. Should allow me to sweep away the diaries during the first turn without any issues. After that I plan on swapping Okita Alter out for Rider Arturia Alter to a strong single target NP attack onto her quickly with Merlin providing a shield for the inevitable NP from Murasaki....after that it will be a bit touch and go.
went to go and use my old valentines ces on 2 star ces and got 2 great successes. Aerial Drive is now lvl 96 and i’m hoping to finally have it hit lvl 100 off this event
My pick is: Rider Ishtar w/ Scope, Merlin/Skadi and Rider Kintoki w/ any 50% charge for the frontline and Martha w/ Poster Girl, Chiron /w Poster Girl, Atalanta w/ Poster Girl and smb else for the backline. And switch Merlin for Atalante to start PG support chain. Turn 1: Ridershtar all buffs, Merlin charisma, switch to Atalanta, Atalanta quick manaburst, Kintoki charge and quick up. Ridershtar NP, Kintoki NP. Goal: blow both books and Shikibu's first HP bar. Turn 2: Recharge Kintoki's NP ASAP, if recharged - GOLDEN SMASH. After: Martha removes buffs and cleanses if she needs to, Chiron buffs Kintoki with tricolor and crits. After some tries I think I'd be able to figure out when Merlin is needed to come back and invul party for Shikibu's NP. Kinda like that.

Every year I roll for Lancer Artoria in Valentine's and she always avoids me so this year I'll skip her (revenge) and I'll go straight to Kama with 700+ quartz. I hope it's enough

@Katsu Yep. Just give/get chocolates in this event. Last year CEs are just preventing you to get second copies of them (any servant gives you the same CE every year).
I love when helpful people respond even faster than I do! That's right, you have to burn your CEs from last year in order to get the same CE again this year and unlock the fully voiced version of the cutscene. If you have no CEs that's no problem. Just make sure to exchange chocolate for CEs this year to unlock them :)
ok so this will be my first valentines event (I missed it last year) and I have a question. Can we only get the cutscenes of the servants we already have? For example if I don't have karna I can't see his cutscene?

I don't think you can clear all of the points without using some, but the event quests will award a few also. Wait until the 2nd week when the best farming locations are unlocked.
Probably about average or a little above average for a 5★ Caster. Definitely not a bad Servant, but there are better Servants coming out this year if you want to save up.
They drop in little quantities at the end of every fight in this event. And when total amount of gained points reaches certain number - you're getting a reward. Don't forget to equip your party with CE from the event shop and with valentine gift CEs (if have free slots and party cost limit allows you to) ~_^
That's exactly right! Each quest in the event will give you some, but certain free quests will give more than others. Part of the fun is deciding when to focus on those quests or the quests that give more currency for the shops.
I would love to do that more, it's been a long time. My real life schedule has been all over the place so I have trouble finding a solid chunk of time for FGO and I end up playing in lots of little 20 minute bursts instead. If I can carve out a few hours of free time I'll try to do some streaming sessions in the future.
Critical consensus is that she's probably just above-average, which I agree with. AoE Arts Caster, with a high lean on NP-looping thanks to a high-hit-count on said NP (combine with Tamamo support for max effect), and couples with a bit of support thanks to a wide range of utility that buffs allies well and debuffs all enemies. She also has quite the niche in killing Demon enemies, which will be useful to Masters later on in the main story. But despite having high attack for a Caster (2nd highest for her kind, I think?), she is still a Caster, and thus damage outside her NP is mediocre. And since she is not doubling down on her utility due to focusing on slaying demons left and right, she is often overlooked in favor of the Support Kings/Queens.
The game downloads assets it needs, like Servant graphics and NP animations, on the fly sometimes. If you want it to load faster you can go to Menu > My Room > Game Options > Download All. If you want to save a little bit of space you can clear the cache or reinstall though. The space is going to start filling up again when you use new Servants or see new animations though.

Going after MLB Beautiful Dreamer as fast as possible just so I can get Gil and other Buster Servants with decent np gain a good ce pick.
It is a really nice way to help out some Servants that don't typically excel at filling their NP gauge.
Yea I’m need it too almost never run quick and almost always run a mix of buster/arts so need multiple buster 50% CE

You can burn her CE or use it as experience for another CE, then you'll be free to exchange chocolate again.

Should be fine, I think you basically just have to not have them. So whether you burn them or use them as XP it shouldn't matter

Critical consensus is that she's probably just above-average, which I agree with. AoE Arts Caster, with a high lean on NP-looping thanks to a high-hit-count on said NP (combine with Tamamo support for max effect), and couples with a bit of support thanks to a wide range of utility that buffs allies well and debuffs all enemies. She also has quite the niche in killing Demon enemies, which will be useful to Masters later on in the main story.
But despite having high attack for a Caster (2nd highest for her kind, I think?), she is still a Caster, and thus damage outside her NP is mediocre. And since she is not doubling down on her utility due to focusing on slaying demons left and right, she is often overlooked in favor of the Support Kings/Queens.

If after this event I clear game cache or even reinstal the game, would that free my phone storage?
The game downloads assets it needs, like Servant graphics and NP animations, on the fly sometimes. If you want it to load faster you can go to Menu > My Room > Game Options > Download All. If you want to save a little bit of space you can clear the cache or reinstall though. The space is going to start filling up again when you use new Servants or see new animations though.
