Thank you, I’ve had severs for a year now and that’s because my doctors didn’t put me in the correct direction, they put me in a boot and let me go. I’ve went to a new doctors office and they said they way my old doctors took it, it wouldn’t had helped me instead I had to do stretches to fix it. Honestly why did they even do that, to make me pay more money, that still makes me mad 😒
Hi ii Circuit, I'm sorry to hear severs has caused you so much pain. Do you do mobility and massage therapy? Stretching the calves can help with pain as well as massage. Also try getting around your Achilles tendon and massage with your hand. Using a ball, such as a golf or baseball can help massage the bottom of the foot. Are you flat footed? Being flat footed could also be a cause to the pain. Practicing a morning and evening lower extremities mobility and massage regimen can help with decreasing the pain. Thank you for the comment.
I’m a gymnast, this hurts so fricken much. Right now it hurts to walk... I ice it, wear a heel cup every time I get up, and I use pain medicine and of course rest. I have had this pain for almost 3 months. I really should probably go to a doc but is severe cases you can be in a boot for up to 3 months, I really don’t want to repeat a level because of this Btw I train around 20 hours a week
Im sorry to hear its effecting your activity. Yes, if you go to the doc you might be put in a boot. Have you tried working on other parts of your leg. There are certain points near the knee and hip that can help alleviate the pain in the heal and arch of the foot.
Hi Olly, thank you for taking the time to watch the video. Recovery time can very. Its going to depend on how active you are and the type of recovery you are performing. However, it generally takes anywhere between 1 and 3 months. Thanks for the comment!
I’m a football player who wants to really get my severes gone but I don’t have enough time, I have so much practice and so much homework. I’ve had it for 2 years and it hasn’t gotten better just worse. My feet are also slanted in a lot and I walk weird sometimes. I need stretches to do in bed before I go to sleep. Those I have time for.
I try to run on my fingers but i cant it hurts so bad so i have to run on my heel and it hurts again i dont know what to do cause nothing is helping😣😣😥😥
Hi Ali, I'm sorry nothing has been able to help. Have you tried a mobility and massage therapy regimen? If not practicing a morning and evening mobility and massage regimen could help. Are you flat footed? Being flat footed could be part of the issue also. Practicing a strength regimen for the bottom of the foot could help with pain as well. Either way it is a daily commitment to help the lower leg become more mobile or strong. Thank you for the comment.
Hi, first of all this video was so helpful for me thanks. I suffer from plantar fasciitis in my right heel and i was regularly playing football once a week before i knew this. ı ve seen 2 doctors, one of them just said that i have this issue and shouldnt play anymore. And the other said that we could overcome this situation. I wonder is there any idea do you have about this situation ? Have a nice day :)
Have visited a PT/Dr? You might have an issue along the given side that's causing the effect. If the underlying issue, i.e. knee, hip or lower back are not being addressed the pain may not subsided.
If you have Sever disease u can sport as much as you want it wont do anything to ur heel but it will do alot of pain but it will hurt

Curious if it has gone away in two years. My 11 year old soccer player has had pretty bad pain for a year. We’ve done everything to try to help.
