- The Cut is a barbershop reasoning/conversation that is aired on CVM TV on Mondays at 8pm. Here is where we discuss the topics from a unique perspective. The Cut is hosted by Wayne Mitchell from the Meet The Mitchells UA-cam channel.
I’m so loving this forum! Congratulations.❤
Big up Jesse...real visionary
Wayne!!!! yah Marshall up this series!!!! loving it. Love how you and your team select your guests. I am always surprised! There's something about the barbershop setting that gets ppl talking... Tammy should be doing a series called "Curls" in the salon and get the women talking too. Congrats 👏 👏
Great point Jesse; we need to interact with folks other than what we are comfortable with, to learn and practice cultural sensitivity.
2 at a time, you're going to burn through your potential guests in record time. With that being said, I love the concept. The thing is, with this format, you can have reoccurring guest matched up with a different returning guest, and that's a different show altogether.
A don’t think so
Nah, keep the cut "fresh " Jamaica is not only Kingston there are plenty of impactful great minds all over the island. He and his producer just needs to find them
At Episode 50, he could have been at Episode 100, with the same number of guests. If 50 episodes are 4 seasons, then he could have had 8 seasons. Not to say the concept is bad, I like it. The show is due 2 females, though. Tommy and Babsy Grange, then Liz and Lisa Hanna.
Bruh, Jamaica will never run out of characters. Sure, he could have 100 guests but of that number, 30 might be boring & then you start losing the audience. This concept of ying & yang is way more interesting. Different perspectives on one topic, one guest lifts it up if another one lowers the vibes. Quality over quantity. One guest per show has been done over & over again. This format is fresh, like a fresh haircut.
Bless up really enjoyed the messages
This show, mi rate it man! Perspectives, this is what Jamaica needs more of!
Bring in young youths I want to here their perspective, I want to see the future.
Thanks
Respect Mr Golding… 👍🏽
Ironically Jamaicans are amongst the most traveled people in the world and they are amongst the people with the highest percentage of visa denial.
Wayne you’re such a great conversationalist. I truly appreciate all the different perspectives given on the topics at hand.
This series is now my new favorite! Like the topics, the points, the suggestions like everything is ssoooooo interesting and engaging! Like some of these interviews definitely need part 2 or something. But I love this!
Key take away, reading is fundamental and when it comes to transformative changes, the youths have to be mentally ready.
This represents a necessary and very good discourse.
Loving the conversations, you could possibly have multi-part series, which will enable you to cover more topics. Blessings 🙏🏾
Great conversation, a politician and a musician, very good topics you all touched on. Even though they grew up different they have similar experiences 😊
Great seeing you in this space Wayne, the pace of the conversation was good and flowed organically. Loved the variety of topics being discussed. 🙂
Positive vibes
I love your program. It was great to see the human, opposition minister and to understand a little of his story. Jessie Royal is quite an intelligent man likewise. The guests are quite intelligent and stimulating to listen to. Now I have a new book to read. . Keep up the work
I really like this show, it’s nice to learn more about politicians it reminds us that they are normal citizens who have dreams, it humanizes them. As well as the artists, I learnt a lot about Jesse Royal too.
Loved the discussion, big up Wayne..both guests are well rounded & grounded..Jesse Royal & Markie G, up!
The comment about having a huge concert hall in Trenchtown is so real. Good point from Jesse!
It’s nice to see someone on the cut from where I’m from. Maroon Town. St. James. Respect! Big up Jesse 👆🏾

Great conversation.
Was also listening for the Barber's input.
Just seeing this. Was my comment too. The barbers are usually very vocal in the space, even leading the conversations too

Who knew Jesse was so educated we have a misconception in Jamaica but look two different men from two different back grounds both well educated
If it is used correctly it can't help if it ends in the wrong hands it can hurt pros and cons of AI
Wayne I hope your hair grow back fast for the weekly cut and discussion. 😂
Mr golden his father built Hope Valley experimental School and the Mona Rehabilitation Center
The cut is a hit
I agree. AI is a powerful tool if used correctly in the right hands.
I am very good at presentations I have used it several times when last minute situations arise and I just let it come up with the presentation and I just facilitate the discussions and tie it to my life experiences as examples.
Used it to understand math concepts, 😂 just tell it to explain it to a 3rd grader so it is really simply worded and boom I understand it.
One thing missing from these conversations is the voice of the barber. The barbers are always well vocal in the space
The barber 💈 shop make Marshal get young again 💯✅🫡
Damn he from my community maroon town🎉🎉🎉🎉
