  • Larry Pascale takes you through a quick but informative demo of the new ISP Michael Sweet Empyrean Pedal.
Gear used -Les Paul Custom through the ISP MS Empyrean into a Galaxy Tape Echo Plug through an UA Apollo. Speakers are JBL Monitors. Settings on the Empyrean are exact MS settings as he sent them to me.
Obviously, I didn’t dig into 50 different settings here however I just wanted to demo this thing quickly to give you a great idea of the heavier side. Through an amp and cab it’s absolutely even more mind-boggling!! Think about how fat the tone is just coming through these JBL monitors. Awesome stuff.

Finally!!! Good to see an actual quick review--- I have this pedal..and right out of the box was blown away when I plugged it in...I was like... I'm done searching for distortion and overdrive pedals... however since that time I haven't been able to get the tones just right again...
I was shocked to see you had all three buttons active and no feedback... I was getting some awful feedback when having the Distortion and Preamp engaged.
I see you are plugged in direct to the pedal. I have it after my buffer/compressor pedal
I need to try your settings....
Were you running it through your clean channel? That's where I was getting the best tones, using the Preamp with either my REVV g2 or Germanium Tumnus Deluxe from Wampler and get great tones that way....
My amp is REVV g50 and I also have a Suhr PT 15 that I have not yet run the pedal through...

Hey Mr. C. …Take a look at the description of the video, all the Info you’re looking for is in there! Also thanks for noticing the “quick video”That was my intent ,not to get into every knob and get granular for an hour.
After you read the description and see what you were listening to , in addition I’m also running the Empyrean with the same settings, you see here into a Marshall Plexi…No FB. Thanks for Watching!!!

@@larrypascalemusic7734 My pleasurer- I guess I wasn't that far off regarding the settings I had. I had to push up the mids a little bit more for my liking and added a little more treble in the pre amp. Back to sounding amazing again! This pedal will unfortunately fall under the radar...
Do you have the HP and LP buttons pushed in? can't tell from the vid... I do not..I sill like the thicker bottom end and it still sounds tight and clear to me. Like you said you can hear every note ring out.,
Lastly, were you just noodling around or was anything you were playing an original idea.
I love the riff you started playing at the 3:09 mark. You should absolutely do something with that riff!!!
      all the best brother!!

awesome. anytime you use a para eq noise is always an issue. to have the decimator built in is genius.

one very last thing... Do you at al intend on using the FX loop/ it's great idea and you can use the 4 cable method without having to use you actual amp...I don't know how good it is compared to fx loops in my Rev and Suhr amps
