Jaii have learned and get the concept of positive thinking. That’s why a lot of people can’t understand the way he thinks. Positive thinking helps a person to focus on the good outcome and not the bad. We deal with the bad when and if it ever happens. Everyone should learn the concept of positive thinking and positive imaging.
Jaii is true to himself and will learn in due time . I'm rooting for his growth and success. Badda has a good head on his shoulder, and Wayne is a great host❤
Badda Bling is on top of his game with great reasoning. Love that. Jaii Frais issa very smart youth with good points as well Bless up Marshall! Good interview
I like the interview tbh.....I now have a better understanding of why Jaii says the things he does. Sessions like these that help people to better understand where people are and where they are coming from are always a plus...... I am used to seeing Babba Bling all over in media and he has some interesting views. I love the relationship he spoke to with him and his kids, we need more fathers who are making that effort to step into the Spotlight.
Speaking as a young professional, I believe that the more seasoned individuals who are making comments on buying a house first really have no idea of what the housing market is currently like and just how difficult it is for a young person to be able to own a home. They lived in an era where it was quite easy to purchase a home as a young person and the fact is that era has long passed. Where the housing market is now, the odds are stacked against us as younger persons in terms of being able to own a house. The simple fact is that owning a car is more attainable than owning a house as a young person in today's Jamaican housing market. Mind you, I dont support the luxury vehicle purchase, unless that is something that is sustainable based on your budget. However, ultimately it would have likely been a lot easier for Jaii to purchase that vehicle than it would have been for him to seek to purchase a house.
Let me share something.... I am not too old. Wayne Mitchell aka Marshall and I are same age. I will be 44 next month. In 2013 , on my 33rd birthday I was able to buy a home in gated , fully secured neighborhood in Jamaica. The value of that home has increased 100% now based on the last valuation done. Full disclosure... I am a banker and my bank gave me cheap interest and of course I took my NHT portion too. It some happened that my then girlfriend now wife was able to buy an Upper St.Andrew 2 bedroom apartment in 2011 as a 30 year old. She used both hers and her mom's NHT benefit to qualify. Today that apartment's value has skyrocketed. Lots of equity in both properties. Full disclosure..she is a doctor.
Each to his own is a right but Jai doesn't seem to yet get the value of equity. He will pay, maybe not twice but definitely more than the full price for the GLE which will depreciate. One can buy a smaller affordable property, (not the one you want) which will appreciate in 10 years(time flies). With careful planning, paying to principal etc..that property can be sold and add a significant chunk to getting the property you want..Just takes time and a little patience,,,,This should be the general advice for very young persons...No one should bash Jai for his choice as he knows his life more than everyone else but we shouldn't pretend his advice is sound and generally good advice cos that won't work for most persons... That works for him...Equity is a highly valuable thing to have....A building block for wealth creation..
say it louder for the people in the back, inflation, interest and housing prices have destroyed the purchasing power of the people. my thing is that purchasing power now and purchasing power back then different
Wayne I would love for you to find some of the old school Dancehall artist and do a show with them! Man like Pinchers The Old Bandalero, Terror Fabulous, Sanchez, Stitchie, Tanya Stephens, Yellowman, Sista Nancy etc etc. ❤🇯🇲✍️

Jai is so seriously distracted ..like he wish to be elsewhere ... But me love listen to his show still ... Bada gonna look out for u.. Wayne wayne u enlighten me...❤
The conversation about house versus car can be debated. My opinion is that you can use the car to hustle meaning go from job to job and save the money to buy a house or buy a house and get a loan against it to buy a car. It depends on the individual and what they want to invest in first.
I love the show just like how I love meet the Mitchell’s, am just saying tho, I like that the barber comes through at times, let your guest have a drink just let it be more relaxed u nuh

Bought my house in America for 600k. 4 bedroom, 2 bath. Yea my husband and I both drive nice cars but nothing like my house. No landlord and my son can make all the noise he wants. Nothing like my house..
This could not be California or New York City. That's a great investment. You must have a big equity by now. That market value maybe increased alot. I am a banker at TD bank by the way. I write loans. I have my vacation home in Jamaica and one here in Ontario, Canada. Make sure you buy some vacation or rental home in Jamaica, though. The Jamaican market is hot. I earn an extra $ US 2000 from my " yaad" ( Jamaica) home in rental each month. 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
MI RUN COME ! YES WAYNE. U nuh mi did think Wayne did only a go have politicians and older more mature dancehall artist. JAII IS CONTROVERSIAL DUE TO HIS VIEWPONTS AND HIS ANGLE ON THINGS AND BEING PROVOKING
Like Jaii said the economists and the accountants need to come out and give advice on monetary and investment issues. He could also benefit from advice as he stated that a house is a liability. What he needs to be aware of is that though the interest rate will seem like you are buying the house 3 times over, what he is not considering is the time value of money. House is an asset (fixed) and though a car is an asset, it depreciates quickly.
Janii is quite controversial, but I think he’s in denial or unaware of it. However, I love his confidence. Wayne, your shows are always entertaining and informative. Keep up the great work! I can't get enough of the MTM family vlog. Respect every time.

Great interview, but there was a clear definition of who was the millennial and who was the Genz. This is where the problem is within on community as a whole because we have folks with no proper reasoning influencing the younger generation.
Whether you like it or not, some individuals are followers and will be easily be influenced by other people’s behaviors, by copying what they see and or heard.
Jaii as a older person i really appreciate your growth but your reasoning about house vs car is poor. A car deprecate it's value everyday. Buying a house isn't as easy as buying a car but the house is a investment not for just today but for years to come. Cars will always be liabilities. But to each his own. One you'll be older and wiser bro. Hope you're planning on buying the house pretty soon. Blessings
Both are liabilities unless u rent out the house plus .A var isn't always a liability either , look how much ppl open car marts , uber, put taxi on road, delivery service etc so it just depends on how u use the car/cars. Also the average person dont have the money to buy a house early on in there life so .Even tho you're older it still shows you don't know quite what you're talking about.
@@matiqueedwards2269both aren’t liabilities at all, house is an asset that appreciates over time, renting it is just extra icing on the cake. Cars generally depreciate unless it’s a collectors item
Folks debating about buying a house vs a car. What about buying the land first and then building from there. You would be surprised what 10 mill can do. It can build a house to start and a beast to skate .
Not a matter of house before car because you may need a car to get to work, so you are not tired and miserable when you get there and can perform better. You may need a car to do certain jobs or take advantage of opportunities that ypu couldn't if you took public transportation. Agree, you can't tell people what to do or be jealous that they chose to buy a nice car, life is to be enjoyed. Jaii can't afford the house he wants but what he doesn't get is that he can always invest in a small house or condo then sell it later when it appreciates for a profit and have more of a deposit to buy the house he really wants.
A house is a liability if it’s not generating income. The key is to generate income. His reasoning is beyond just owning a house. He wants to be flexible to live anywhere in the world and generate income as a young rising star.
